The main villa enjoys a fabulous open-plan living space with a trendy kitchen offering the best of appliances and a breakfast bar, a smart dining area enjoying garden views, a sublime living area with sumptuous contemporary sofas and chairs, and a television for your entertainment. A wall of glass doors opens to the terrace and pool. On this level, there is also an office with a library overlooking the sea and a guest toilet. There is a laundry room in the basement.

Upstairs, you will discover a stunning airy main bedroom with an immaculate ensuite bathroom and a separate bathtub. Its walls of glass ensure that you wake up to blissful sea views and go to sleep to the harmonious soundtrack of the sea. Another bedroom offers a lavish double bed, a pristine ensuite bathroom and access to a private terrace with sea views. In addition, there are two further bedrooms, one offering a beautifully dressed double bed and the other with bunk beds, ideal for children. Both enjoy gorgeous views of the garden and pool and share a terrace and bathroom.

Villa Crystal Beach’s outdoor spaces are heavenly. There is a sublime roof terrace with stunning sea and mountain vistas. It is beautifully furnished and is a brilliant space for a quiet read or drink while watching the sun go down. Outside of the living space is a splendid terrace for lounging and alfresco dining, another terrace at the other end of the villa, the pool with its gorgeous little benches, its decked sun terrace sprinkled with loungers, a bathroom for the pool and a guest bedroom with a double bed and bathroom. It is all just dreamy!

Villa Crystal Beach is located in the lovely resort of Mal Pas, just minutes from fine silvery sands and turquoise water, shops, restaurants and bars. Sant Pere and Sant Joan are fabulous peaceful beaches where you can spend lazy days enjoying the sunshine. Just around the corner is the stunning beach of S’Illot. It is lovely, with uninterrupted magnificent views of the stunning turquoise Bay of Pollensa and the Formentor peninsula from its seafront position. Its backdrop of the dramatic Tramuntana mountain range adds to the heavenly scenes, and the glass architecture of the villa certainly makes the most of them. A few moments away, Bonaire boasts a picturesque marina, a scuba school, kayak hire, fabulous bars and restaurants and a few shops.

Alcudia Old Town is wonderfully characterful and atmospheric for an evening out. It is romantic and charming with narrow, winding cobbled streets, Romeo and Juliet balconies, cosy, authentic cafes, unique little boutiques, fantastic gourmet restaurants and tapas bars and a vibrant open-air market. Its Roman ruins and museum, just outside the walls, are fascinating and a popular stop. Just east of Alcudia Old Town at Playa de Muro, visitors can take SUP padding boarding or even yoga classes on the boards!

Pollensa and Puerta Pollensa are both fabulous. Pollensa is a charming, ancient walled town with stunning architecture, contemporary art galleries, excellent shops, chic restaurants and a lively market. Puerto Pollensa is fantastic with its dazzling white sand and shallow, warm water. A little further on, Formentor is spectacular. The road to getting there is a little hairy, so be prepared!

There are several vineyards around Mallorca where you can taste some delicious local wines. Bodegas Can Vidalet at Pollensa and Bodega Butxet are excellent. The Mortitx Winery, hidden off a winding road between Pollensa and Lluc, is a young and up-and-coming contender in the Balearic wine market. You really should include a trip into the majestic Tramuntana mountain range too.

THE REGION

The vibrant northern town of Alcúdia is truly a year-round location, offering life, history and culture throughout all seasons. Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.

The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.

Children have a wonderful time at Villa Crystal Beach. The villa is spacious and beautiful, and the swimming pool is fabulous. In moments you can relax on the soft sands of two delightful beaches.

Once you have tried out the local beaches, you should head to the incredibly long Port d’Alcudia Beach, which is amazing for children. There are many watersports to choose from with gorgeous, crystal clear water.

There are three waterparks in Mallorca, including the nearby Hidropark in Alcudia. Set in lush landscaped gardens, it boasts thrilling kamikaze slides, a wave pool, swimming, gentle slides for very young children and water playgrounds in its 40,000 metres. There are also inflatable castles, trampolines, giant floating balls and a golf course.

A popular outing for families is to visit some of Mallorca's interesting caves. Coves d'Arta's guided tour takes you through various chambers to the 'Queen of Pillars', a huge stalagmite twenty-two metres tall. Coves de Drach, Caves of the Dragon, is the most famous cave. It has four caves where musicians play classical music from the boats on the underground lake. In the direction of Palma, you will discover the traditional village of Campanet, where The Ses Coves de Campanet are a lovely sight. Children love caves, and there is a wonderful natural ambience on the small hillside with glorious views over the surrounding countryside.

The thrilling tree-top adventure park at Santa Ponsa is set in nine hectares of pine forest. It may be a drive away, but it is a wonderful day out for youngsters. There are one hundred and twenty-three platforms built into the trees with three different circuits with bridges, swings, ladders and zip lines for varying abilities.
