When arriving at Can Avi, you immediately feel at home. It offers a warm ambience, total seclusion and fabulous outside space. The villa enjoys an independent bungalow apartment with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living area, as well as the main villa, which offers open plan living space and four bedrooms. This arrangement is perfect for a family taking a holiday with grandparents or perhaps some young adults that would enjoy a little private time.

Can Avi is located in a lovely peaceful area near Santa Eulalia, less than two miles from wonderful beaches such as Cala Pada, S’Arganmassa and Niu Blau. Santa Eulalia is Ibiza’s third largest town and has a reputation for being one of the best places to eat on the island. It boasts endless gorgeous beaches, a pretty palm-fringed promenade, fantastic shopping and a wonderful choice of restaurants.
 
The owners of Can Avi have gone to great lengths to ensure that guests can totally relax and enjoy the villa’s many charms. The garden is delightful with a children’s playhouse, slide and other toys and equipment. The garden is fully enclosed and enjoys a pool, a wonderful outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, shaded alfresco dining, sun loungers and gorgeous country views. Though you will feel totally away from all the stresses of everyday life, you are not far from the action in this wonderful location.
 
The main villa is built over two floors, with most of the rooms on the ground floor. The living space is bright and airy. It enjoys a very inviting ambience with bright splashes of colour, characterful beams, a unique light over the dining table and a comfy sofa looking out to the garden. The kitchen is open to the living space with all the appliances you need for a self-catering holiday. Satellite television is provided for your entertainment as well as WiFi. The hallway leads to three bedrooms, one being the master. In cheery yellow and blue, it boasts a four-poster bed and an ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms on the ground floor enjoy twin beds and share a family bathroom with a bath. The fourth bedroom is upstairs with a balcony and another shower room.
 
The cute bungalow apartment sits to the side of the garden with a shaded chill-out area where you can relax on a giant day bed. It offers an open kitchen, a charming living area, a double bedroom and a shower room. Overall, Can Avi offers five bedrooms, sleeping ten guests, so it is ideal for large multi-generational families or groups of friends.
 
The garden and terrace are a total delight. Surrounded by lush trees, you will enjoy privacy and peace. There is a fantastic outdoor kitchen and dining area, a gorgeous pool and plenty of space for children to play with the toys provided on the lawns. There are lovely countryside views of the mountains.

Can Avi enjoys a delightfully quiet location close to Santa Eulalia, a fabulous resort with wonderful amenities. Santa Eulalia’s pretty promenade runs the whole length of the beach and is adorned with miniature gardens, towering palm trees and a large fountain. At one end, you will discover Mariner’s Beach, where the only river in the whole of the Balearics runs into the sea. You can take a blissful river meander to the Roman bridge and to the little beach of Calo de S’Alga. There are two main streets in the town which are sprinkled with gorgeous boutiques, art galleries and cosy cafes and restaurants where you can watch the world go by. Musicians frequently play in the streets, and you can buy some souvenirs from the craft stalls. The atmosphere is wonderful. The yacht marina is very stylish and elegant, brimming with gorgeous floating palaces of your dreams. Small ferry boats take you to the nearby beaches, the colourful hippy market at Es Cana and to the amazing sister island of Formentera. There are some amazing countryside restaurants within easy reach, including Can Muson de sa Vila and Bambuddha, a temple for fine dining.
 
Punta Arabi, at Es Cana, is the oldest and biggest hippy market in Ibiza, with over five hundred artisans, designers and craftsmen selling goods from all over the world. You will find handmade and second-hand items as well as delicious food stalls, live music, entertainment and lots of opportunities to learn about the authentic Ibiza culture. There is a special children’s area where youngsters can make flower crowns, create their own t-shirts and get their faces painted. It is a great excursion for the whole family!
 
Cala Llonga, just south of Santa Eulalia, is delightful, with a magnificent silver sanded beach surrounded by pine-clad hills. It is a complete mini-resort with many restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and a weekly market. Cala Pada is a welcome escape from the crowds. Jetties and wooden walkways give this beach lots of character. It is a great beach for windsurfing. You will also find pedalos and parasailing boats here. S’Argamassa Beach is secluded and impeccably kept. It also boasts a wonderful array of watersports, water toys and boat excursions. It is the home of Nikki Beach Ibiza, an upmarket beach restaurant with other branches in St Tropez and Marbella.
 
You will discover hidden villages, silent churches, lovely hillsides and vineyards on the island. San Rafael is very pretty and worth a stop. It is famous for its fabulous ceramic workshops where intricate handmade pottery is produced and excellent rustic restaurants serving culinary feasts.
 
In Ibiza Town, you should visit the World Heritage-listed Dalt Vila and the modern Marina Botafoch. Dalt Vila, which overlooks the town, is a treasure trove of history, mystery and discoveries spanning 2500 years. The narrow, winding cobbled streets offer magnificent views from the breaks in the high ramparts and are lined with art galleries, restaurants and shops. The Contemporary Art Museum is excellent. The imposing Cathedral of Nuestra Senora de las Nieves sits in its majesty with views as far as Formentera. You may also want to visit the renowned super-club Pacha.

THE REGION

Santa Eulalia, Ibiza's third largest resort, is only 21 km from the airport and is a beloved destination for families and those seeking a quieter holiday. There is a beautiful, palm-lined promenade running the length of the broad and sandy beach, and the choice of hotels and apartments in and around the town itself is excellent.

Stroll along the famous promenade, where interestingly much of the beach is man-made, for some people watching and bar-hopping, then cruise down to the flashy marina to check out the luxury yachts moored in the port. Visit the mini-markets in the main square or head further around the coast to the hippy markets at Es Canar. Golf enthusiasts will be happy to know Ibiza's one and only golf course is in the region too.

Can Avi is ideal for a family holiday. You can even bring the grandparents along, who can enjoy a little private bungalow in the garden. Children love the swimming pool, garden and play toys and the bedrooms are perfect for children.

Santa Eulalia is a great family holiday destination. There is everything there, but it is not too wild like San Antonio or Ibiza Town. The beach is a delightful wonder with a choice of watersports. You can take boat trips to Formentera or other resorts. There are other beaches within very easy reach of the villa that is ideal for families, including Cala Pada, S’Arganmassa and Niu Blau. There are so many lovely beaches to visit around the island, from long sandy stretches to pretty pebbled coves. If you take a jeep safari, you will visit some that you may not get to otherwise.
 
Children are fascinated by the 16th-century church at the summit of Puig de Missa. The views are spectacular, and the church looks amazing when it is lit up at night.

Children aged twelve and over can enjoy a half or full-day horse treks in the countryside or on beaches with Horse Valley, a stable that rescues mistreated horses and ponies. Younger children can enjoy a horse ride in the countryside with Active Ibiza.
 
Aguamar Water Park in Playa d’en Bossa offers plenty of water thrills and fun. It boasts a good range of white-knuckle slides, chutes, tubes and pools and more sedate rides for very young children.  

In the southeast of the island, children love the freedom and beauty of the Parc Natural de Ses Salines. There are hundreds of species of birds that nest and migrate, including flocks of migrating hot-pink flamingoes. There are also sparkling salt pans on the amazing landscape and stunning sandy beaches, including Illestes and Llevant.
 
Other activities for children include ziplining at the wonderful Acrobosc Adventure Park, coastal cycling, stand-up paddleboarding and parasailing.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €1000 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 3 - 7 pm. Late check in is available on request between 7 pm - 10 pm at an extra cost of €60 per booking, paid locally. Check in after 10 pm will be at an extra cost of €100 per booking, paid locally.

Pool towels included? No.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

    Perfect villa for families with children. It also has a playground, barbecue and a big garden where you can spend good moments. It is walking distance to a tasty local food restaurant - Cas Pages. Also Las Dalias is 5-10 minutes away by car.
