A tremendous and attractive property located in Es Cubells, Villa Portmany offers guests an abundance of space to use as they please. The outdoor areas of this property seem to span for miles, providing an array of stunning mountain views. This property also includes an expansive pool area, helping guests to cool off after a long day of sightseeing in the blazing sun. There is also an expertly manicured lawn area that has been lined with soft grass, giving guests another place in which they can truly relax. Alongside these amenities, Villa Portmany also showcases a plethora of outdoor terraces. As such, guests are free to indulge in a refreshing glass of wine as they take in the idyllic landscape that sits before them.
With regard to the interior, a majority of the main living areas are located on the first floor, providing beautiful views from any point in the house. The living room adheres to a minimalist theme with a few quirky decors to help add a touch of character to the entire space. This area is also ideal for engaging in family movie nights, as seen by the crisp white sofas and considerable flatscreen TV located in this room. Opposite this space is the dining area, a place that also follows a very simplistic style. The bright white table and chairs help to balance out the sapphire blue sky that appears through the windows of this area. In turn, guests can enjoy their daily meals in this striking and communal environment. The kitchen within this property pulls upon a darker theme, using wooden cupboards to help create a more traditional and homely atmosphere. This floor is also home to the first bedroom. Here, you will find a spacious double bed as well as access to a stylish en-suite bathroom.
Travelling down to the ground floor, this is where you’ll uncover the remaining two bedrooms. Both of these rooms provide a pair of single beds as well as access to their own en-suite bathrooms. As a result, these rooms are perfect for small children or for couples who prefer to sleep apart.

Many establishments throughout the area can pair you with a vintage scooter, helping you to uncover a wealth of hidden gems during your trip. These tours often begin at Playa d’en Bossa beach, which is around 30-minutes away. Once you have received your safety briefing, you will be able to discover a range of hotspots, such as the magnificent White Isle. It should be mentioned that in order to take part in one of these excursions, guests must have a valid driving license for at least three years and can only have two people riding the scooter at one time.
Es Cubells is also well recognised for its energetic and ever-developing food scene. Restaurante Los Pinos is based just a stone’s throw away from the centre of the region and provides a plethora of exquisite menu options. THE REGION
Although set just outside the buzz of the village of San José, Es Cubells is distant enough to create a wonderful feeling of seclusion. As you drive past traditional fincas and rural farmland plus olive and orange groves, the pressure of everyday life seems to just slip away.
The exclusive, ultra-private properties peppered along the rocky cliffside are contemporary and luxurious in style yet possess an air of laid-back chic, setting the scene for the ultimate Mediterranean getaway.
Typical Spanish cuisine can be found in the two restaurants in the little village – take your pick between Bar Llumbi Restaurante – famous for mama’s pork chops and tasty tapas dishes – overlooking the sea, or tuck into hearty plates like grilled meats, whole fish baked in salt, paella or typical Ibicenco dishes including bullit de peix or guisat de peix on the sunny terrace of Bar Restaurante Es Cubells just opposite the church.

Talamanca beach is one of the finest in the region and can be found just 30-minutes away from the centre of Es Cubells. This beach is most known for its curved nature, blending soft golden sand and calm water in a unique fashion. Guests will also be inundated with amazing mountain views, allowing all of these beautiful sights to effortlessly melt into one. Talamanca beach also showcases a wide variety of high-end facilities such as disabled toilets, expert lifeguards, as well as public showers. This region also boasts a rich religious history, with the iconic Es Cubells church being situated just a short walk away. This marvellous monument was first founded in 1864 but suffered great damage and destruction during the Spanish Civil War. However, the church was rebuilt in 1957 and was transformed into the church that stands today. Its immense central nave and selection of side chapels help this building to stand out from the crowd and exude a sense of holiness and joy. Guests are free to enter the church and learn more about the vast collection of fixtures and artefacts that are placed on the show.
