Nestled in an exclusive complex on the famous Salobre Golf Resort, Villa Pace is a luxurious and spacious two-bedroom property that sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms. The villa’s single-storey layout makes it an ideal choice for those who are travelling with young children, older guests or those with limited mobility, and offers guests luxury and utility as well as showcasing some stunning panoramic views of the golf course and the mountains beyond.

Villa Pace has a large, open-plan interior that includes a sliding glass wall running the length of the lounge area that opens out onto a partially-covered, fully-furnished dining terrace. The villa’s decor is light and neutral throughout, with high-end fixtures and furnishings offering splashes of colour and touches of luxury in each room. There are soft, comfortable sofas and a large flatscreen smart TV for relaxation and entertainment in the lounge area, as well as ample indoor dining space for enjoying intimate meals or for sitting and planning the day ahead. The kitchen area is spacious and well-laid out, with lots of space for food prep and features high-end appliances such as a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher to ensure that you and your guests can enjoy a home-from-home experience.

Villa Pace features two equally spacious and stylish bedrooms, with the master consisting of a double bed, dressing room and a modern ensuite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is a twin featuring two single beds, making it ideal for the kids, and it also has ensuite shower facilities. Both bedrooms benefit from plenty of wardrobe space, as well as floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that offer incredible scenic views along with direct access to the garden and private pool.

The villa’s garden is spacious, neat and well-maintained and includes a  fabulous partially-covered dining terrace and built-in barbecue - ideal for alfresco meals - as well as a good-sized lawn area with sun loungers and parasols, the ideal spot for relaxing with a good book and cocktail or two. The icing on Villa Pace’s cake is its private pool, accessible by a ladder at one end and Roman steps with a handrail at the other, making things easy for guests of all ages.

  • Villa Pace is part of an exclusive residential area, and so guests are expected to refrain from excessive noise such as parties
  • If you’re travelling with very young children you’ll be pleased to know that a highchair and cot are available on request
  • Naturists are welcome at some of the nearby beaches in Maspalomas and Meloneras

Villa Pace is situated on an exclusive, high-end complex on Gran Canaria’s celebrated Salobre Golf Resort. The resort features the best greens in the region and promises players of all levels a challenging game in unforgettable surroundings. It is the only resort in the Canary Islands to combine two eighteen-hole courses on the same site and is situated just minutes from the towns of Meloneras and Maspalomas and all that they have to offer in the way of beaches, restaurants, bars and leisure facilities.

Nearby Maspalomas is well-known for its vast expanses of coastal dunes, a protected site that covers over a thousand acres. You can explore much of this area on foot, taking in sights such as the beautiful lagoon and lighthouse, but we recommend taking a camel safari for a truly unique and fun way to experience this incredible landscape.

Foodies will be pleased to know that both Maspalomas Meloneras is bursting with fantastic seafront restaurants that offer a tantalising mix of fantastic views and even better food! If seafood is a particular favourite, you’re in for a treat, but you won’t struggle to find other types of cuisine here either! The region has a wide range of delicious cuisine on offer, such as pulpo and prawns, grilled calamari, paella, steaks, tapas, burgers and pasta dishes - as well as plenty of bars where you can enjoy cocktails and pre-dinner drinks.

If you’re looking to indulge in some retail therapy during your stay in Gran Canaria, you’ll be pleased to know that there are some fantastic outdoor markets to visit in the area, with stalls selling everything from clothing and jewellery to arts, crafts and fresh produce. The aloe vera plant is native to Gran Canaria, so you’ll find a wide array of aloe vera products on sale at the markets here - so be sure to grab some locally-sourced skincare during your visit! If you’re looking for a higher-end shopping experience, we recommend heading to Boulevard Faro, where you’ll find well-known labels like La Perla, Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger. A little further along the seafront, you’ll find the popular Bellavista and El Varadero shopping centres, as well as even more cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy.

Villa Pace is an ideal choice of holiday accommodation for those with young children, thanks to its open-plan, single-storey layout and quiet, residential setting. The villa features a twin room, which is ideal for the kids, and if you have a child aged under two years old, a high chair and cot are available for your convenience. The kids will enjoy having a private, enclosed garden to enjoy, and the private pool is sure to be a hit! Parents should be aware that although it has Roman steps and a handrail for easy access at one end, there is ladder access at the other, which might be difficult for little ones to navigate. Also, there is no fence or barrier around the pool, so young children will need to be well supervised when they’re playing in the vicinity.

This villa is situated in a residential area overlooking the Salobre Golf Course, a family-friendly resort that offers plenty in the way of leisure activities, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars. Nearby Maspalomas and Meloneras are home to great beaches and markets, cycling and walking routes, and lots of shopping centres and eateries - so guests of all ages will find plenty to enjoy.

If you’re holidaying in the region with the kids, we recommend enjoying a family day out at Aqualand Maspalomas, a water-based amusement park filled with adrenaline-fuelled waterslides and wave pools. Here you’ll find the opportunity to swim with sea lions, as well as enjoy a serene floating tour of the Pirate River - there really is something for everyone. Oliver recommends booking tickets for the park’s VIP zone, where cushioned sun chairs are serviced by friendly staff and make for a welcome spot for a shady rest.

For something a little more gentle and relaxing, a visit to El Faro de Maspalomas - one of the oldest lighthouses in Europe - is a must. This fascinating landmark is a popular tourist destination thanks to its picturesque beach setting and rich history that lends itself perfectly to a calming and interesting family day out. With plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in the surrounding area, it’s the perfect ‘base camp’ for your day out with the kids, with everything you need: sand, sea, sights and refreshments all in one place.

For a once-in-a-lifetime experience that older kids, in particular, will love,  why not plan a trip to the Moonlight Cinema, Europe’s only permanent outdoor cinema. The kids will love cosying up on comfy sofas and blankets as they watch movies under the stars, all while being served freshly prepared food and drinks!

Security deposit €350 charged to the client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to a full inspection.
