Close to the glamorous area of Puerto Banus sits this thoroughly modern five-bedroom townhouse. Furnished with style in mind, the interiors are cool and attractive, with almost every room drenched in light from glass doors and large windows.
On the ground floor, the open-plan living area is all neutral tones and soft furnishings, with the lounge featuring a huge sofa, ottomans and plump cushions adding to the laid-back vibe. During the day, slide open the floor-to-ceiling doors and let the warm Mediterranean breeze waft in, while in the evening, it's the perfect spot to take it easy with a film on the huge Smart TV. When it's time to eat, you'll find a stylish and well-equipped kitchen with every appliance you'll need to create a delicious meal. Serve casual meals at the breakfast bar, or for more sociable dining, gather everyone together at the table that overlooks the garden and pool. Heading downstairs, you'll find a double bedroom, twin bedroom, and shared bathroom.
From the living area, an elegant staircase sweeps up to the first floor, where three double bedrooms are located. All the bedrooms are wonderfully comfortable, with whitewashed walls, contemporary furnishings, and shiny en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom also boasts a private balcony so you can sit and bask in the morning sun.
Back on the ground floor, a shady terrace is dotted with garden furniture and an elegant dining table and overlooks a neat garden and private pool. There's also a roof terrace where you can top up your tan on a sun lounger, chat with friends on the outdoor furniture or chill out in the hot tub. And when night falls, the large table is the perfect place for dining under the stars. The townhouse is set in a residential area, and there are plenty of nearby amenities. It's a short walk to the beach and to Puerto Banus, with its luxury marina, designer shops and glamorous nightlife.

About the surrounding area of Villa GeniaAlthough the property is set in a residential area, the Mediterranean shoreline is just a short stroll away in Puerto Banus. Once a traditional fishing village, today, Puerto Banus is considered to be the most glamorous place on the Costa del Sol. Known for its designer stores, Michelin-starred restaurants, and a glittering marina filled with superyachts, it also boasts a long, sandy beach. It's a good spot for a swim with its calm waters, or for a fun day out, charter a yacht and sail along the coastline. Away from the seafront, authentic Spanish department stores and local boutiques can be found.
Spend an afternoon browsing the shops or head to the bustling market, held on a Saturday, in the bullring in Nueva Andalucia. Located just a 2-minute walk from Puerto Banus, it's one of the largest markets on the Costa del Sol and boasts more than 120 stalls. Here you'll find everything from antique jewellery and local handicrafts to fresh fruit and vegetables.
Nueva Andalucia is also known as "Golf Valley", and some of the finest courses on the Costa del Sol are less than a 10-minute drive from the property. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the famous Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, or Aloha golf courses, and after a day on the green, why not explore San Pedro de Alcantara? It's a charming town with some wonderful bars and restaurants serving delicious tapas. Although there is plenty to see and do here, the town of Marbella is also worth a visit. Just 15 minutes away by car, it's famous for its glitz and glamour, but away from the harbour, the old town is a pretty place to while away a few hours. Stroll through the narrow streets with its flower-filled window boxes and stop for a coffee in the Plaza de Los Naranjos. Here you can admire the Moorish and Baroque architecture, then visit the Museum for Contemporary Spanish Engravings and discover the works of Miro, Dali and Picasso.

Enjoy memorable meals in the open-plan living room or gather everyone together and settle down on the sofa with a film on the Smart TV. Kids can also kick back in their own spacious bedroom or head outside and have hours of fun splashing in the swimming pool, playing on the grass or lounging on the garden furniture while listening to music. There's even a jacuzzi on the rooftop that older children can enjoy. Come evening, the roof terrace is also a great place for an alfresco meal under the stars.
For a day at the beach, pack the sun cream and stroll to the sandy beaches at Puerto Banus. Here children can swim or snorkel safely in the calm Mediterranean waters and build sandcastles on the shore. And if you want to experience the coastline from a different perspective, jump on a catamaran or charter a yacht. Kids will love feeling the sea spray on their faces and spotting dolphins in the water. Alternatively, visit the aquarium and learn more about the rich marine life and marvel at the sharks, stingrays, octopuses and sunfish.
Children will also love the Ecological Reserve of Ojen. This fantastic conservation park is 20 minutes away by car and is home to a variety of animals. Book a guided tour through the heart of the reserve and enjoy the thrill of spotting mountain goats, mouflons, and eagles. More animal adventure can be had at Selwo Aventura. A 15-minute drive away, it's larger than Ojen and offers children the chance to see rhinos, giraffes, elephants and lions. Children can also have fun playing at a specially designed, pirate-themed golf course in San Pedro (less than a 10-minute drive away). Once they've exhausted the course, they can practise their ice skating skills at the indoor rink or try their hand at wakeboarding at the cable ski and wakeboarding centre.
