Villa Caliente is a charming, relaxed villa, located in the quiet estate of Aiguea Gelida, only 1.5km from the beach of Tamariu. Boasting spectacular views over the sea, the villa is a fabulous base from which you can enjoy this lovely, peaceful area.

The villa has a laid-back, relaxed atmosphere throughout, with four, good-sized twin-bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living areas are bright and airy, with large glass windows and door allowing light to flood in, enlivening the space, whilst also offering views out towards the pool and the sea. The living/dining room is ideal for socialising as a group, with plenty of comfortable seating and a cosy fireplace creating a relaxed ambience.

The kitchen is fully equipped for your use, so you can make up some tasty picnics to carry down to the beach, or whip up a family feast to enjoy on the terrace.

Sitting outside on the sunny terrace gives that Spanish, summer feeling, gazing out to the horizon on the sea, it is hard not to feel at ease and relaxed.

The villa is surrounded by a garden and terrace, with a desirable private swimming pool, there is everything you might need to enjoy a special holiday away in the sunshine. The laid-back atmosphere of the villa, makes it feel like a home away from home, somewhere you can really settle into during your stay. There are restaurants and shops all within walking distance, ideal for families with children, as you can escape the fuss of driving.

Villa Caliente is a charming, relaxed villa, located in the quiet estate of Aiguea Gelida, only 1.5km from the beach of Tamariu. Boasting spectacular views over the sea, the villa is a fabulous base from which you can enjoy this lovely, peaceful area.

Tamariu forms part of the municipality of Palafrugell, along with with its near neighbours, the larger town of Llafranc, and Calella. One of the most charming and unspoilt stretches of the Spanish coast, the area has not fallen victim to over-development, meaning its charm and character has largely been retained.

According to the British Telegraph newspaper, the beach at Tamariu ranks as one of the best beaches on the Costa Brava. Embraced by pine-clad headlands, the horseshoe-shaped beach is very pretty, family-friendly and sheltered.

Just behind the beach is the pedestrian promenade, where there are some cafes, restaurants and beach gear shops. Parents can happily while away a little time in the shade, sipping whatever they fancy, with their children, only yards away from them, play safely on the sand.

It probably won’t be the first time you’ve heard of it, in this neck of the woods, but Tamariu was originally a small fishing village. It has definitely retained some of its charm and identity, and its beautiful south facing sandy bay offers a romantic destination for lovers. It’s also a good choice for families seeking a quieter Costa Brava resort.

The activity in the village will peak in August, but as yet there aren’t any English bars or breakfasts. Neither are their high-rise hotels on the landscape, only a blend of greens, blues and sandy shades with pretty whitewashed buildings in the foreground.

The villa is a lovely place for kids to hang out - teenagers and older children will love having their own space, while children of all ages will love swimming in the pool. The outdoors area all good to run around and play, will ensure many fun evenings!

The house is a beautiful family retreat in a quiet location but close to so many fun things to do together as a family, from exploring beaches to having dinner in the old town of Tamariu.

The town’s beach has fine sand and all the local amenities you could require, with boat rentals, restaurants and cafes within a few paces of the beach.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €1,000 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

Departure time 10 am
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. Please note that for stays less than 1 week, there will be a mandatory €100 supplement to pay via a link directly to the property manager. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen, bath and pool towels are included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? There is no internet connection in this property.
Minimum stay 7 nights
Changeover day Friday.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Not permitted.
Tax The tenants will need to pay a tourist tax of €0,90 per person per night for over 16's, not included in the rental price and will need to be paid prior arrival via a link direct to the supplier.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs Cot and high chair available under request for an extra cost of €40 per item per week.
Other Ts and Cs Please be aware that guests will receive a link from Oliver's Travels 2 weeks before arrival to pay the security deposit and tourist tax and to supply guest details. Once completed, guests will then be provided with directions, arrival information, and the property manager's details. Please advise us if you do not receive this link.
