Located a 20-minute walk from the Castell d'en Plaja and the beautiful Lloret de Mar beach, Villa Farigola offers a modern holiday home in a fantastic location. The area is hard to compete with, popular with both young people and families alike, with a vibrant nightlife and an array of fantastic restaurants and attractions to keep you entertained. Blending a rich history with a modern tourist culture, Lloret de Mar offers the best of both worlds, a gem on the Costa Brava coastline.

Boasting four bedrooms, open plan living areas and a spacious terrace, Villa Farigola offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. Two stories, with a large overhang on the upper floor and gold painted columns as support, and the architecture is quite striking. Glass windows wrap around the building reflecting the luscious scenery and softening the solid walls. Inside, the modern design makes for bright and spacious rooms, offering plenty of space for a group of eight guests. Both floors boast large entertaining areas, with an open plan kitchen, living and dining room on each. The kitchens are well-equipped, so you can prepare all your home-cooked favourites, maybe even taking inspiration from the local menus and ingredients at the markets! The ground floor living area offers views and accesses straight out to the pool, so you can meander in and out with ease, enjoying the flow of conversation between the inside and outside of the villa.

Within the villa, there are two double bedrooms upstairs, including a master suite. Downstairs, both bedrooms offer en-suite bathrooms with a double room and a twin room. The double bedroom has patio doors leading out to the terrace so you can wake up, swing open your doors and breathe in the fresh ocean air, characteristic of the Costa Brava.

Outside, Villa Farigola has a spacious terrace, equipped with sun loungers, outdoor dining space and a large built-in barbecue. The private swimming pool takes pride of place in front of the villa, enticing you to hop in and cool off! Villa Farigola is all about location, the villa offers a nice, modern base, with the luxury of two stunning beaches, a castle and an energetic town a short walk away!

What you should know…

  • Air conditioning and heating are an optional extra during your stay, they is an extra fee if you require them.
  • Although Castell d'en Plaja is beautiful to visit and to walk around, it is privately owned and there is no access inside the marked boundary.
  • The two closest beaches, Sa Caleta and Lloret de Mar may look sandy, but they are actually a mix of sand and small pebbles that can be more difficult to walk on.

Villa Farigola is a modern property, located in Lloret de Mar. Only 1.5 km from the beach and the centre of town and just 10km from the Medieval walled town of Tossa de Mar. With such a fantastic location we’re sure you will be out and about exploring from the moment you arrive. From water sports and boat trips to walking tracks and beaches, there is no end to the activities on offer.

Castell d'en Plaja, a landmark 1930s castle on the sea cliffs, hovers above Lloret de Mar Beach. Similar to a medieval fortress, you can walk straight from the villa to this picturesque castle, watching sunrise and sunset from cliffs. The castle is privately owned, so you can’t enter, but you can walk around enjoying the amazing views of the sea and cliffs. The summer months see the viewpoints busy with visitors, whilst in the winter it becomes one of the most peaceful places to sit and relax. The charm and character of the castle are juxtaposed by the modern hotels that line the nearby Lloret de Mar beach, so you can enjoy the relaxing nature of this clifftop hideaway, before heading down to the energetic beachfront for an evening of music and liveliness!

There are two beaches within walking distance of Villa Farigola. Sa Caleta beach is a smaller and quieter beach, with golden cliffs giving way to a stretch of sand that feeds into the crystal-clear sea. With the castle to one side, this small beach is picturesque. The water gets deep quickly, making it great for confident swimmers. The other nearby beach is the popular Lloret de Mar Beach. With plenty of facilities, including toilets and places to change, this scenic beach has everything you need. Shops, bars and places to eat line the shore, creating a buzz of activity and friendly energy with that rich holiday atmosphere we all love. You can book boat trips and water sports, and for the most adventurous certain on the beach, spots have become popular for cliff jumping – a real adrenaline rush!

Lloret de Mar itself is one of the most popular towns in the Costa Brava. The summer months see the streets alive with music, theatre and festivities, with plenty of families, couples and young people travelling to the town for its energetic atmosphere. The streets are lined with busy restaurants, colourful shops and quaint tapas bars, with plenty of opportunities to try delicious local food and beautiful Spanish wines!

Home to one of Europe’s biggest water parks, Lloret de Mar is understandably extremely popular with kids. Not to mention the large beaches, water sports, boat trips and welcoming restaurants that fill this energetic town!

Villa Farigola is a modern holiday home, with plenty of space for a family of eight. Split into two floors, with a living area on each, kids can enjoy all the alone time they desire, or if you have two families travelling together you can each have your own space. The twin bedroom on the first floor is well suited to younger children and a cot and highchair can be provided for an extra fee if you desire. The private pool is sure to be the most popular feature of the villa amongst children, large enough for them to splash and play for hours on end. There is no fence around the pool, so your youngest ones may need to be supervised, but with sun loungers and outdoor seating, it is an easy task.

There is little need to load kids in and out of a car when there are two beaches within walking distance of your front door! Sa Caleta and Lloret de Mar are both beautiful beaches, with a mix of sand and pebbles leading into clear blue seawater. With a blue-flag rating you can rest assured the water has fantastic environmental and quality standards and is thereby safe for kids to enjoy! At Sa Caleta the water gets deep quickly, so younger children may need some help, but Lloret de Mar offers shallower shores for little ones to play. Lloret de Mar also has plenty of opportunities to book boat trips and water sport adventures that kids are sure to love! The array of nearby restaurants and shops are very experienced with serving families, with plenty of menu options for kids to enjoy.

Of course, it is often Water World, the towns renowned water park that proves the most popular attraction amongst kids. With twenty water slides, pools and all sorts of exhilarating rides for your whole family to enjoy, there is a whole day of adventures to be had!

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €150 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time Between 4.30 - 8 pm
Departure time 10 am
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €130, payable to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Sheets and towels can be hired on site for an extra cost of €8 per person per week (paid locally).
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Not included in the rental price, extra 100€ per week, paid locally.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access not included in rental price, extra cost of €50 per week to be paid upon arrival.
Minimum stay 3 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Friday. All other days on request.
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of €35 per pet per week will apply (paid locally).
Smoking Allowed? Not permitted.
Tax Tourist Tax of €1 per person per day for over 16's is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid prior arrival via a link direct to the supplier.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs Cot and high chair available at an extra cost of €35 per item per week.
Other Ts and Cs Air conditioning available for an extra cost of €100 per week, paid locally.
Other Ts and Cs Groups of young people are not allowed on this property.
