Casa Florada is a beautiful modern home with stunning views of the valley descending into the sea. Located in the hills above Canyelles, the quiet neighbourhood offers a peaceful retreat to experience true relaxation from. The villa has three bedrooms for seven guests and has a private pool and fantastic outdoor spaces.
The villa's interior is modern and comfortable, large patio doors fill the communal spaces with natural light whilst framing the gorgeous sea views. The open plan living room and dining space is the real heart of the villa, the soft colour tones and warm wood furniture make it an inviting and cosy space to relax in. The living room has two large sofas for sinking into after a busy day of site seeing, with a big television and fireplace making the space even more comfortable. The rest of the open-plan room is filled by a large dining table; here you can enjoy delicious home-cooked meals as a group and discuss the next day’s plans. In the next room is the fully equipped kitchen, with space for a few helping hands why not try to recreate some of the local delicacies! A small dining table also provides the opportunity for grabbing a quick snack.
All three of the villa’s bedrooms are located on the first floor; there is the main bedroom, with its double bed, and two twin single bedrooms. The bedrooms are all simple in their design but offer lots of storage space, so there really is no need to pack light! The main bedroom is a particular treat, with access to a terrace where there is a stunning sea views and outdoor seating to enjoy it from. It is easy to imagine waking up to the sound of birdsong before stepping out to the gentle warmth of the morning sun as you take in the spectacular views.
Outside, the private pool is a fantastic addition, continue to enjoy the views whilst you cool down in the refreshing water. After a swim, relax on one of the sun loungers to dry off, then head to the outdoor lounge area. The outdoor lounge area is a wonderful spot to take in the setting sun, chat to your loved ones as you enjoy a cool glass of wine before a big group barbecue.

About the surrounding area of Casa FloradaCasa Florada is perched in the hills, looking down on the picturesque town of Canyelles. The quiet residential area provides plenty of tranquillity as you settle into your holiday whilst also being able to easily access the great facilities nearby. Less than ten minutes on foot, there is a supermarket that can provide the basics with a restaurant next door for when no one wants to do the dishes!
Canyelles has a wider range of restaurants to choose from, with fresh seafood and tapas the local favourites. It is also home to the nearest beach to Casa Florada, and you will not be disappointed. The sandy stretch of coast has beautiful crystal-clear waters and is a quieter destination than the popular beaches at Lloret de Mar. There are several fun activities available, with water sports very popular with visitors, kayaking and stand up paddleboards are fun ways to enjoy the serene waters so be sure to give them a go. A beachfront restaurant provides the perfect place for lunch, famed for its paella, there is no better way to enjoy a lazy day by the sea.
The nearby town of Lloret de Mar is a popular destination for those visiting the Costa Brava. With a wide range of eateries, gorgeous beaches and popular bars it is a fantastic place to visit. The town is particularly famous for its vibrant nightlife, with lots of bars and clubs open into the early morning hours it is great for those who want to dance the night away. If clubbing is not quite your thing, there is also a wide range of more intimate bars where you can enjoy a more romantic experience with your loved ones.
The dramatic coastline provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy some spectacular hikes. With paths following the coastline all along the region, it is a great way to spend the day. As you follow the sea, you can expect to find hidden coves and secluded beaches as you appreciate walking through the rugged terrain. Be sure to ask at the local tourist office about which sections of the coast are best for your abilities, and how to join the paths.

The villa’s twin bedrooms are ideally suited to kids; they are sure to love sharing as every night will be like a sleepover. The private pool is great for kids of all ages, pick up some inflatables from the local shop to add hours of fun for the kids. Older children may enjoy relaxing around the pool with a book in hand, dipping a toe in for a little cooldown. The outdoor dining area and barbecue are ideal for families to gather and enjoy spending quality time together over a big banquet! If the little ones ever need a little downtime after all the excitement, the living room with satellite television makes for the perfect chill-out place.
The beach at Canyelles has achieved a ‘Blue Flag’ status; this means the water is of the highest hygiene standard, meaning the kids can play safely in the shallow waters. An on-duty lifeguard provides further reassurance that it is an ideal beach for families to spend the day. There are a number of water sports available that children of all ages can enjoy. Older kids can try their hand at water skiing and maybe even parasailing, whilst the younger kids can share a pedal boat with an adult. With plenty of facilities also available at the beach, it is a fantastic way to spend the day.
The nearby water park is famous in the region and for a good reason. Water World has a wide range of rides suitable for families of all ages. There are gentle rides like the lazy river as well as high octane fast rides, ensuring the whole family can enjoy themselves. The popular attraction has excellent facilities to use throughout the day and is designed to make the day trip as easy and fun as possible. You can even bring a picnic to enjoy in the shade of the pine forest.
