Fabulous for families, Villa Alguer sits in the quaint fishing village of Callela de Palafrugell, near the hot spot holiday resort of Llafranc, on Spain's Mediterranean northeast coast. This two-storey, semi-detached, end-of-row villa has four spacious bedrooms. It can comfortably accommodate up to seven guests, ideal for a family holiday or sharing a group of friends. The property has a private garden in a small complex of five similar villas with a large shared swimming pool. The villa has classic whitewashed walls, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that open onto the lawn and let in lots of natural light. The interiors are modern, stylishly furnished with contemporary pieces, adorned with unique art, and decorated in a subtle palette of crisp, clean whites with muted colour contrast.
Enter the villa at the ground floor level, where you will be welcomed by a bright and breezy open-plan living space with doors that give access to the garden. There are two seating areas on each side of the villa, one with two comfy white sofas and a wooden coffee table facing an open hearth fire for those cosy evenings. The other has two built-in sofas with handy coffee tables facing a flat-screen smart television. The natural light wood and black worktop kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you will need to cater for your holiday, including that must-have morning coffee maker. The adjacent eight-seater wooden dining set is perfect for indoor entertaining. This level is complete with a guest cloakroom and a service room with a washing machine and shower. Take the stairs to the upper floor, where you will find the well-appointed bedrooms. The main bedroom has a large double bed and access to the garden view terrace. There is a bedroom with twin beds and two bedrooms with single beds, a great configuration for families. There are two bathrooms, with either bathtubs or showers, hand basins, and WCs. From the first floor, you can access the roof terrace, where you can sunbathe or meet for sunset cocktails at the golden hour.
Step outside with a well-maintained lawned garden with high fenced-in walls for your safety, privacy, and shade. Enjoy convivial meals at the outdoor dining set.
Walk through the communal garden to the shared pool and swim in the Spanish sunshine.

About the surrounding area of Villa AlguerVilla Alguer can be found in the quiet residential area of Callela de Palafrugell, near the resort town of Llafranc, on the Costa Brava northeast coast of Spain. Your holiday home is a scenic one hundred and forty-kilometre drive from the nearest international airport of Barcelona. The town centre is a short walk away, where you will find stores stocked with provisions for your stay and lots of welcoming cafes, bars, and restaurants.
The nearest beach is only four hundred metres away; within minutes, you can sunbathe on the sands of Llafranc. Swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters, and try your hand at jet skiing, paddleboarding and kayaking. All aboard for a lazy day at sea, discovering hidden coves and secret bays along the coast. Hike or bike the picturesque coastal paths to encounter the local flora, fauna, and stunning sea views.
See the historic sights, most notably the Sant Sebastia Lighthouse, the medieval town of Pals, and the ancient Greek and Roman ruins of Empuries.
Go further afield and see the mountaintop monastery of Monserrat, or spend the day in Barcelona admiring the Gaudi architecture, Guell Park, and the Miro Museum.
In the evening, stroll into town, sample cocktails in a local bar, and wine and dine by candlelight on the day's freshly caught fish at the seashore.
