The country cottage meets the sea view villa in the charming Casa Corronda, situated in the holiday hot spot resort of Llafranc on the Mediterranean Sea coast of northeast Spain. This three-storey detached house has six spacious bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to twelve guests, perfect for a large family holiday or a group of friends get-together. The villa is set on its grounds, surrounded by high walls for privacy, security, and shade, with lovely lawned gardens and your private swimming pool. The property is built out of local stone, with shuttered windows and commanding panoramic sea and mountain views. The interiors are cosy, with cool stone floors and wood timbered ceilings, furnished with rustic pieces, and decorated in a colour palette of clean white, with primary colour highlights of cardinal reds, sea blues, and sunshine yellow.

Enter the villa at the upper level, where you will be welcomed into your holiday home from home with a light and airy open plan living space, with access to a furnished sea view terrace. The seating area has two comfy sofas and two matching armchairs, worked around a coffee table, a flat-screen television, and an open-hearth fireplace for those cooler evenings. The adjacent eight-seater classic wood dining set under a unique chandelier is ideal for formal indoor entertaining.

The white and stainless-steel modern kitchen is fitted with all the appliances you will need to cater for your stay, including that must-have morning coffee maker. A small studio is available as a guard's sleeping quarters. The six well-appointed bedrooms are arranged over the three floors. The Main Bedroom has a large double bed, an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, and a furnished sea-view balcony. Two more bedrooms with double beds on the ensuite and three with twin beds, fabulous for family configurations. Two shared bathrooms have bathtubs and showers, and one has a handy washing machine,

Step outside onto the terrace and admire the view. Swim in the ladder-entry pool, sunbathe on the meticulously manicured lawn, or take an afternoon snooze on the sun loungers. As the sun sets, meet on the terrace for cocktails at the soft seating set, then feast alfresco with dishes fresh off the barbeque.

Casa Corronda can be found in the lovely resort town of Llafranc, on the Costa Brava, on the northeast coast of Spain. Your holiday home is a scenic one hundred and forty-kilometre drive from the nearest international airport of Barcelona. The town centre is a short walk away, where you will find stores stocked with provisions for your stay and lots of welcoming cafes, bars, and restaurants.

The nearest beach is only eight hundred metres from the casa; within minutes, you can sunbathe on the sands of Llafranc. Swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters, and try your hand at jet skiing, paddleboarding and kayaking. All aboard for a lazy day at sea, discovering hidden coves and secret bays along the coast. Hike or bike the picturesque coastal paths to encounter the local flora, fauna, and stunning sea views.

See the historic sights, most notably the nearby fishing village of Palafrugell, the Sant Sebastia Lighthouse, the medieval town of Pals, and the ancient Greek and Roman ruins of Empuries.

Go further afield and see the mountaintop monastery of Monserrat, or spend the day in Barcelona admiring the Gaudi architecture, Guell Park, and the Miro Museum.

In the evening, stroll into town, sample cocktails in a local bar and wine, and dine by candlelight on the day's freshly caught fish at the seashore.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €300 paid via bank transfer to the owner before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time Between 4:30 pm and 8 pm.
Departure time 10 am.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Pool towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €200, paid to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in the rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights during peak season. 5 nights all other times.
Changeover day Flexible.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & vaping are not permitted.
Pool heating charge? Not available.
