This colourful 6-room holiday house is only 5km from the sandy beach of ‘Sant Antoni de Calonge’. Make it your base for days out to the beach, golf course or waterpark – all of which are easily accessible. With a supermarket and local restaurant close by too, this is the most convenient of locations.
On the ground floor, you'll find a living/dining room with an fireplace and access to the terrace, and the large kitchen with all the amenities. There are also 3 bedrooms on this floor: one with a French bed and two with 2 single beds. Moving on up to the first floor, there's the main bedroom with it's large French bed. There are also two bathrooms on each floor for guests to use and a playroom with TV and a bar to chill out in.
Should you not wish to venture out stay right at home and chill out in the open-plan living and dining area, complete with beautiful open-hearth fireplace, satellite TV, hifi, Wi-FI and DVD player.
Bask in the sunshine from the a private pool just to the side of the covered terrace, surrounded by lushly landscaped gardens. Make use of the barbecue and enjoy days and evenings dining whenever you please whilst making the most of the warm weather.

About the surrounding area of Mas EncarnacionThe area of Catalonia extending north of Barcelona has no shortage of beach resorts and attractive coastal hideaways to uncover. Large towns such as Badalona and Mataro later give way to smaller but much-loved locations like Llafranc and Begur, giving this stretch of the Costa Brava a satisfying level of variety.
What lies inland is also positively rewarding. With a landscape dominated by mountainous regions like Montseny and the Cadiretes, it would be a shame not to take some time away from the beach to enjoy some incredible scenery either on foot or by bike. The latter area extends as far as the coast north of Tossa de Mar, offering the perfect opportunity to combine the two.
One of Catalonia's most impressive historic cities lies around 35 minutes drive north of here – Girona. Whether it's to view the Arab Baths, the record-breaking wide nave of the Catedral de Santa María or the coloured houses lining the River Onyar, you are assured of an inspiring visit. Girona is also home to Catalonia's largest urban park, Devesa, a wonderful green oasis in the heart of the city.
For something a little more rugged, the mountains of Montseny are a vast playground for hikers and climbers. Richly diverse in terms of both landscape and climate, this vast natural area is one of the region's must-sees. To the south, the smaller Parc del Montnegre i el Corredor offers a relaxing outdoor environment that's well suited to walking.
Along the coast to the east of this area, a number of attractive towns make for appealing excursions, such as Arenys de Mar with its eye-catching historic buildings and pretty harbour. North-west of Barcelona, the city of Terrassa provides an alternative angle on Catalonia. This important industrial city boasts some impressive architecture in the form of the Modernist Masia Freixa and Mercat de la Independència central market. It's National Museum of Science and Technology offers an intriguing overview of more recent developments.

Best Suited For: All AgesMas Encarnacion is a great villa for kids! Not only can it accommodate up to 8 guests (and an extra bed is available) there is also a swimming pool, table tennis, pool table, TV's and DVD's, and Wi-Fi. For sure the kids won't be bored.
The villa sits in Calonge, a remarkably diverse part of the region boasting an incredible Medieval village inland and a chunk of the coastal lines. Across the area, a trove of traditional restaurants can introduce little ones to the flavours and taste of Catalan and Spanish cuisine! Shops, stores and market stalls also allow you to purchase goods to take home with you or good to boost the fun and fulfilment of your getaway!
Before you head out to the beach or if you're looking for an alternative to the beach, yet still want some water, stop off at Aquadiver, in Platja d'Aro. Here families can have a wet and wild time, zooming, twisting and rushing down slides and amusements in this awesome water-park. Suitable for all ages, kids and adults will love the wave pools, rapid rivers and kamikaze rides and you don't have to worry about services as the park offers restaurants and bars, lockers, lounge, picnic and club areas as well as offering free bus transport! There's even more to amuse themselves with at Pp’s Park, where there is also Pitch’n’Putt and a multiplex cinema, to name but two.
For a big city experience, why not take them to Girona? Full of history and impressive buildings, it knows how to have fun too. Lovely Devesa Park is a wonderful chill-out spot, while Domeny Park gives them zip-wires, a climbing wall, table tennis and a skateboarding zone, as well as a play area for younger children.

The garden and the pool are great!
The house is exactly as described, very good quality, everything is there from silverware to pool table. Many toys for children available. It was very clean and tidy !! Overall, the house is a dream and top maintained. Gardener and pool service on site included. Maybe just a little information to the guests when gardeners and pool service are on the property. So you do not startle. The way to the sea by car was not a problem and easy to reach. The area is very pleasant overall. The booking in general and the key handover worked great! We would book the house again !!!!
