Located within walking distance of the beautiful Sa Riera Beach, this superb contemporary villa offers guests a peaceful sanctuary where they can relax and get away from the stresses of everyday life. This four-bedroom property sleeps up to eight guests comfortably, making it an ideal choice for a family, friends or multiple couples travelling together and wanting to experience what the beautiful Costa Brava has to offer. With stunning ocean views, contemporary features and a fantastic location, guests will want for nothing at Villa Hibisco.
Built on two levels, Villa Hibisco is the picture of modern design, featuring a spacious living/dining room with direct access to a large balcony with outdoor seating. There is also a fully equipped kitchen features plenty of prep space and state-of-the-art appliances, so whether you are an experienced chef or a novice beginner, this kitchen will suit everybody. There is also a spacious double bedroom with a fantastic balcony on this level, as well as a guest toilet. Sliding glass doors fill the entire property with light, providing a seamless blend between the interior and exterior, and commanding spectacular views of the Balearic Sea. The house is also southeast facing, which ensures it enjoys sun almost the entire day.
On the lower level, there is a master suite with its own dressing room and bathroom, as well as a double bedroom and separate shower room. There is also a separate guest study, with a double bedroom and shower room. Two of the bedrooms are set up with twin beds, providing a practical set up for families with children. Each of the spacious bedrooms have been stylishly designed, and all of the ground floor bedrooms have direct access to the garden and the swimming pool.
The captivating hillside views at Villa Hibisco are utterly gorgeous; surrounded by mountains and greenery, guests will feel like the only people on earth. There is a lovely furnished terrace area, perfect for getting together with the family that can be accessed directly from the ground floor of the house. A few steps below the terrace area is a sparkling blue pool, as well as a sundeck with comfortable sun loungers for guests to relax on. The beautifully manicured gardens feature mature shrubs and trees, including local Mediterranean flowers, lavender, Olive trees, oleanders, and fruit trees. On the roof of the house, there is an additional solarium chill out area and BBQ terrace for guests to prepare and enjoy delicious alfresco meals whilst enjoying the panoramic views. The peaceful surroundings, stylish interiors and incredible facilities make this villa the perfect spot for a memorable family holiday. With the beautiful beach of Sa Riera within a few minutes’ stroll, as well as the bustling town of Begur just a ten-minute drive away, there will be something for everyone at Villa Hibisco.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa HibiscoLocated within walking distance of Sa Riera beach, Villa Hibisco enjoys a fantastic and peaceful location. Widely regarded as one of the most stunning beaches in Costa Brava, guests can snorkel to their hearts’ content, or hire a boat and visit some of the nearby coves for a change of scenery. The beaches of Aiguafreda and Sa Tuna are also just a stone’s throw away. There are also plenty of lovely restaurants on the beach, where guests can enjoy delicious seafood and potter about the charming village shops.
Just a short drive away is Begur, a hidden gem of the ever-popular Costa Brava; this town has a reputation as a stylish holiday choice, with a wide range of quality restaurants and shops, all offering a taste of sophisticated Spain. Begur has become very popular with the Spanish, many of whom travel from the city of Barcelona, which, if you feel like stretching your legs is located just 1-hour North of Begur! Located around 50 minutes drive from the stunning city of Girona (50 km) or 90 minutes (131 km) from the ever-buzzing Barcelona, Begur offers a fantastic location for all.
Begur is overflowing with Spanish charm and has a plethora of things to do from fantastic local eateries and restaurants to boutique shopping and much more. There are of course the ruins of the Castell de Begur which makes for an interesting hike. Begur is conveniently located within a slew of local Spanish towns and villages giving families and explorers plenty of things to do.
If history is your passion, then perhaps the nearby villages of Regencos and Púbol will interest you. They are both oozing with medieval architecture, especially Púbol which is home to many landmarks associated with Salvador Dalí, including the ruins of the castle that he gifted to his Russian wife, Gala. Begur is also local to many golf courses, two of which are located within 10km of the village.
Begur is known for having a good nightlife, with certain areas of the town having popular cocktail bars and nightclubs which is ideal for those who enjoy letting their hair down. Furthermore, for children and those adults who are young at heart there is a water theme-park in Begur called Platja d’Aro; packed with fun slides and flumes! Also, it is only an hour’s drive from Girona-Costa Brava Airport, so getting there could not be any easier!

Best Suited For: All AgesTwo of the bedrooms are set up with twin beds, providing a practical set up for families with children. The private infinity pool will provide hours of splash-filled fun, and the proximity to Sa Riera beach is also a brilliant feature. Various boating excursions are also on offer at the nearby beaches of Aiguafreda and Sa Tuna, where guests can visit the nearby coves and snorkel in the crystal clear waters. For the water babies, it’s a great spot for diving, and there are a few dive centres to be found in the area. Alternatively, the local water-park, Platja d’Aro, would also go down a treat with the kids!
For art lovers, Salvador Gala Dalí Castle House is around 30km away in Púbol, and in Figueres (58km) you can visit the Dalí Museum (To see more about the Dali Triangle click on the link here for Dalínese triangle, and go further down on the page to see the feature). A bit further away in Céret, is the Museum of Modern Art (Musée d’Art Moderne) where you can see the works of Matisse and Picasso.
Begur Castle is also well worth a visit for children; In 1607 the castle’s owners sold the rights to the town. During the 20th century restoration work was undertaken, and this means that what you see today has had delicate work done to it. This work has also enabled people with limited mobility and wheelchairs to visit the castle.
Another gorgeous Costa Brava town, Palafrugell, is only 7km away, where apart from seeing the town and its lovely beaches, you can also go to the colourful Sunday morning market, or the daily market. Palafrugell also has quite a few good deli shops, plus Lidl and Carrefour, so it can be a good place to get stocked up, for those of you who are planning to rent an apartment or villa.

| End of stay cleaning included? | Extra €200, payable to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival.
