A modern and prestigious villa located in the bustling region of Begur, Villa Bonadona is the ideal luxury getaway. The exterior of this property is undeniably stunning, with a large private swimming pool sitting front and centre. This widespread pool is surrounded by minimalist wooden decking, helping to amplify the attractive style choices seen throughout the property. Opposite the pool is a perfectly manicured lawn area, making this space suitable for playing games or just for simply relaxing in the sun. The exterior of Villa Bonadona is also home to the two outdoor terrace areas. These spaces are made for exciting outdoor dining experiences or for just gazing out at the spectacular sea views.
Inside the property, there is a sleek and modern lounge/dining area. The lounge area offers everything a family would need, including a large TV, multiple seating arrangements, and a coffee table in the middle of the room. The white walls further accentuate the traditional beauty of the wooden furnishings, helping to create a simple yet cohesive environment. A large wooden dining table is placed opposite the living area. In turn, this helps to create a more communal feel and ensures that guests can enjoy some quality time together all in one room. Villa Bonadona also includes an immersive kitchen stocked with all of the necessary utensils and equipment. As such, guests are free to cook meals at their own pace and do not have to worry about finding amenities.
Villa Bonadona includes three beautiful bedrooms, making it suitable for up to eight people. The master bedroom includes a spacious double bed as well as a fashionable mirrored wardrobe. Thus, guests have the chance to sleep in both style and luxury. Additionally, this bedroom also has access to an opulent en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom also includes a large double bed, making it perfect for older children or couples. The design of this room is incredibly simple, with just a few unique pieces of art to truly amplify the whole room. Finally, the third bedroom makes use of two sets of bunk beds, allowing four children to sleep in one room. Each bed is fitted with high-quality linens ensuring that each child enjoys a peaceful and comfortable night’s sleep.

Begur offers a plethora of historical landmarks for guests to enjoy. For example, just a 12-minute walk from the centre of Begur is the Parish of Sant Pere and Santa Reparada. This 17th-century church still maintains its rich beauty, attracting tourists from around the globe. Guests are encouraged to take in the outstanding sight of the Madonna and Child statue, an iconic piece of art that was sculpted by Francesc Facula in 1985. This beautiful church is considered to be a centrepiece within Begur and is used to hold local markets and has even been used in multiple filming locations.
If you are looking to discover more about Begur’s far-reaching history, then multiple sightseeing tours are available. One of the tours, known as ‘Route Through The Towers of Begur’, is a 2-hour walking tour that guides tourists through the many battle towers seen in this town. The tour begins outside the Tower of Can Pella i Forgas, which is less than a 10-minute walk away from the centre of Begur. From here, you will travel up and down the region, discovering landmarks such as the Tower of Ca n’Armanac and the Tower of Can Marques. The Dali-Theatre Museum is also a popular attraction within Costa Brava, allowing fans of surrealist art to discover the prestigious work of Salvador Dali. This captivating museum is located in Dali’s hometown of Figueres, which is less than an hour away from the town centre of Begur. The Dali-Theatre Museum makes use of an old theatre building, using a stage in the centre of one of the rooms. This ornate stage leads down to a crypt where Dali himself was laid to rest. Guests are encouraged to visit the crypt and pay their respects. The museum also collates a selection of Dali’s most famous work, including his portraits and classical jewellery. The Marimurta Botanical Gardens is an ideal attraction for children, allowing them to roam free and uncover the rich horticulture that resides in Costa Brava. This superb landmark is located in Blanes, which is around an hour’s drive away from Begur. The Marimurta Botanical Garden is a passion project from the renowned Carl Faust, a business owner who created the gardens in 1897. Since then, the Carl Faust Foundation has been caring for the land and allows 4,000 plant species from five different continents to co-exist. In 2009, the gardens were officially classified as a Cultural Asset of National Interest, attracting around 100,000 tourists per year. This is a very peaceful and serene location, and general admission tickets cost just €7 each and children under four can enter for free.
For children looking to try out a new sport, Lloret Pitch & Putt is the perfect place to learn the basic practices of golf. This popular golf course is in Lloret forest, which is around an hour away from Begur. Here, families will have the chance to play 18 holes in a rich green oasis underneath the warming Spanish sun. The knowledgeable and expert staff can help to guide you and teach you how to take that perfect shot. Guests can also rent specialised equipment from this facility to help them work their way around this expansive course. Prices are very reasonable, ranging from €15-€20 per person.
