Situated in between the towns of Benissa and Moraira on the Costa Blanca sits this spacious three-bedroom villa. Spread over two storeys, the floors are connected by an exterior stairway making it an ideal holiday home for a group of friends or two families who want their own self-contained units.
The interiors are unfussy and cool with almost every room drenched in light from windows or glass doors. On the ground floor, pristine white walls and tiled flooring sweep through the open-plan living area, making it a tranquil space. In the lounge, relax with a film on the television or rustle up a delicious meal in the neat kitchen, then serve it at the casual table with seating for four people. The more energetic can afterwards work up a sweat in the separate gymnasium. Off from the living area, there is a light and breezy double bedroom with air conditioning and a pristine bathroom.
From the ground floor, exterior stairs sweep up to the first floor and a larger open-plan living room. A white arch leads through to a light-filled lounge where a huge corner sofa takes centre stage. It's the perfect room for everyone to socialise and relax while contemplating the views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Should you need to catch up on work, there's also an office space. From the lounge, terracotta flooring and more arches lead through to a spacious dining room. Prepare memorable meals in the well-equipped kitchen, then serve at the sociable table seating eight people or step out onto the sunny terrace and dine al fresco. The bedrooms are located off the living area and feature a double bed and twin beds. Both rooms are pretty and uncluttered and share an immaculate bathroom.
Back on ground level, steps lead down to an attractive pool and barbeque area. Spend the day bopping in the water, topping up your tan on a lounger or escaping the heat of the day and relaxing on the shady garden sofa. Villa Theanissa is located in a residential area close to a restaurant and the rocky beach, Cala Advocat. From the villa, it's a 10-minute drive to Benissa's old town, where you'll find a selection of supermarkets, shops and boutiques.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa TheanissaVilla Theanissa is located between Benissa and Moraira, small towns surrounded by mountains and boasting some of the Costa Blanca's most beautiful coves. From the property, it's less than a 5-minute walk to the local restaurant and 15 minutes to the rocky beach, Cala Advocat. The crystal clear waters make this beach a good spot for snorkelling, and afterwards, you can enjoy a drink and snack at the chiringuito. But if you want to feel the sand between your toes, make the 10-minute drive to Playa de la Fustera. Here you can swim in the sea, rent a kayak or try your hand at paddle boarding.
Alternatively, jump on the Paseo Ecologico eco trail and enjoy a beautiful 5.5 km coastal walk from Benissa to Calpe. Along the way, be sure to stop at one of the many beachside bars and enjoy a cool drink before taking a dip in the calm waters. In Calpe, walk around the famous rock (Penon de Ifach), or if you're feeling energetic, scale the 332m-high summit. It's an arduous walk, but at the top, you'll be rewarded with spectacular sea views, and on a clear day, you'll be able to see the island of Ibiza.
Back in Benissa, golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the nine-hole Ifach golf course (roughly 10 minutes away), while tennis lovers can hit a ball at the local tennis courts. Alternatively, explore Benissa's old town with its Renaissance palace houses, stately homes and neo-Gothic cathedral. The neighbouring seaside resort of Moraira is also worth a visit and is less than a 10-minute drive away. Head to the excellent sandy beach, Platja de l'Ampolla and enjoy a swim, then take a stroll along the promenade and stop for a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants or bars. A small but charming 18th-century castle (Castillo de Moraira) overlooks the beach and is easy to reach. At the fortress, learn more about the castle's history of defending the coastline against attacks from pirates.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Theanissa is a great choice for any family with plenty of space both inside and out. Children will love having two spacious living areas, and they can relax in their own space and watch their favourite programmes on the TV. But when the sun is out, kids will want to spend the day splashing in the outdoor swimming pool, relaxing on a sun lounger, or simply lounging on the outdoor sofa with ice cream. Older children can also keep active in the fitness room with its modern gym equipment. A shady terrace and a barbeque area mean family meals can be enjoyed al fresco by the pool, while the first-floor terrace is the perfect place to watch the sun dip below the horizon before the stars light up the sky.
For a day at the beach, pack the swim things and stroll to Cala Advocat. It's a small, pebbly beach, but its crystal clear waters make it the perfect spot for snorkelling. But if you want to feel the sand between your toes, it's a 5-minute drive to the beach; Playa de La Fustera is a family-friendly beach, and its calm waters make it a safe place to swim in the sea. Older children can also try their hand at paddle boarding and kayaking.
Afterwards, pick up the Paseo Ecologico eco trail and enjoy a walk along the coastal path to Calpe, discovering hidden coves along the way. In Calpe, enjoy a bite to eat down by the harbour and be sure to visit the Lonja Market, where you can see fresh fish being auctioned off. Older children can also explore the seabed at nearby Raco cove. This cove offers an underwater diving trail, and kids will love spotting groupers, eels and crabs. For water parks and zoos, head to Benidorm, a 30-minute drive from the villa. Kids can spend the day whizzing down water slides at Aqualandia or meeting lions, elephants and giraffes at Terra Natura Zoo.
