Perched on the hillside in the charming village of Orba, this lovely Spanish villa offers the perfect place to unwind in the sun and enjoy a relaxed break with family and friends.

Nestled within the leafy pines of the sloped landscape, Villa Mansenida occupies an exclusive position, with lush plants enclosing the property to give a sense of privacy, whilst fantastic panoramic views extend out to the distant mountains. Arranged on two levels, the villa has a classic Spanish feel, with arched openings, a series of patios and a sunny yellow facade that warmly greets you on arrival.

The rooms are light and airy, with colourful artwork and comfortable furnishings that make you feel at home. A neat kitchen sits to one end of the living room, whilst to the other, a large L-shape sofa invites you to relax with a book or curl up in front of the TV. Stepping outside, a charming covered area features a large outdoor dining table, perfect for sharing leisurely meals whilst admiring the glorious views over the surrounding landscape.

Further along the patio, sun loungers offer the perfect sport to unwind and enjoy an afternoon siesta or head down to the pool level to enjoy a refreshing swim before drying off beneath the warm Mediterranean sun. Beside the pool, there is also a tiled nook that features a neat outdoor kitchen that is convenient for preparing a poolside snack, whilst the barbecue invites you to take advantage of the warm evenings and entertain guests with a devious feast beneath the stars.  

There are four bedrooms, three of which feature double beds, whilst a fourth has two singles. All of the rooms have been thoughtfully decorated with plenty of storage and warm splashes of colour, and several of them also open onto the upper terrace, inviting guests to wake up and enjoy the spectacular views. There are two bathrooms to be shared, giving guests the choice of a shower or indulging in a relaxing bath at the end of the day.

Located in the hillside village of Orba, Villa Mansenida is just a short walk from local amenities and several charming neighbourhood restaurants where you can enjoy traditional cuisine. Just 15 minutes by car, the colourful town of Pedreguer invites you to explore its winding streets and discover the impressive market square with cast-iron pillars and Arabic tiled roof. These days, a market is held every Sunday, and you can browse the stalls for local produce and sample some of the tasty regional specialities. For a more hearty meal, head to Taberna Antigua, where you can enjoy delicious plates and a relaxed atmosphere whilst tucked in the town center, Brou is a wonderful little restaurant serving up an innovative menu of classical dishes, as well as a good selection of wines. Other wonderful towns nearby are Jalon and Ondara, with plenty of shops and restaurants to visit during your trip.

Beyond Pedreguer, the Montgo Natural Park is the perfect place to spend the day in nature, exploring the countryside and enjoying an outdoor adventure. Stretching down to the coast, the beautiful parkland has a variety of trails to discover, and you can hike up to the summit or wander through the foothills looking out for the diverse wildlife and incredible variety of plants. For garden enthusiasts, on the other side of the mountain, the beautiful Jardin de l’Albarda is immaculately kept, and you can wander through the impressive gardens to see charming pergolas, water fountains and a handful of pavilions built in varying architectural styles.

With the coastline just 30 minutes away, it is easy to spend the day beside the sea, and there are numerous sandy bays and picturesque coves to discover. Javea’s main beach, Playa L'Arenal, is a great spot for families, with a long stretch of golden sand and several options to try out water sports. The beach also has good public facilities, as well as a number of chiringuitos where you can stop off for a tasty midday snack. Further along the coast, Cala del Portixol is a lovely shell-shaped bay protected by the Cap Negre headland. The pebble beach boasts clear turquoise waters, perfect for snorkelling, whilst charming white and blue ‘barracks’ (old fisherman’s houses) line the back of the beach. Enjoy a relaxing day soaking up the peaceful surroundings, or hire a kayak and paddle out to explore the rocky inlets and rugged cliffs.

With its cosy layout and multiple terraces, Villa Mansenida is an excellent spot to spend a relaxing break with the whole family. The central living room features a large sofa, perfect for curling up in front of a movie, whilst outside, the dining table invites you to share memorable family dinners with spectacular views in the background. On the lower terrace, kids will love to splash around and play in the pool and a series of sun loungers nearby are the perfect place for onlooking parents.

The local village of Orba has a laid-back feel, with several restaurants and cafés where you can wander for an afternoon ice cream. Just a short drive away, the Montgo Natural Park has a large selection of trails suitable to all abilities, or head down to the coast to enjoy a day on one of Costa Blanca’s idyllic beaches. Playa de l’Arenal is a great option for families, and young children can enjoy building sandcastles or paddling in the shallow water. The beach also has a number of water sports centres where you can hire a kayak or whizz around the bay on a flying inflatable.

Security deposit €500 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

    The location was perfect for us seeing family friends. The ease of access on arrival was great. The views from the terrace are outstanding Mountain View’s. Very clean and comfortable with a great space. The pool was kept well and maintained well during our visit. Village supermarket has everything you need but if you wanted more the local shopping mall in 15mins drive down the road… The only thing I’d have to say was some of the pool tiles kept popping off which we had to collect but the kids loved doing that with their goggles. Became a little game. We mentioned it to the contact and they are aware that extra maintenance will be needed.
