Casa Cue is a beautiful, traditional-style villa situated in a stunning rural location just five minutes from the town of Llanes. Accommodating up to eight guests across four sumptuous bedrooms, this charming villa offers everything you’ll need to enjoy a relaxing and memorable holiday in the heart of Asturias.

The ground floor features a light and spacious interior with a soft, neutral decor. Exposed ceiling beams and an open wooden staircase provide a warm, rustic touch, and stylish soft furnishings, beautifully crafted furniture and fireplace all add to Casa Cue’s luxurious, country-cottage style vibe. The villa features an ample dining area with a table and seating for up to eight guests, large windows allowing in plenty of natural light, and contemporary lighting fixtures which add class and sophistication to the property’s cosy and welcoming interior.

There is a bright, spacious, well-equipped kitchen offering views over the gardens, as well as everything you’ll need to prepare meals during your stay. Amenities include an oven and induction hob, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a smaller table and seating area - the ideal place to enjoy a quiet morning cuppa while you plan the day ahead.

Casa Cue features a ground floor shower and a double bedroom, with another double bedroom with ensuite on the first floor, along with two twin bedrooms and another bathroom. Each bedroom features the same fresh, light decor as the rest of the villa, and the bathrooms are modern and stylish.

The villa has an extensive garden, enclosed by a hedge for privacy and peace of mind, making it an ideal space for kids to play while the grown-ups chill out! A pretty porch area provides welcome shade as well as a table and seating for alfresco dining or entertaining, so why not fire up the barbecue, crack open some of the local speciality cider, and enjoy good food and good company into the evening. Casa Cue also has garden sun loungers for you to use during your stay - perfect for relaxing with a good book or simply taking in your surroundings while enjoying the Mediterranean sunshine.

Casa Cue is situated just five minutes from the popular destination town of Llanes, and just a few kilometres from some of the region’s most beautiful beaches, including Antilles, Ballota and Andrin.

Also known as 'Cue beach', Antilles is a small, safe beach of fine white sand and rocky surrounds. At high tide, the beach looks like a natural pool, protected from the open sea and with hardly any waves, making it quite a hit with families, although please be aware that the beach isn't easily accessible to those with reduced mobility. The beach is rarely crowded and is a favourite spot for those who want to fish or scuba dive.

Andrin and Ballota beaches are separated by a scenic viewpoint, with Ballota often referred to as the quieter of the two 'sisters'. This beautiful beach boasts calm waters with little swell and white sands, but at high tide, the sand is almost completely covered, leaving just a pebble beach. Andrin is certainly the more 'boisterous' of the two, with strong waves that make it a popular spot for surfing rather than swimming. The sands are vast and clean, and there are amenities such as a bar/restaurant and ice cream kiosks nearby, so it's a great spot to go with the kids and spend the whole day.

Llanes is just a short distance from Casa Cue, so be sure to immerse yourself in the Asturian culture during your stay by enjoying the many fiestas that are celebrated in the town and the surrounding areas. With gastronomic festivals as well as religious fiestas taking place in the region, Llanes is a foodies' dream and a fantastic place for sampling some Asturian cuisine which is often rich in seafood, including squid, crab, lobster, mullet, scorpionfish, and anchovies. Cheese is also a staple of the region's cooking, with soft creamy queso de Vidiago, smoked Ahumado de Pria, and delicious goat's cheeses such la Cuevona forming part of the delicious recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. We recommend you sample some Fabada while you're here (a cassoulet-type stew), as well as tortos served with picadillo and fried eggs - and make sure you wash it all down with a glass of local cider poured from a great height in the traditional way!

Casa Cue provides a wonderfully family-friendly environment for your Asturian holiday. There is a staircase to the first floor that could potentially be a hazard for very young children who aren't steady on their feet yet, but other than that, the villa offers a lovely home-from-home feel that kids of all ages will enjoy. There's a flat-screen TV in the living area to entertain them while you get ready for your day, and there are two twin rooms - making it an ideal accommodation for larger families. It's important to note that one of the two double bedrooms is on the ground floor, so if two families were staying together with their respective children, one family would be split and sleeping on separate floors - perhaps only an issue to consider for very young children who might need to be tended to at night.

The villa's gardens are spacious and well-looked after, offering plenty of space for the kids to play, and a covered outdoor dining area means that the whole family can eat alfresco out of the sun.

There are some wonderful beaches just a short distance from the villa, most of which are sandy with clear, calm waters and a decent amount of amenities on offer. If you choose to travel into nearby Llanes with the kids, you'll find activities to enjoy, such as watersports, horse-riding and quad biking, as well as some wonderful hiking trails through the forests and mountains and plenty of coastal caves to explore. Llanes also features two incredibly unique interior beaches that have no seashore, Cobijeru and Gulpiyuri - both of which have been declared natural monuments. The seawater makes its way through tiny tunnels in the limestone cliffs to these unusual beaches, and both make wonderful picnic spots for families who are holidaying with small children.

It can often be a challenge finding somewhere to eat out with the kids while on holiday, but Llanes is simply bursting with eateries and restaurants to suit all tastes; from tapas to corn tortos with a variety of delicious fillings, seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes - finding something to suit even the fussiest of young palates should be a breeze.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €400 charged to client’s credit card by the owner upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 5 pm. There is the possibility of a different arrival time, but only with prior agreement from the owner at least 3 days before arrival.
Departure time 11 am. There is the possibility of a late departure time, only during the off-peak seasons and with prior agreement from the owner.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Beach towels included? Not available.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is included in rental price. It is good to note that the speed is dependent on the local provider and technical issues may cause reduced speed or cut of service.
Minimum stay 5-7 nights during June to mid-September. 4 nights during the Christmas period. 2-3 nights during other periods.
Changeover day Flexible.
