The villa comes complete with seven air-conditioned bedrooms fit to accommodate up to 12 people. Five of these bedrooms are doubles opening to a large deck with ocean-views, and three of which boast an ensuite. An additional two bedrooms feature single bedrooms, while a small studio contains sleeper couches ideal for two children. An additional small kitchenette makes mornings easy when it comes to breakfast preparation.

A standout feature on the second floor is the expansive terrace (one of three separate decks), where guests can unwind in the plunge pool or soak up the African sun on the luxurious loungers. The outdoor areas extend to a meticulously landscaped garden and a barbecue area, perfect for al fresco dining under the African sky. A heated splash pool right in front of the sea completes the scene, ensuring stunning photos and unforgettable memories.

Batavia House is stunningly located on the cape’s western coastline with unrivalled access to Blouberg Beach (simply step off the private patio!). The beachfront has a lot of fun on offer, including kite surfing, kayaking, beach walks and the gem that is the West Coast National Park running north up the cape.
For those seeking a more cosmopolitan taste of Cape Town's renowned culinary and entertainment scene, the bustling V&A Waterfront (27-minute drive) is a kaleidoscope of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. Close by is the bustling city centre (32-minute drive) and everything it has on offer, including the Iziko South African Museum, The South African National Gallery and Castle of Good Hope.

For those who like to swing the irons while on holiday, have no fear. The Milnerton Golf club and its unbeatable coastal setting is a short 17-minute drive away along the shore.

So, while the kids are enjoying the unparalleled bliss of sandcastles and bounding about in rolling surf, the parents can watch from over the rim of a glass of local wine. 

For a more cultured experience, the heart of Cape Town is close at hand (28-minute drive). Dive into the immersive galleries and museums. Or explore the lively V&A Waterfront (31-minute drive).

Take a scenic drive through the nature reserve to the Cape Town Ostrich Ranch (26-minute drive), where the kids can see and interact with these large and unique birds. 

And for a full day of water-based fun, the Milnerton Waterpark (10-minute drive) is a fantastic family water park full of pools and slides.
