The stunning village boasts twenty contemporary lodges, interwoven with wooden pathways and thermal streams. Evelin Lodge features a private hot tub directly outside the terrace, where you can completely relax at any time of day, from the bright and sunny morning to the starry night. The lodge’s covered terrace provides comfortable outdoor seating, where you can enjoy a glass of wine from the nearby Posavje region at sunset.
Guests will be charmed by Evelin Lodge’s contemporary interior living space, featuring a simple dining area and a well-appointed kitchenette with a coffee machine. Behind the kitchenette, there is a compact en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The space also features a cosy double bed with a flatscreen TV, where you can relax in peace and tranquility after a day spent exploring the wonders of Podčetrtek.
Ascending a quirky feature ladder, guests will reach the lodge’s mezzanine space, featuring another double bed and a lofted ceiling, creating a welcoming ambience. Once the stars have come out, Evelin Lodge becomes a warm and cosy haven, with soft lighting, central heating and air-conditioning throughout.

About the surrounding area of Evelin LodgeEvelin Lodge is ideally situated to make the most of all that the luxurious Terme Olimia resort and the beautiful rural area of Podčetrtek have to offer. Podčetrtek lies along the dazzling Sotla river, very close to the border between Slovenia and Croatia. The scenic river provides the perfect natural backdrop to the many wonderful facilities at the Adria Olimia glamping village. Should you wish to discover more of this region, there is plenty to explore!
After a few days of complete relaxation, you may wish to take off for an invigorating walk in the countryside. History enthusiasts should make their way to the Olimje Minorite Monastery, an exquisite Baroque church that is also home to a wonderful apothecary. Here, visitors can admire the monastery’s fragrant herbal gardens or sit by the ponds and enjoy the tranquil beauty of this peaceful haven.
Meanwhile, the pretty town of Olimje is a charming place to visit for a glimpse into the relaxed pace of life this wonderful region offers. Wander the beautiful streets before stopping off to try some of the mouthwatering delicacies created at the town’s boutique chocolate factory, which leaves Olimje smelling good enough to eat! You can also play a round of golf at a local hotel, before visiting the town’s craft brewery to sample some Slovenian beers over a leisurely lunch in the afternoon sunshine.
Spend a sunny afternoon strolling along the verdant banks of the River Sotla or hop in the car to visit Kozjankso Regional Park, only a twenty-five minute drive away. This protected park is home to vast stretches of meadows and orchards, as well as rare bird species and the imposing Podsreda Castle. The lovely Kozjansko Apple Festival takes place every year in October and celebrates the region’s close connection with its land.
For a day trip slightly further afield, drive for an hour and a half to reach Slovenia’s fairytale capital city. Wander the cobbled streets of Ljubljana’s Old Town and stop for a coffee before soaking up the atmosphere at one of the city’s outdoor markets. Cultural highlights include the National Museum of Slovenia and the Museum of Modern Art and the impressive Ljubljana Castle with its striking position overlooking the city.
Make your way back to Evelin Lodge in time to spend the evening relaxing in the revitalising waters of Terme Tuhelj or Terme Olimia, letting the day’s adventures slowly melt away. After a delightful dinner, return to your peaceful lodge for a glass of wine and an evening of stargazing by the warm glow of the fire.

Younger visitors in particular will be enchanted by the lodge’s warm and cosy interior space, where they will love snuggling up after a day spent enjoying the water at Aqualuna or exploring the wonders of the surrounding area.
At Aqualuna, kids will be in waterpark heaven! Boasting a variety of fun themes, children will enjoy splashing and sliding through the waves with pirates and exotic animals on board. The water park is surrounded by lush greenery and offers hours of endless entertainment. The hardest part will be convincing younger visitors to leave.
A unique wellness centre and thermal spa for the whole family is also available at Family Wellness Termalija. Here, there are shallow waters for little feet to paddle in and slides and exciting climbing walls with waterfalls for older children to enjoy. Parents can relax in the excellent spa and sauna facilities while the kids explore designated play areas full of fun activities, including wave pools, a 7D movie theatre and a cute sandbox for little ones. Later, a live show at the amphitheater is bound to keep everyone smiling.
Away from the fun and games provided by the thermal springs, kids will enjoy a visit to Olimje’s magical chocolate factory and a day out in the stunning natural beauty of Kozjankso Regional Park. The whole family will be enchanted by a day trip to the fairytale city of Ljubljana, where you can take the funicular to the city’s imposing castle and wander through the history exhibition inside, home to entertaining interactive games. I highly recommend it
This is, by far, one of the best Spas I've had the luck to visit. Two zones, one for the families, the other for adults. An endless varieties of saunas, steam baths, Zen resting area, warm and cold pools,etc, are just some of the amenities. Very clean and kind personnel are am extra bonus
