Overview
Villa Alma Vista is a beautiful, ultra-modern villa featuring two bedrooms, a wine cellar, and a private swimming pool and wellness centre. Situated on the Edi Simčič estate, a vineyard well known for producing exceptional wines within the Brda tradition, the villa lies on the grounds of an old farmhouse. Villa Alma Vista’s sleek yet characterful décor contrasts the estate’s tranquil vineyard setting, where you will be sure to find yourself enchanted by the serene natural beauty surrounding you.
Each morning, the warm Mediterranean breeze will draw you outside to take a dip in your own private swimming pool. You can admire the views of the Brda region’s rolling hills and countryside from the sun-soaked wooden terrace. You will also find plenty of sun loungers, a covered seating area and an open firepit for cooking. The villa’s peaceful garden is perfect for enjoying a good book in the shade. The garden also provides guests with an informal dining space where they can linger over a glass of local wine from sunset until the stars come out.
Villa Alma Vista’s ground floor features an ample, open-plan living space with plenty of natural light. A fully equipped kitchen provides you with everything you need to create a memorable meal at home, while the dining area is large enough for everyone to gather together and discuss the day’s adventures. This area flows seamlessly into the villa’s tastefully furnished lounge, where a comfortable corner sofa and a flat-screen TV with a sound system make for the ideal spot to enjoy a movie night at home.
Upstairs, the villa features two spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and contemporary furnishings. The hallway includes an extensive library, while the idyllic views from the first-floor balcony stretch to the Adriatic Sea. Each bedroom features a gallery which can be accessed by stairs, furnished with a double bed, where guests will be sure to enjoy the bright morning light and the restful atmosphere. There is a walk-in shower located in each of the modern bathrooms. Both bedrooms provide guests a private lounge space decorated with striking art by emerging local artists. The villa is filled with unique design touches, nodding to the creativity of the region’s people and the beauty of the Brda landscape.
Villa Alma Vista’s spa and wellness centre provide an added touch of luxury. With an infrared sauna, a jacuzzi and a relaxation area, this is a private oasis where guests can completely unwind after a day exploring the countryside by bike or on foot.
In the basement, the villa’s private wine cellar will tempt guests with homemade products, locally produced olive oils and a carefully curated selection of the Edi Simčič estate’s own wines. Visitors may also wish to arrange a guided tour of the cellars beneath the Simčič household located on the estate. Here, you will taste a selection of fantastic Slovenian wines from small vineyards around the country, accompanied by local cheeses and olive oils.
