The upper level of the chalet provides guests with a stunning outdoor terrace overlooking the picturesque valley below, with views stretching towards Avoriaz. Here, you can sip a freshly brewed coffee in the morning sunshine or relax under the starry night sky while enjoying the private jacuzzi. The outdoor lounge area is the ideal spot for a private après-ski experience of your own, with beautiful views of Morzine at sunset. Inside, guests will find a private bar, a pool table and two lounge areas bathed in the warm glow of a central fireplace.
A wooden staircase leads down to the third level of Chalet Cress, where there is another delightful living space, featuring a spacious kitchen and an elegant dining area. The sleek kitchen is fully equipped with a range of modern appliances and a central island, while the dining area offers plenty of space for everyone to gather together and discuss the day’s adventures over a home-cooked feast. This bright and airy space also provides access to a wraparound balcony. The third level also offers guests an inviting home cinema with a corner sofa, ideal for a cosy movie night.
Four beautiful double bedrooms are featured on the second level of Chalet Cress, each of which can also be arranged as a twin room upon request. The bedrooms feature king-size beds and relaxed, understated décor, with natural wood finishes creating a warm and restful ambience. Each of the bedrooms also boasts a modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower or a bathtub.
On the first level, guests will be delighted to find the chalet’s fabulous wellness zone and indoor swimming pool. The wellness zone boasts a hammam and a spa treatment room, where you can indulge in a soothing massage after a day on the slopes—treatments in the chalet’s spa area, located next to the pool. Meanwhile, a barrel sauna provides another relaxing option right outside! The first floor also offers a convenient ski storage room with a heater for boots and gloves, as well as a family bathroom.
Two more welcoming double bedrooms are situated on the ground level of Chalet Cress and a spacious family bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. Two bedrooms offer modern en-suite bathrooms, while a well-appointed shared bathroom is also located on the ground level. Here, guests will also find a charming lobby area and the chalet’s garage.

About the surrounding area of Chalet CressThe charming town of Morzine is situated right at the heart of the stunning Portes du Soleil ski area, offering visitors enchanting alpine views, old-world Savoyard charm and a wealth of outdoor activities to enjoy, whatever the season. Boasting a majestic Mont Blanc backdrop, the vast Portes du Soleil area encompasses twelve interconnected ski resorts with over 600 kilometres of slopes to suit all levels of experience. Here, skiers and snowboarders can spend sunny afternoons roaming between Morzine, Châtel and Switzerland.
Chalet Cress is approximately one kilometre from Morzine's centre, while Le Pléney is the chalet’s nearest ski lift, offering spectacular panoramic views. For young families, there are nursery slopes available in the town, while intermediate and advanced skiers can make the most of a variety of exciting blue and red runs nearby. Morzine is also home to roughly 50km of cross-country trails. There are plenty of fantastic green and blue slopes around Avoriaz, where novice skiers can spend the day progressing at their own pace and exploring in peace.
Later on, foodies will be thrilled to find a wide array of fabulous French and Swiss restaurants dotted across Morzine and the surrounding resort. Enjoy a delicious and hearty lunch on a sun-soaked terrace after a morning spent skiing in the fresh mountain air. Morzine offers many arrès-ski options for visitors to enjoy, ranging from cosy mountain inns to lively bars in the heart of the town centre. For something a little different, indoor activities such as spa treatments and wine tastings make for indulgent and memorable evening experiences.
During the winter months, the scenic village of Les Lindarets offers a dazzling white playground for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy. When summer arrives, hundreds of goats roam the streets of this quaint alpine village in place of all the winter sports enthusiasts! Take care driving or cycling here, but do make sure to visit to take in this incredibly unique sight, accompanied by the dreamlike sound of chiming bells. Afterwards, visit the emerald waters of Lake Montriond, with its backdrop of immense cliffs and verdant woodlands. Enjoy a serene swim, an afternoon of water sports or a picnic in the sun here before cycling to the cascading waters of the Brochaux Waterfall. Les Lindarets is also home to fantastic local food producers, so you can pick up some delicious cheese on your way home to Chalet Cress!

Kids’ clubs provide a wide range of activities, while toddlers can enjoy the powder-soft snow of the town’s gentlest slopes.
The Lil’Stash is an eco-friendly snow park in nearby Avoriaz, nestled within the magical Proclou forest. With enchanting huts tucked away in the treetops, suspension bridges, adventure trails, sculptures and much more, this is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon exploring. If you wish to combine your visit with some time on the slopes, the Proclou green slope is a wide piste for beginners, with a family-friendly area arranged on one side. Gas barbecues are provided within the snow park for those who wish to enjoy a scenic picnic in the forest.
Warmer weather also brings a wealth of outdoor activities for children to enjoy in the French Alps. Younger visitors will be amazed by the stunning natural beauty of Montriond Lake, where they can enjoy swimming, paddling and canoeing to their hearts’ content, as well as plenty of activities on dry land, including pony riding experiences and mini golf. Later on, make your way home to Chalet Cress in time to enjoy the sunset from the jacuzzi, before snuggling up for a movie night in the mountains!
