Behind the living area sits the spacious and convivial dining area where you’ll likely spend many a night together. The long table sits a large party and is in full view of the glamorous kitchen where you can prepare all manner of delicacies. This cheerful space will put a smile on your face in next to no time.
This is the perfect place to spend time chatting, leafing through a book, enjoying a glass of champagne or playing board games. It’s also a great place to rest and recharge as you take in the views from the outdoor terrace, where you can familiarise yourself with this most beautiful winter wonderland.

- If travelling with babies or infants, you can notify the property in advance to ensure that highchairs and baby cots can be provided and set up before you arrive.

About the surrounding area of Chalet ChatriersLes Gets is a truly charming alpine village located in the Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps. It forms part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, known as one of the largest ski domains in the world. As a prime skiing destination, many flock here to tackle the myriad of slopes available, including those ideal for veteran skiers and cautious beginners. Snowboarding is also popular here, and sports enthusiasts of all stripes head here for their hit of adrenaline and adventure.
Portes du Soleil spans France and Switzerland and boasts 600 kilometres of interconnected slopes and more than 200 ski lifts. This winter wonderland is great fun for the whole family.
As a skiing haven, Les Gets is naturally hugely popular during the winter months, but there’s also plenty to do should you find yourself visiting in summer. Here, life is all about the great outdoors. You can try your hand at hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, ice skating and golf, amongst others. Those who adore nature or are blessed with adventurous spirits will find plenty to keep them occupied.
For those seeking something gentler, Les Gets is steeped in Savoyard charm thanks to its villages brimming with wooden chalets, delightfully quaint streets, and beautiful boutiques. Despite an influx of visitors, the village has retained a sense of authenticity whilst accommodating travellers. Depending on your time of travel, you can witness events and festivals that flaunt the culture and traditions of the local people, including music festivals, food stalls and dances.
The area is also popular for its apres-Ski and nightlife scene, with a range of bars, restaurants and cafes available. The night scene is relaxed and laid-back, but there’s also plentiful entertainment and live music.
Les Gets is especially known for its family-friendly reputation. It’s even been awarded the Famille Plus label, which alludes to its commitment to ensuring that its resorts are kitted out for children. With a range of ski schools nearby, you needn’t worry if you’re not an experienced skier. You can become well acquainted with the equipment needed and the right approach to life on the snow.

Part of what makes the location so sublime is its authentic Christmas feel.
