Snow-capped peaks, rolling pistes, ultra-modern luxury — Chalet Blaireau is a winter getaway unlike any other. Spanning four levels, this contemporary six-bedroom chalet accommodates twelve guests.
Located in the scenic Mussillon district of Meribel, it’s part of the Les Allues valley — one of the largest and most popular ski areas in the world. Only 750 m by foot from the centre of Meribel resort, it has easy access to the snow front and ski schools.
The chalet brings together the rustic charm of an Alpine ski cabin with the luxuries of modern travel. Its contemporary-style architecture is blessed with uninterrupted views of the snowy mountains and 3 Vallées slopes. Large bay windows allow plenty of natural light and offer panoramic views of the surrounding forest.
After a long day on the slopes, relax your muscles in the private sauna and indoor jacuzzi.
The living room is bright and sumptuous, with clean lines, graceful wooden furniture and comfy couches. Lounge around the roaring fireplace and exchange stories from the day with your family. You’re never short on entertainment thanks to the TV and free WiFi.
Enjoy hearty meals with your family at the large dining table. If you’re staying with toddlers, you can request the staff for high chairs. The kitchen is open-plan and roomy, with glossy countertops and modern cabinetry. It includes a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, induction hobs, kettle and dryer.
The chalet is kitted with a laundry room, boots heater and ample parking space.
All six bedrooms are elegant and airy, adorned with wooden furnishing. One of them is located on the ground floor and features a luxurious double bed and wardrobe. The bathroom is en-suite — with a shower, towel dryer, single sink and toilet. All four bedrooms on the first floor have double beds and wardrobes. Each has an en-suite bathroom — with a shower, towel dryer, single sink and toilet. The sixth bedroom on the third floor is equipped with the same facilities as the rest.
To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the chalet takes great pride in its ultra-efficient and courteous housekeeping services. Upon arrival, you’re greeted with a bottle of champagne and welcome basket. Scheduled cleanings and towel changes during your stay are provided. There is also end-of-stay cleaning.

About the surrounding area of Chalet BlaireauThe chalet is located in Meribel, a premiere ski resort in the Valley of Allues. Home to more than 600 kilometres of gorgeous pistes, it’s one of the largest ski areas in the world.
Show off your skills on the pristine slopes of Mont Vallon, the Plattieres, the Tougnete and the Saulire. Ferry back and forth on high-powered, modern ski lifts.
You’re only a striking distance from teeming boutiques, trendy restaurants, magical fireworks and lively nightspots. Take the Olympe gondola lift or the shuttle to explore the exciting ambience of Meribel Centre. Adrenaline junkies are in for a treat, with thrilling winter sports activities like snowshoeing, dog sledging and heliskiing.
Even if you run into bad weather, you have plenty of entertainment options. Head to Olympic Park and enjoy its various activities such as a 25-metre swimming pool, gym, spa and climbing walls. Explore La Chaudanne and stop by its myriad of shops, eclectic restaurants and cosy pubs.
There are options for every kind of pocket. Grab lunch on the terrace of La Cantine d'Alvar, against an awe-inspiring backdrop of Mont Vallon. Sample authentic Indian food at Tsaretta Spice and creamy fondues at La Fromagerie.
If you want a break from skiing, enjoy the breathtaking hiking trails around the valley. Discover quaint mountain villages, frozen lakes and dramatic peaks. Post 3 pm every day, enjoy dazzling cabaret acts, singing performances and dancers in extravagant costumes at La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel.
Meribel Village is a sleepy, beautiful hamlet at a small distance from Meribel Centre. An oasis of serenity, it’s nestled at an altitude of 1400 metres. Marvel at its beautiful wooden and stone chalets. Dive into the region's history with a visit to its small rustic chapel.
The village square is a township unto itself, with a free car parking, supermarket, bakery, sports shop and two restaurants. Enjoy traditional Savoyard cuisine and French gourmet at these. Listen to live music après ski at Lodge du Village.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe chalet promises an unforgettable time for kids. There is plenty of space for them to roam freely, build snowmen and play-fight with snowballs. Take them for scenic hikes, horse riding and cycling adventures.
After a long day outdoors, they can watch their favourite cartoons in the TV lounge or play indoor games. Treat them to warm bubble baths in the luxurious jacuzzi. If you wish to arrange for high chairs or baby cots, the staff will be happy to help.
Blessed with an enviable location, the chalet is also at an easy distance from nursery slopes, delightful ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly winter activities. The staff will be happy to help you with details about ski schools and kid-friendly attractions in the neighbourhood.
Meribel is a star attraction for the entire family, with many activities specially designed for kids. Head to Olympic Park and spend a joyous time in the ice-skating rink. The little ones won't get enough of the bowling alley which has a few lanes specifically meant for children over three. Have hours of splashy fun in the indoor swimming pool, which includes a kids’ section.
Watch children's films every evening at Cinéma du Mottaret, a cosy one-screen cinema hall.
Take an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over snowy forests and majestic peaks at Courchevel Altiport, which is about 45 mins by car from Meribel Centre.
After all of this excitement, the little ones surely deserve treats. At Rond Point restaurant, they can relish the best ice cream sundaes in town. For something savoury, dip into a bowl of cheesy fondue at La Fromagerie.
