Flanked by majestic snow-capped peaks, Apartment Stade is a luxe 360-metre square, duplex Exuding a rustic Savoyard charm, the apartment simultaneously offers all the luxuries of modern living. Take in the view from the sprawling terrace which is surrounded by lush pine forests and dramatic landscapes. After a long day on the slopes, pamper yourself to some me-time in the wellness area. Relax your aching muscles in the sauna. Take a dip in the indoor hot tub, engulfed by panoramic vistas.
The living room is bright and roomy, with stylish wooden furnishing and modern decor. Double-height ceilings add to the overall feeling of space. Large floor-to-ceiling glass walls allow plenty of natural light. Gather around the central metal fireplace and exchange stories from your day with loved ones. Sprawl comfortably on the deep sofas and watch your favourite shows on the TV. Apres-ski, play a round at the pool table on the mezzanine floor. What’s more? There is a bar nearby for ever-flowing drinks. If you’re working remotely, make use of the free Wi-Fi.
Enjoy intimate family meals in the large dining room. If you’re travelling with toddlers, you can ask for highchairs to make them comfortable. The kitchen is open-plan and well-equipped. It includes a fridge, freezer, blender, dishwasher, and dryer. Whip up your own delicious fondues using the fondue appliance.
All six bedrooms are fully furnished, with tasteful interiors.
The master bedroom is located on the lower level. It's provided with a double bed, dresser, TV and chair. Savour your morning coffee on your very own balcony amidst breathtaking views. The bathroom is en-suite, with a bathtub and double sink. There are four other bedrooms on the same floor. Each features a double bed, en-suite bathroom and TV. Except for one, they all have their own private balconies.
On the upper level, the family bedroom comprises two single beds, which can be replaced by a double bed. There is also a sofa-bed. Other amenities include a TV corner and en-suite bathroom.
To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the residence takes great pride in its ultra-efficient and courteous housekeeping services. Beds are made beforehand, and you’re given a fresh supply of linen and indoor slippers. Daily cleaning of the apartment as well as end-of-stay cleaning are provided. About the surrounding area of Apartment StadeThe apartment is located in Méribel, a prime ski resort in the Valley of Allues. With over 600 kilometres of rolling pistes, it enjoys the reputation as one of the largest ski areas in the world. Experience the rolling, tree-lined pistes of Mont Vallon, the Saulire, the Tougnete and the Plattieres. High-powered, ultra-modern ski lifts allow easy transportation back and forth.
The residence is a stone's throw away from chic boutiques, eclectic restaurants, magical fireworks and pulsating nightspots. Take the Olympe gondola lift or the bus to the throbbing Méribel Centre. Winter sports enthusiasts are spoilt for choices with a host of activities like snowshoeing, dog sledding and heliskiing.
There are plenty of things to do even if you come across bad weather. The Olympic Park by La Chaudanne features a 25-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and climbing walls. La Chaudanne is a shopaholic and food lover's delight. Explore its various shops, gourmet restaurants and cosy pubs. There are options for every kind of pocket. Grab lunch on the terrace of La Cantine d'Alvar, against an awe-inspiring backdrop of Mont Vallon. Sample authentic Indian food at Tsaretta Spice and creamy fondues at La Fromagerie.
Go hiking along 25 km of awe-inspiring trails around the valley.Discover charming villages, frozen lakes and majestic peaks. Post 3 pm every day, enjoy dazzling cabaret acts, singing performances and dancers in elaborate costumes at La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel.
The fairytale-like village of Méribel is located at a small distance from Méribel Centre. A cocoon of tranquillity, it's perched at an altitude of 1400 metres. Witness its beautiful wooden and stone chalets. Visit its old-worldly chapel and feel like you have stepped into the pages of history.
The village square is a township unto itself, with free car parking, a supermarket, a bakery, a sports shop and two restaurants. Enjoy traditional Savoyard cuisine and French gourmet at these. Listen to live music après ski at Lodge du Village.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe residence promises a grand time for kids. They can build snowmen, play-fight with snowballs and indulge in various activities like hiking, horse riding and cycling. If they want a breather afterwards, they can watch cartoons on the TV indoors. Teenagers will love competing with each other at the pool table. Treat the little ones to warm bubble baths in the luxurious tub. If you wish to arrange for highchairs or baby cots, our staff will be happy to help.
Blessed with an enviable location, the apartment is also at an easy distance from nursery slopes, delightful ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly winter activities. Méribel teems with activities that are specially curated for kids. Head to Olympic Park and have a blast on the ice-skating rink. The little ones can try their hand in the bowling alley which has a few lanes specifically meant for children over 3. Enjoy hours of splashy fun in the indoor swimming pool, which includes a kids’ section.
Tuck into Cinéma du Mottaret, a cosy one-screen experience, which shows children’s films every evening. English language features are marked ‘VO’ on the advertisement. 45 mins by car will take you to Courchevel Altiport, where you can enjoy a thrilling hot air balloon ride over snow-covered mountain ranges. Your kids will love taking pictures and sending their social media into a tizzy.
After all of this excitement, the little ones would have surely worked up an appetite. At Rond Point restaurant, they can enjoy the most decadent ice cream sundaes in town. For something savoury, dip into a bowl of cheesy fondue at La Fromagerie.
