Apartment Morel is a 2-bedroom apartment with snow-capped ranges, rolling slopes and cosy-home living. It’s located in the village of Meribel, part of Les Trois Vallées. You’re at an easy distance from a myriad of elegant restaurants and lively apres-ski activities.
Inspired by traditional Savoyard designs, it combines the beauty of a mountain lodge with snug furnishing. Rustic wooden decor artfully blends with refreshing pastel hues, giving the place a radiant vibe. Large glass sliders and breezy balconies offer natural light and gorgeous views.
After a long day on the slopes, pamper yourself with some me-time in the living area. Unwind on the puffy sofa and watch TV all day. The indoor dining table brings families together for hearty meals.
Make the most of the well-stocked kitchen. Airy and open-plan, it’s equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic hobs, refrigerator, blender and ceramic hobs. Other facilities include a ski locker. If you’re working remotely, you can avail of the Wi-Fi.
Both bedrooms are warm and inviting, accommodating four guests. While both have double beds, one of them has an en-suite bathroom with a towel dryer, hair dryer and single sink. A private balcony offers ample space to enjoy your early-morning coffee. Treat yourself to a foamy bath in the glossy tub after a thrilling day on the slopes. A separate washroom is also available.
To make your stay as relaxed as possible, the apartment takes great pride in its ultra-efficient and courteous housekeeping services. Beds are made beforehand, and you’re offered a fresh supply of linens and indoor slippers.

About the surrounding area of Apartment MorelThe home is located in Meribel — a bewitching ski resort in the Valley of Allues. With over 600 kilometres of tree-lined pistes, it’s hailed as one of the most desirable ski areas in the world.
When it comes to winter sports activities, you’re spoiled for choices. The wondrous slopes of Mont Vallon, the Platters, the Tougnete and the Saulire are second to none. High-powered, ultra-modern ski lifts allow easy transportation back and forth.
The home provides an easy connection to brilliant boutiques, gastronomical adventures, beautiful fireworks and pulsating nightspots. Take the Olympe gondola lift or the bus to the gorgeous Meribel Centre. Adrenaline junkies should try out activities such as snowshoeing, dog sledging and heliskiing.
Even if you encounter bad weather, there’s no rain on your parade. The Olympic Park by La Chaudanne offers a 25-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and climbing walls. Explore La Chaudanne and stop by its myriad of shops, elegant restaurants and cosy pubs. From gourmet fare to pocket-friendly options, you’re promised a gastronomical adventure. Grab lunch on the terrace of La Cantine d’Alvar, against the lovely backdrop of Mont Vallon. Sample aromatic Indian dishes in Tsaretta Spice and creamy fondues in La Fromagerie.
Go hiking on the 25 km trails around the valley, which boast marvellous natural beauty. Witness charming villages, frozen lakes and scenic peaks. Post 3 pm daily, enjoy dazzling cabaret acts, singing performances and dancers in extravagant costumes at La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel.
Take advantage of the quaint, fairytale-like ambience of Meribel Village, which is a small distance from Meribel Centre. A cocoon of tranquillity, it’s perched at an altitude of 1400 metres. Witness its beautiful wooden and stone homes. Visit its rustic chapel and feel like you have stepped into the pages of history. The village square is a township with free car parking, a supermarket, a bakery, a sports shop and two restaurants. Enjoy traditional Savoyard cuisine and French gourmet at these. Listen to live music après ski at Lodge du Village.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesKids are guaranteed an entertaining time. They can build snowmen, play-fight with snowballs and indulge in a variety of activities like hiking, horse riding and cycling. After a long day outdoors, they can retire to their bedroom or spend hours watching TV.
The home is at a striking distance from nursery slopes, delightful ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly winter activities. The staff will be happy to help you with details about ski schools and kid-friendly ski areas in the neighbourhood.
Meribel is a haven for the entire family, with many activities specially designed for kids. Head to Olympic Park and go ice skating on the rink. There is also a bowling alley with some lanes specifically built for kids over the age of three. Savour an evening of splashy fun in the indoor swimming pool, which includes a kids’ section.
In the evenings, bundle into the Cinéma du Mottaret and watch classic children’s films with packs of buttery popcorn. Take an enjoyable hot air balloon ride over snowy forests and jagged peaks at Courchevel Altiport, which is about 45 mins by car from Meribel Centre. Your kids will love taking pictures and sending their social media into a tizzy.
Little ones have big appetites on holidays. There are tons of options close to the resort that will satisfy their every need. At Rond Point restaurant, they can enjoy the best ice cream sundaes in town. Dip into a bowl of cheesy fondue at La Fromagerie for something savoury.
