Nestled amidst lush trees and wild snowy peaks, Apartment Doron is a delightful 47-square-metre winter getaway. It has two bedrooms, accommodating four guests. It’s set in the beautiful location of Méribel in Les Trois Vallées — one of the most magical ski destinations in the world.

The living area oozes a chic, contemporary vibe. Its dewy pastel-green walls exude a refreshing ambience. It features a puffy seating area, perfect for unwinding for hours. Large glass sliders and patio doors allow plenty of natural light. Settle down before the TV and treat yourself to endless entertainment. If you’re working remotely, you can make use of the Wi-Fi.
Enjoy family meals at the indoor dining table, followed by drinks at the bar and kitchen island. If you’re visiting with toddlers, you can request highchairs from the staff. The kitchen is bright and fully functioning. Amenities include a fridge, dishwasher, kettle and induction hobs.
A ski locker and a boots heater are also provided.
Both bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully designed. While both have double beds, one of them is separable.

About the surrounding area of Apartment DoronThe apartment is located in Méribel — a prime ski resort in the Valley of Allues. Boasting more than 600 kilometres of magnificent pistes, it lives up to its reputation as one of the most coveted ski areas in the world. The rolling, tree-lined slopes of Mont Vallon, the Plattieres, the Tougnete and the Saulire are second to none. Make use of the high-powered, ultra-modern ski lifts for easy travel back and forth.
Thanks to its optimal location, you're never too far away from boutique shops, eclectic restaurants and lively night haunts.
Méribel Centre is easily accessible by the Olympe gondola life and convenient shuttle service. Adrenaline junkies are in for a treat with exciting winter sports activities like snowshoeing, dog sledging and heliskiing.
Even if you run into unfortunate weather, you will never be bored. The Olympic Park is a hub of fun-filled activities. Take a dip in the 25-metre pool, work up a sweat in the fitness centre, unwind in the spa and test your mettle on the climbing walls. Explore La Chaudanne and stop by its myriad of shops, eclectic restaurants and cosy pubs. There are options for every kind of pocket. Head to La Cantine d'Alvar and dig into sumptuous meals engulfed by the majestic vistas of Mont Vallon. Sample authentic Indian food at Tsaretta Spice and creamy fondues at La Fromagerie.
Non-skiers can explore 25 km of spectacular hiking trails across the valley. Treat your eyes to delightful hamlets, frozen lakes and spectacular mountain ranges. When the clock strikes 3, make your way to La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel. Witness exuberant cabaret shows, beautiful singers and visually striking dance performances.
Méribel Village is a quaint, enchanting hamlet, slightly removed from Méribel Centre. A cocoon of tranquillity, it's perched at an altitude of 1400 metres. Witness its beautiful wooden and stone chalets. Get a feel for history when you step through the gates of its rustic chapel. The village square is very tourist friendly. It houses a sprawling free car park, supermarket, sports store, bakery and a pair of restaurants. Enjoy traditional Savoyard cuisine and French gourmet at these. Listen to live music après ski at Lodge du Village.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe residence promises a grand time for kids. They can play freely in the snow and build snowmen. Take them outside for hiking, horse riding and cycling in the fresh mountain air. After a long day outdoors, settle them in front of the TV to watch their favourite cartoons.
The staff will gladly assist if you wish to arrange for highchairs or baby cots.
The apartment is at an easy distance from nursery slopes, delightful ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly winter activities.
Méribel is an excellent option for a family holiday, with many activities specially designed for kids. They will love gliding on the ice-skating rink in Olympic Park. Practise their aim in the bowling alley with a few kid-friendly lanes. Enjoy hours of splashy fun in the indoor swimming pool, which includes a kids’ section.
In the evenings, the entire family can head to Cinéma du Mottaret and watch blockbuster children’s films. Take an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over snowy forests and majestic peaks at Courchevel Altiport, about 45 mins by car from Méribel Centre. Kids won’t be able to resist taking pictures and making their friends jealous.
After all of this excitement, the little ones would have surely worked up an appetite. There is no better place for the most delicious ice cream sundaes than Rond Point. Stop by La Fromagerie and dip into a gluttonous pot of cheese fondue.
