Wild, snowy peaks, rolling pistes and modern cosy living, Apartment Cherferieis a two-bedroom winter getaway for four guests. Located in delightful Meribel Village, it’s part of the Les Allues Valley, one of the world's largest and most prized ski areas. It's an oasis of tranquillity, only a kilometre from a bevvy of shops and the Gold chairlift.
The decor combines the earthy charm of the Alps with the comforts of modern living. Step onto the balcony and take in the views of snow-capped peaks and lush coniferous trees.
The living room is bright and comfy, with refined furnishing and pops of colour. Large windows allow plenty of natural light. After a hard day on the slopes, relax in the TV lounge and catch up on your favourite shows.
Enjoy cosy family meals at the dining table. If you're travelling with toddlers, you can ask for high chairs to make them comfortable. The kitchen is open-plan and well-equipped. It features a coffee machine, dishwasher, dryer, blender and ceramic hobs. Whip up your own delicious fondue using the fondue appliance.
Other amenities include a ski locker and ample parking space.
Both bedrooms are fully furnished, with elegant designs. One is a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. This bathroom has a shower, towel dryer, hairdryer, single sink and toilet. The other bedroom can serve as a double or twin. Step onto your very own private balcony and sip your morning coffee amidst breathtaking views.
To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the residence takes great pride in its ultra efficient and courteous housekeeping services. Upon arrival, you are received at the agency. Beds are made beforehand, and you’re given a fresh supply of linen and indoor slippers during winter months. End-of-stay cleaning is also available.

Blessed with more than 600 kilometres of glorious pistes, it lives up to itsreputation as one of the most privileged ski areas in the world. Skienthusiasts will need more of the long, uninterrupted slopes of Mont Vallon, the Plattieres, the Tougnete and the Saulire. Make use of the high-powered, ultra-modern ski lifts for easy travel back and forth. Boasting a desirable location, you're always close to boutique shops, eclectic restaurants and lively night haunts. Take the Olympe gondola lift or the bus to the throbbing Meribel Centre. Thrill seekers are in for a treat, with various winter sports activities like snowshoeing, husky sledding and heliskiing.
Even if you run into unfortunate weather, you will never be bored. TheOlympic Park is a hub of fun-filled activities. Take a dip in the 25-metrepool, work up a sweat in the fitness centre, unwind in the spa and test your mettle on the climbing walls.
Explore La Chaudanne and stop by its many shops, eclectic restaurants and cosy pubs. There are options for every kind of pocket. Grab lunch on the terrace of La Cantine d'Alvar, against an awe-inspiring backdrop of Mont Vallon. Enjoy authentic Indian fare at Tsaretta Spice and creamy fondues at La Fromagerie.
Non-skiers can explore 25 km of spectacular hiking trails across thevalley. Traverse through delightful hamlets, frozen lakes and spectacularmountain ranges. Post 3 pm daily, enjoy dazzling cabaret acts, singing performances and dancers in extravagant costumes at La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel.
Meribel Village is a quaint, enchanting hamlet, slightly removed fromMeribel Centre. A cocoon of tranquillity, it's perched at an altitude of 1400metres. Take pictures of its beautiful wooden and stone chalets and feel like you've gone back in time. Get a feel of history when you step through the gates of its rustic chapel. The village square is a township unto itself, with a free car parking, a supermarket, bakery, sports shop and two restaurants. Enjoy traditional Savoyard cuisine and French gourmet at these. Listen to live music après ski at Lodge du Village.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe residence promises a grand time for kids. They can play freely in the snow and build snowmen. Take them outside for hiking, horse riding and cycling in the fresh mountain air. After a long day outdoors, settle them in front of the TV to watch their favourite cartoons. If you wish to arrange for high chairs or baby cots, our staff will gladly help.
The apartment is also at an easy distance from nursery slopes,delightful ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly winter activities. Thestaff will happily help you with details about ski schools and kid-friendly ski areas in the neighbourhood. Meribel is a thrilling entertainment option for the whole family, withmany activities specially designed for kids. They will love gliding on the ice skating rink in Olympic Park. Let them show off their motor skills in thebowling alley, which has a few lanes specifically meant for children over 3.Enjoy hours of splashy fun in the indoor swimming pool, which includes a kids’ section.
In the evenings, spend quality family time at Cinéma du Mottaret and watch blockbuster children’s films. Take an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over snowy forests and majestic peaks at Courchevel Altiport, which is about 45 minutes by car from Meribel Centre. Your kids will love taking pictures and sending their social media into a tizzy.
After all of the excitement, the little ones would be craving somedelicious treats. There is no better place for the most delicious ice cream sundaes than Rond Point. Dip into a bowl of cheesy fondue at La Fromagerie for something savoury.
