Great Value
Self-Catered Ideal for Kids Walk to Village Parking Space

Set amidst wild, snowy peaks, Apartment Arpasson 9 is a contemporary four-bedroom apartment for nine guests in Méribel, France. Located in the valley of Les Allues, one of the world's largest and most charming ski neighbourhoods, it's at a striking distance from tree-lined pistes and modern ski lifts. Close to many shops and the teeming Morel chairlift, it's a haven for adventure junkies and winter sport enthusiasts.

Inside, the home tastefully blends the storybook charm of a winter cabin with graceful interiors. Soothing wooden accents, white-washed furnishing and creamy walls go perfectly with the surroundings, making you feel one with nature.

Spend leisurely hours on the spacious outdoor deck, which looks as dreamy in soft daylight as it does covered in pillowy snow.

The living area is bright and inviting — with all the facilities of modern living. Large glass doors allow plenty of natural light. A comfy refuge after a hard day of skiing, it features a roaring fireplace and Cathedral-style decor. Make yourself cosy on fur seats and catch up on your favourite Netflix series.

Relish hearty meals at the large dining table. If you're travelling with toddlers, you can request high chairs to make them comfortable.

The kitchen is open-plan and well-designed. It includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, blender and coffee machine.

All bedrooms guarantee a restful night's sleep. While three have double beds, two of them come with en-suite bathrooms. The fourth bedroom has a bunk bed, a pull-out bed, and an en-suite bathroom. A private balcony is available, from where you can savour marvellous views while sipping your morning coffee. Make most of the cosy tub provided to relax for hours.

Tucked away in Les Trois Vallées — the largest ski destination in the world, Apartment Arpasson 9 is a contemporary home with traditional Alpine living.

The Resort

Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.

At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.

The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.

Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!

Kids

Best Suited For: All Ages
Ideal for Kids Ideal for Teens

Kids and adults alike are promised a marvellous time. They can build snowmen, play-fight with snowballs and indulge in a range of activities like hiking, horse riding and cycling.

After a long day outdoors, draw a foamy bath in the tub. Or, make them comfortable in front of the TV, where they can watch cartoons for hours. If you wish to arrange for high chairs or baby cots, the staff will be happy to help.

Blessed with a spell-binding location, it’s also at an easy distance from nursery slopes, magical ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly activities. Make sure to check with staff for details about ski schools and family-friendly spots in the neighbourhood.

Méribel is ideal for family vacations, with many attractions specially designed for kids. Head to Olympic Park and have a blast on the ice-skating rink. Little ones can show off their motor skills in the bowling alley, which has a few lanes specifically meant for children over three. Enjoy hours of splashy fun in the indoor swimming pool, which includes a kids’ section.

Tuck into Cinéma du Mottaret, a cosy one-screen experience which shows children’s films every evening.

Take an exciting hot air balloon ride over snowy forests and eye-catching peaks at Courchevel Altiport, about 45 mins by car from Méribel Centre.

After all of this excitement, the little ones surely deserve treats. At Rond Point restaurant, they can enjoy the best ice cream sundaes in town. For something savoury, dip into a bowl of cheesy fondue at La Fromagerie or whip up your own using the fondue maker available inside the apartment.
