Nestled in the lap of snow-capped peaks, Apartment Aigle is an elegant five-bedroom apartment for twelve guests. Blessed with a spectacular location in Meribel Station, it’s set in the Les Allues Valley — one of the largest and wildly sought-after ski destinations in the world.
This holiday home is a perfect blend of robust Alpine charm and luxuries of modern comfort. Step onto the private west-facing balcony and take in views of snowy peaks and lush pine forests.
The living area is bright and spacious, with comfy seating arrangements and stylish wooden elements. Savour the warmth of the fireplace and regale your loved ones with stories from your day. Large windows exude plenty of natural light.
You’re never short on entertainment, thanks to the TV, home stereo, bookshelf and Blu-ray player. For those working remotely, Wi-Fi is available.
Enjoy hearty meals with family at the large dining table. If you’re travelling with toddlers, you can ask for high chairs to make them comfortable. Spend an afternoon of family cooking, whipping up delicious fondue with the fondue maker. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a coffee machine, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and dryer.
The residence is provided with a ski locker and boots heater.
All bedrooms are fully furnished, with graceful interiors. The primary bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom. It has a private balcony overlooking mountain vistas. Other facilities include a bathtub, TV, wardrobe, chest of drawers, office and wardrobe.
Two bedrooms feature double beds, while one comes with twin beds. The fifth bedroom has three single beds and a pull-out bed. It also has a wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom.
To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the residence takes great pride in its ultra-efficient and courteous housekeeping services. You’re given a fresh supply of linen and indoor slippers.

The rolling, tree-lined slopes of Mont Vallon, the Plattieres, the Tougnete and the Saulire are second to none. Make use of the high-powered, ultra-modern ski lifts for easy travel back and forth.
Thanks to its optimal location, you're never too far away from charming shops, eclectic restaurants and vibrant night haunts.
Meribel Centre is easily accessible by the Olympe gondola life and convenient shuttle service. Adrenaline junkies are in for a treat with exciting winter sports activities like snowshoeing, dog sledging and heliskiing.
Even if you run into unfortunate weather, you will never be bored. The Olympic Park is a hub of fun-filled activities. Take a dip in the 25-metre pool, work up a sweat in the fitness centre, unwind in the spa and test your mettle on the climbing walls. Explore La Chaudanne and stop by its myriad of shops, eclectic restaurants and pubs. There are options for every kind of pocket. Head to La Cantine d'Alvar and dig into sumptuous meals engulfed by the magical vistas of Mont Vallon. Sample authentic Indian food at Tsaretta Spice and creamy fondues at La Fromagerie.
Non-skiers can explore 25 km of spectacular hiking trails across the valley. Treat your eyes to delightful hamlets, frozen lakes and spectacular mountain ranges. When the clock strikes 3, make your way to La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel. Witness animated cabaret shows, beautiful singers and visually-striking dance performances.
Meribel Village is a serene, enchanting hamlet, slightly removed from Meribel Centre. A cocoon of tranquillity, it's perched at an altitude of 1400 metres. Soak in its beautiful wooden and stone chalets. Get a feel of history when you step through the gates of its rustic chapel. The village square is very tourist-friendly. It houses a sprawling free car park, supermarket, sports store, bakery and a pair of restaurants. Enjoy traditional Savoyard cuisine and French gourmet at these. Listen to live music après ski at Lodge du Village.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesLittle ones are promised a grand time. They can play freely in the snow and build snowmen. Take them outside for hiking, horse riding and cycling in the fresh mountain air.
After a long day outdoors, settle them in front of the TV to watch their cartoons all day. Get them ready for bed with a relaxing bath in the tub. If you wish to arrange for high chairs or baby cots, the staff will be happy to help.
The apartment is close to nursery slopes, delightful ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly activities. You’ll easily get details about ski schools and ski areas in the neighbourhood from the staff.
Meribel is a must-visit, with many activities specially designed for kids. They will love gliding on the ice skating rink in Olympic Park. Practice their aim in the bowling alley, which has a few kid-friendly lanes. Enjoy hours of splashy fun in the indoor swimming pool, which includes a kids’ section.
In the evenings, the entire family can head to Cinéma du Mottaret and watch blockbuster children’s films. Take an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over snowy forests and majestic peaks at Courchevel Altiport, which is about 45 mins by car from Meribel Centre. Kids won’t be able to resist taking pictures and making their friends jealous.
After all of this excitement, the little ones would have surely worked up an appetite. For the most delicious ice cream sundaes, there is no better place than Rond Point. Stop by La Fromagerie and dip into a gluttonous pot of cheese fondue.
