Chalet Lyla is a stunning Alpine retreat that offers the perfect blend of traditional Alpine charm and modern luxury. With its prime location, stunning views, and top-notch amenities, Chalet Lyla is the ultimate destination for an unforgettable Courchevel break.
Built-in the traditional Savoyard style, the chalet boasts a beautiful wood and stone exterior that blends seamlessly into its natural surroundings. The interior is equally stunning, with elegant furnishings and modern flourishes that come together to provide the perfect balance of comfort and luxury.
Chalet Lyla is a warm and welcoming property with its main living area located on the top floor of the chalet. Features vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and a large fireplace, this open-plan space includes a comfortable seating area with large sofas and a wall-mounted TV, a spacious dining table that can feasibly seat your whole group, and a fully equipped kitchen. Large windows provide stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and a balcony offers the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
As a fully serviced, luxury chalet, the staff at Chalet Lyla like to go the extra mile wherever possible. As such, you can expect a delicious breakfast to be prepared and served each morning at no additional cost.
Five wonderful bedrooms await, each of which has its own en-suite bathroom and either two singles or a double bed. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with plush bedding and warm lighting, providing a cosy, relaxing atmosphere.
When it comes to relaxing after a day of skiing, the chalet has a fantastic wellness area that includes an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. There is also a cinema room with a large screen and comfortable seating.
In addition to its luxurious amenities, Chalet Lyla is ideally located within the area, with ski-in, ski-out access to the slopes. You’re also just a stone’s throw away from the village centre, where you’ll find a variety of world-class restaurants, bars, and shops.

About the surrounding area of Chalet LylaChalet Lyla is located in the prestigious village of Courchevel Le Prazl, which is part of Les Three Valleys ski area - the largest ski area in the world. Set within the French Alps’ iconic Savoie region, Chalet Lyla is ideal for groups looking for the perfect blend of tranquillity and action.
The nearest airports to Courchevel are Geneva in Switzerland and Lyon in France, which are both around a two-and-a-half car drive from the resort. From either airport, you can arrange for a private transfer service to take you directly to the chalet or rent a car and drive yourself to the resort.
Once settled in Courchevel, your proximity to everything Alpine means that you can get started enjoying a wide range of activities, both on and off the slopes, in no time at all. The chalet is ideally located for skiing, with ski-in, ski-out access allowing you to hit the slopes right from the chalet's doorstep.
The nearby village is also within walking distance and is home to a wonderful variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs. The resort has a reputation for being a luxurious winter wonderland, with a number of Michelin-starred restaurants to choose from and several world-class spa centres in the area.
Beyond skiing, the area offers plenty of other mountain activities such as ice-skating, snow trekking, and even paragliding in the right conditions.

The Resort
Courchevel is made up of six satellite villages, each with their own distinct style and atmosphere, and picturesque forest roads to lead you in-between. Most well known is the illustrious Courchevel 1850 with its reputation for exclusivity and an A-List clientele. 1850 is certainly the place to go for five-star hotels, swanky bars and extravagant nightlife. The other Courchevel villages (such as Courchevel Moriond) have a much more laid back vibe and are certainly the more affordable choice.
The skiing in Courchevel is split into four levels and you can take an excellent free ski bus in between. At the resort itself you have 150 kilometres of pistes at your feet and while you can get a Courchevel lift-pass you can also ski the whole of the Three Valleys with an area-pass. Since the slopes here face north, the snow at Courchevel is more reliable than elsewhere in the Three Valleys. Courchevel pistes are absolutely unrivaled, meticulously maintained and perfectly positioned to align with the landscape.
With its highest lift at 2740m altitude, Courchevel is exceptionally good for high altitude skiing with incredible alpine views, and the most impressive runs are best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers. But for the little ones just finding their snow legs, the resort has a fantastic children’s village where they can learn in a stress-free environment. Ski season here lasts until late April and even if you prefer not to ski at all, you’ll be well entertained with everything from scenic walks to classical music concerts.
In the evenings, the Courchevel night skies are lit up by spectacular firework displays that could get anyone in the mood for a night on the town. The bars here are a good mix of casual and upmarket, so there’s plenty for all tastes to enjoy when it comes to après-ski. Courchevel also has a well-earned reputation for being the best ski resort when it comes to gastronomy.
