Set within 17 pristine hectares of unspoiled woodland marked by cork trees, umbrella pines and wild sand dunes, Sublime Comporta and its luxurious villas are the perfect destination for eco-conscious travellers. Built with nature in mind, each aspect of Sublime Comporta sets out to reduce its impact on the world around it while also paying homage to it. A nature lover’s paradise just a stone’s throw away from the beach, don’t be surprised when you see the various animals that call Sublime Comporta home going about their business.
La Cabana II provides a haven of peace and tranquillity which you can truly make your home away from home during your stay. This spacious villa can comfortably sleep up to four guests across two bedrooms.
Your main living space is a luxurious open plan area which combines kitchen, dining and lounging, making it the heart of the property. Decorated in bright airy furnishings, the La Cabana II is a modern take on the classic Comporta cabana which opens up onto a spacious terrace complete with outdoor dining facilities.
The bedrooms of your cabana are located in separate wings accessed via short corridors off the living space, giving you maximum privacy when in your rooms. Each room is furnished with a king-size bed and benefits from its own separate patio with two chairs and a table each. Your en-suite bathroom features dual sinks, a freestanding bathtub and rainfall shower.
Outside, you also have your own private swimming pool and sun loungers.
Although you have your own pool and kitchen you’re welcome to use the wider facilities the resort has to offer such as two swimming pools, three restaurants and two bars. You also have access to the Sublime Comporta’s spa and sports facilities as well as their ‘residents only’ beach club on Carvalhal beach.
Each villa features air conditioning, underfloor heating, complimentary high-speed internet and free parking for residents who arrive by car.

The Villa
La Cabana II have an area of 160m2 and are a contemporary take on Comporta’s traditional cabana houses. They include 2 “Cabana Rooms” (bedrooms) with ensuite bathrooms (each with a stunning, large freestanding bathtub and rain showers), a spacious living room and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and guest bathroom. They also include an indoor/outdoor fireplace as well as a private pool and 3 decks.

About the surrounding area of La Cabana IILa Cabana II is located just outside the fishing village of Comporta, a highly-sought after and exclusive holiday resort on Portugal’s coast popular with the rich and famous. Nicknamed ‘The Hamptons of Western Europe’, Comporta is the subdued playground of those looking for a relaxing break in the sun.
Though popular with visitors from all around the world, Comporta has retained its charm as an idyllic Mediterranean fishing village. The day-to-day pace of life is still laid back and you can find plenty of casual bars and restaurants while walking through its streets.
While Sub has its own beach club for resort guests on nearby Carvalhal beach, it’s not the only beach in the area. In fact, you’ll be spoiled for choice when deciding you should go each day. Whether you’re heading north or south, you’ll find miles upon miles of rolling golden sands before you.
Portugal is world-famous for its golf resorts and Comporta is no different, with the world-class Troia Golf just 30 minutes away by car. This 18-hole course was designed by esteemed golf architect Robert Trent Jones Senior and is considered to feature some of his finest work.
For unforgettable days out, Lisbon, the historic capital of Portugal, is only 90 minutes north from Sublime Comporta, whereas Alentejo, a wine lover’s paradise, is only 90 minutes to the east.

THE REGION
Comporta is surrounded by rice paddies, the ocean, sand dunes and pine forests. It's a unique place where you can connect with nature and live in the moment. Comporta has a rhythm and an ambience that are all it's own. This wild and unspoilt part of Portugal attracts an in-the-know international crowd, including renowned artists, designers, and A-listers.
Comporta has a remarkable diversity of natural systems with long stretches of beach, windswept dunes, scenic pine forests, salt marshes and rice paddies which become a vibrant green in June. The region is also characterized by rice fields and its main attraction, the Comporta beach: 20 kilometres of uninterrupted white sand, a beach lover’s paradise.
As with the rest of Portugal, you can expect sun-blessed weather year-round in Comporta. The best months of the year to visit Comporta for long beach stays are from June to September, while the spring and autumn months are still suitable for picnics or day trips.

Best Suited For: All AgesKeeping older kids entertained on holiday is a daunting task. Luckily, there’s lots to get involved in in and around Sublime Comporta during your stay. At your Cabana II itself, you have high-speed internet throughout letting kids enjoy games and streaming on their electronic devices.
Around the resort, they can participate in bike rides through woodland trails or make use of the resort’s tennis courts. Nature lovers can also walk around the woods for a spot of birdwatching, as Comporta is home to over 200 different types of bird throughout the year.
Down on the beach, Comporta has the perfect conditions for easy surfing and snorkelling in its calm blue waters.
Nature is especially abundant in the area surrounding Sublime Comporta with lots of nature walks and trails you can explore at your leisure. Or, to see even more animals in their natural habitat, the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve is only an hour away by car. This 30-acre reserve is home to species such as otters, flamingos and dolphins along the coast.
For historic and educational activities, set a day aside to visit Lisbon where kids can visit sites like the Carmo Archaeological Museum and Lisbon Oceanarium.
