Algarve Marvels III enjoys a light, fresh decor throughout, incorporating neutral tones, oak brushed wooden floors, bespoke oak timber doors, and quality soft furnishings that are modern and stylish in design. The open-concept living area features a sumptuous oatmeal-coloured sofa for cosying up with loved ones, soft plush rugs and a huge flatscreen TV for your entertainment. Decorative touches include contemporary lighting fixtures that can be adjusted to create an ambience to suit the mood and beautifully crafted tables and mirrors for a homely, welcoming vibe.
The apartment lends itself perfectly to intimate social gatherings, with ample indoor dining space for enjoying busy family breakfasts and delicious evening meals that can be rustled up in Algarve Marvels III’s designer kitchen. Here you’ll find an array of Smeg appliances that include an electric induction hob and extractor, integrated dishwasher, fridge-freezer and wine-cooler and microwave oven - not to mention Silestone worktops for food-preparation and soft-close cupboards for storage.
On the first floor of the apartment, you’ll discover the apartment’s master bedroom, which features breathtaking sea views and ocean-inspired decor that incorporates swirls of sea green and light foam shades. The comfortable double bed promises a restful and relaxing night’s sleep, and there’s another large flatscreen TV for a lazy morning’s viewing. From the living space, guests can access a stunning decked terrace, which offers more of those incredible sea views and is fully furnished with alfresco dining facilities and sun loungers.
From the living area, guests can access the apartment’s private balcony, which features a spacious and fully-furnished decking area, complete with high-quality lounge seating. Clear, safety-glass balustrades provide peace of mind for families with children, as well as ensure that you can enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean and the rest of the resort. It’s the perfect place for sitting back and soaking up the sun, enjoying a good book, or partaking in after-dinner drinks and hearty conversation with your guests.
A further two bedrooms can be found on the apartment’s upper floor; a second stylish double and a single. Both rooms are decorated to the same high standard as the rest of the apartment, with high-spec furnishings and modern design features for the ultimate in luxury and convenience. Algarve Marvel III’s bathroom is a glorious space in which to pamper yourself during your stay, with a deep, free-standing bathtub, rain head shower, and a large vanity counter with well-lit mirrors. The area is famous for its glorious beaches and glittering coastline, colourful architecture and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The apartment is part of an exclusive resort which offers guests an array of exclusive amenities, including swimming pools, a spa, bars and restaurants - so everything you’ll need during your stay is within easy reach. The beaches on the Algarve are plentiful and situated just metres from your apartment. Evaristo beach is one of the closest and most beautiful, far enough away from busy Albufeira to retain its quiet charm, and dotted with rock formations which are great for exploring!
This Blue Flag Award-winner has an up-market feel and attracts its fair share of the rich and famous thanks to its cosy feel, clean sands and clear waters. The beach is serviced by lifeguards during the summer months, and amenities include showers and toilets, as well as snack bars and restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood. There is good disabled access here, with a boardwalk that runs to and along the beach (also handy for those with prams and pushchairs), and also the opportunity to hire sun loungers and parasols, and even pedalos.
One of the most beautiful beaches in the world is nearby Marinha beach (if you’ve ever seen pictures or videos of the Algarve, you will have seen it!), and is famous for its spectacular setting and calm, turquoise waters. Its golden sands are nestled at the base of impressive limestone cliffs, which have been eroded over time to create unique formations such as the well-known double sea arch, Arcos Naturais - one of the most photographed natural features of the Algarve. Marinha is incredibly popular with families, as it remains sheltered from the wind, and the clear waters make it a prime spot for snorkelling and swimming.
If you want to check out how the other half live, Oliver recommends venturing to Vilamoura or Albufeira marinas to see the impressive yachts and maybe check out some of the exclusive Michelin-starred restaurants, stylish beachside hangouts, or buzzing beach clubs. THE REGION
Albufeira is one of the Algarve's top hotspots. It's a charismatic beach town with an energetic and busy vibe where every type of holidaymaker can find something to enjoy. Not only is it family friendly and bursting with great activities for kids and teens, there is also a buzzing nightlife scene on the downtown strip for adults travelling on their own.
If you’re after something a bit more cultural, there is also a beautiful Old Town where all the best restaurants and historical sites can be found. For those looking to get a little bit extra out of their Albufeira stay, Vidamar Resort in the Salgados area offers all the perks of staying in a self-catered villa plus the amenities of a luxury resort.
Not far from there you’ll also come across the beachy Sao Rafael as well as Galé where the sandy stretches and deep blue waves will have you thinking you’re on the set of a photoshoot. Golf lovers might want to head to Amendoeira Golf Resort, located a quick fifteen minutes from Albufeira, which is perfect those who like a good game while still staying close to town.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesFamilies staying at Algarve Marvels III can enjoy all of the fabulous amenities that the resort has to offer, including several resident-only pools, a dedicated child’s pool, and a number of bars and refreshments. The apartment itself is spacious enough to accommodate everyone comfortably, with both double and single beds and plenty of room to all eat together, alfresco or inside. There are some stairs both in the apartment and on the private terrace, so very young children will need to be well supervised.
You’ll find plenty of watersports to enjoy on the Algarve, with something to suit all ages, from snorkelling and swimming the clear, turquoise waters to stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking and sailing. You can hire equipment from a lot of the beaches and stick close to the coast, or if you want to head into more open waters, you’ll find plenty of guided tours along the coast. Boat trips are popular with visitors to the Algarve, so Oliver recommends booking at least one during your stay and exploring the coastline with the kids. Whether you want to discover untouched beaches, explore hidden coves and dramatic caves, or spot some of the region’s amazing wildlife - including dolphins - you’re sure to find a boat trip to accommodate you.
One of the biggest attractions in the region for families with children is Aquashow Park, which is located just a few minutes from Vilamoura. This huge water park features slides and water coasters for kids (and adults!) of all ages to enjoy, including free-fall racing slides, a lazy river and wave pool, and even a specialised area for toddlers and babies.
Little animal lovers will enjoy a day out at Lagos Zoo, which is home to over 140 species, including primates and exotic birds, as well as featuring a petting zoo where the kids can interact with friendly donkeys, goats, guinea pigs and rabbits - it’s perfect for younger kids. With a focus on conservation, the zoo offers plenty of opportunities for the children to learn more about the animals and the work that is being done to protect them, as well as allowing them to see the animals being fed. The zoo is extremely accessible and easy to navigate with pushchairs and wheelchairs, making it a great day out for all ages and abilities.
