Villa Racina, a sleek and stylish one-storey detached modern minimalist villa, tucked away in the serene countryside near to the town of Ostuni on the south coast of Italy. This architect designed villa has three exquisitely appointed ensuite double bedrooms, making it an ideal getaway for up to six guests, perfect for a family holiday, or group of friends’ sharing.
The heart of the villa is its open-plan living space, flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that gives access to the Mediterranean garden. Furnished with a comfortable cerise red L-shaped sofa, a matching six-seater dining set, and a modern fully equipped kitchen featuring an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and Italian coffee machine, the living area is both comfortable and inviting.
The three ensuite bedrooms are tastefully designed with wooden canopy double beds, side tables, and spacious wardrobes. Each bedroom comes complete with a walk-in glass-fronted shower, hand basin, bidet, and WC, with direct access to the surrounding gardens, blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor living.
Additional features include a service room on the lower floor equipped with a dryer, iron, basin, and washing machine, ensuring convenience for guests during their stay. An annexe houses a mini spa, offering a sauna and shower for those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.
Outside, the villa is surrounded by an enclosed dry stone wall, housing a Mediterranean garden that spans five hundred square meters. The garden is populated with shady ancient olive and oak trees, providing a peaceful backdrop for the centrepiece private swimming pool. Guests can unwind on the surrounding sun loungers, enjoy the soft seating set, or dine al fresco at the table for six. A mini bar and barbecue complete the outdoor amenities, making it a super space for leisurely moments.
Villa Racina also offers an array of facilities, including complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi, private parking for up to three cars, charging points for electric cars, electronic gates, surveillance cameras, and a 36-hour generator. Additionally, a complimentary 36-hour access to the Ddò Relais Spa, featuring a Turkish bath, sauna, relax area, and massage area, is offered from 18:00 to 21:30. Location
About the surrounding area of Villa RacinaVilla Racina can be found in the heart of the Puglian countryside, between the cities of Cisternino, Martina Franca, and Locorotondo, in the Galante district, on the south coast of Italy. The nearest international airport is Brindisi, a scenic forty five minute drive to your holiday home. The charming sparkling white town of Ostuni is seventeen kilometres away, with its historic centre, narrow streets, convivial squares, impressive Romanesque cathedral, and Saturday market for provisions and souvenirs.
The nearest and best beaches are a twenty kilometre drive to Dune Costiere Park; the protected coastal marine areas of Torre Guaceto, and Santa Sabina, with crystal clear waters that are great for swimming; Pilone, with golden sands, and organised clubs; and Rosa Marina, the longest stretch of beach in the area, with public and private sections. Whilst you are there enjoy paddleboarding, wind and kite surfing, or a boat trip along the coast.
Keep fit with a cycle through the countryside, or hike a local trail through olive groves and historic sites. Tee off at the San Domenico Golf Course, or play a game of tennis at the nearby club. Take a tour of the many wineries, and sample a glass of Puglia’s famous Primitivo.
Go further afield and head north to the holiday hot spot of Monopoli, or south to the ancient town of Brindisi.
As dusk falls sip cocktails, and wine and dine in the Piazza della Liberta, the main square in Ostuni, then dance until dawn at one of the beach clubs, which transform themselves into lively nightspots.

Best Suited For: All AgesThere’s lots for you and your family to do when you stay in the Puglian countryside on the south coast of Italy. Starting with the villa and its private pool, where they can swim and splash all day, and fenced-in gardens in which they can safely play.
The area is renowned for its beautiful beaches, and fabulous famous dunes. Most notably for families, Torre Guaceto, with its pristine sands, and clear, shallow waters, it’s perfect for making sand castles or swimming and snorkelling in the Adriatic Sea. Rosa Marina is famous for its soft golden sands, organised facilities, brilliant beach clubs, and fabulous water sports for your older kids. Keep them active with a hike, bike, or horse ride through the local countryside and coastline.
Spend the day in nearby Ostuni old town, wander through the historic centre, visit the cathedral, and enjoy a family feast of local delicacies at one of the many welcoming cafes and restaurants. Check out the local events, and if you are lucky you might be there to join in the celebrations of the Ostuni Carnival.
Have some family fun with cooking classes where you can all learn to make traditional Puglian dishes. Take a tour around the local olive groves, and see how they make the delicious olive oils.
Go field afield to Zoosafari Fasanolandia in Fasano, a drive through safari park, with pools and slides for all age groups too.
