Trulli Lamafico is a unique, original domed roof villa, sitting in the countryside near to the lively resort of Monopoli on Italy's southern coast. This two hundred and fifty square metre, two storey, detached villa, has been recently restored its former glory. The property is set in its own grounds and meticulously manicured gardens, populated with ancient olive trees, and your very own private swimming pool. The villa has four spacious double bedrooms, and can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests, ideal for a large family holiday, or a group of friends’ get together.
Enter the villa at the ground floor level, where a welcoming entrance hall has a double sofa bed, and a smart flat screen television. A galley-style fully-fitted kitchen, equipped with all the latest appliances you will need to cater for your holiday, including a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, an oven and hob and a microwave. There is a cosy dining room with a six-seater table, an enclosed fireplace for those cooler months and evenings. And in the corner a work and reading area with comfy armchairs is perfect for catching up with this season’s best seller.
On the same level are three exquisitely-appointed bedrooms, all with double beds. Two stylish modern bathrooms with walk-in showers, hand basins, bidets, and WCs complete the ground floor.
At the back of the house an internal staircase leads to the upper floor, where a private entrance bedroom awaits with a double bed, an ensuite shower room, hand basin, bidet, WC, and a small terrace overlooking the swimming pool and gardens.
Step outside, where the extensive gardens and grounds are the star of the show. Taking centre stage is an inviting, heart-shaped, step entry, swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers and a cooling down outdoor shower. A decked area is home to a soft seating spot and a swing chair, the perfect place to gather for morning coffee, and sun set cocktails. A pergola-covered summer kitchen, equipped with a fridge/freezer, prep area, sink, picnic bench seating, and a barbecue, provides an ideal spot for outdoor dining. Additional amenities include a bathroom with a shower, hand basin, bidet, WC, and laundry facilities.

About the surrounding area of Trulli LamaficoTrulli Lamafico can be found in the heart of the countryside, a short drive from the original fishing village of Monopoli, on the south coast of Italy. A scenic sixty kilometre drive from Bari Karol Wojtyła International Airport, will take you to your holiday home.
A ten minute drive will take you to the nearest beaches of Porto Ghiacciolo and Cala Porta Vecchia, with their crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming, diving, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, and kitesurfing along the Adriatic Sea. Sports enthusiasts can explore the local countryside and coastal areas on the hiking and biking trails, enjoy a game of tennis at nearby courts.
Wander through the charming old town of Monopoli, with its cobbled narrow streets, visit the historic Castle of Carlo V, see the frescoed Palmieri Palace, explore the impressive baroque Cathedral, and immerse yourself in the Archeological Museum.

The villa has its own private pool, where they can swim and splash all day, and lovely gardens, where they can safely play. A short drive away is the family-friendly Cala Porta Vecchia or Spiaggia di Porto Ghiacciolo beaches, perfect for building sandcastles and swimming in the sea. Your older children can dive into windsurfing and kayaking or see fishy friends while snorkeling along the coast.
For the sporty bunch, there's hiking and biking along the scenic trails to discover the local flora and fauna, or anyone for tennis at the local club. All aboard for a boat trip, explore cool caves, or stay dry on a glass-bottom boat while peeking at marine life beneath.
Spend the day wandering around Monopoli's Old Town, visit the Archeological Museum and Baroque Cathedral, before enjoying ice cream in the square.
Have a family fun day out at Acquapark Egnazia, with swimming pools and slides for kids of all ages. Zoo Safari Fasano promises a day filled with surprises, with its mixture of wildlife and amusement park attractions.
