Architect Pino Brescia’s construction of a traditional Puglian ‘borgo’ – or fortified village – is a symphony of golden tufa limestone accented by vivid bougainvillaea. Egnazia boasts a masseria, paved streets and arcades, a church, a central piazza, and several stone cottages and villas. During the day, it’s a stunning froth-white world glistening under the Puglian sun. By night, countless citronella candles flicker from every nook and cranny, creating a fairytale atmosphere. It’s no surprise that this is where Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel decided to tie the knot.
Stepping into Casetta Magnifica, spread over two storeys, a cosy living room with a plush sofa, dining table, satellite TV, and music system greets guests. On the ground floor, guests will also find a corner kitchen and an adjacent stone powder room with a WC and shower. Ascending to the first floor reveals two double bedrooms with satellite TVs and two Ostuni stone bathrooms.

About the surrounding area of Casetta Magnifica - Borgo EgnaziaSet serenely near the seaside town of Savelletri on Puglia’s Adriatic coastline, Egnazia is tucked between the ruins of an ancient Roman settlement (from which it takes its name) and the magnificent San Domenico championship golf course.
Of course, Puglia is renowned for its stunning sea and warm, white-sand beaches. And Egnazia boasts two private beaches, one sandy, one pebbly. Stroll through the golf course to the sea or take a free shuttle bus to a secluded, rocky cove, great for swimming. The Cala Masciola Beach Club also has a restaurant and bar to keep you going between dives in the sea.
Egnazia also boasts four stunning pools. Dive into a different pool daily, drink an aperitif at a different bar every afternoon, and dine at a different gourmet restaurant every evening.
Something which no guest should pass up is the opportunity to indulge in Egnazia’s stunning spa. Here, guests will find a sage-scented sanctuary where staff waft about barefoot in long robes, fires warm and glow amber across the white stone, and massages are done with local olive oil.
There are also plenty of options for staying active. Not including the pools and private beaches, the sprawling golf course, tennis courts, and the scenic local surroundings are easily explored on foot or bicycle.

Best Suited For: All AgesEgnazia has many fun kids' and teens' clubs. The clubs boast numerous activities, including cooking classes where kids can learn to make focaccia and pasta. Once a fortnight, the central piazza becomes a stage for a traditional Puglian festival; the little ones will love the cooking stations, dancing, fire displays, storytellers and entertainers.
Egnazia’s private beaches also offer a range of boat hire and water sports, including boarding, surfing and snorkelling. Another equally active option is a family fun day at Aquapark Egnazia (a 5-minute drive), with swimming pools and slides for kids of all ages. Or if the kids prefer to keep their feet dry, they can try their hands at golf or tennis.
And if you’re looking to get out and explore Puglia, a great place to check out is the spectacular caves of Grotte di Castellana (a 37-minute drive). These caves date back 90 million years and are one of Puglia’s best-known wonders. With a network descending 60 metres underground, kids will marvel at hanging stalactites, ancient fossils and deep canyons.
Lastly, Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of Alberobello (a 30-minute drive), is known for its unique trulli houses.
