Looking out over the Aegean sea, on Mykonos, lies villa Callista 1. Sleeping ten guests, villa Callista 1 is filled with comfort and character.  Villa Callista 1 maintains the traditional Greek island design with white-washed walls, round corners and stone patios. Parking above the villa, near the roof, steps lead you to the villa entrance on the first floor. The exterior maintains the classic ‘myconian’ look, blending in with the rocky landscape by mixing traditional white-washed walls and bare stone, creating a sleek, rustic backdrop for the villa.

From the entrance, you step into an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room. The interior blends comfort and style with open stone walls merging into white walls. Floor-to-ceiling windows let plenty of natural light in as well as framing the beautiful sea view. The dining room has an open stone wall on the far side, adding an earthy feel. A low-hanging light feature hangs above the wooden table, while an open doorway leads you into the lounge. The lounge is centred around a wooden coffee table surrounded by rustic wooden stools. An open fireplace faces the room next to a built-in sofa looking out to the patio. Wide patio doors lead out to a patio with comfortable lounge chairs, a perfect place to sip your morning coffee. The kitchen is tucked in towards the back and has all the modern appliances you need for your stay.

On the ground floor, lies four of the five bedrooms, all with access to the large patio. The interior blends comfort and style with air conditioning flowing throughout the villa. Each room has an ensuite so you all have some privacy and plenty of space for everyone to settle into. One of the four bedrooms is a twin bedroom, ideal for children or friends sharing. The master bedroom sits on the top floor of the property, surrounded by spectacular views and plenty of space to relax. The panelled room and white-washed walls surround the homey touches of the bedrooms. Air conditioning flows throughout the villa.  Rustic wooden features are scattered in the room adding character. Using the glass doors, take your morning coffee on your private patio, overlooking the patio and with views of the sea.

The main patio lies on the ground floor. A round infinity pool stretches out to the sea, cooling you off as you soak up the Greek sunshine. Wooden sun loungers with cushioned covers are ready for you to sink into. To one side sits a comfortable outdoor lounge, including a swing seat, the perfect place to enjoy your favourite book. Spend the evenings looking out to sea in the custom-built jacuzzi, seating eight guests. A long alfresco dining table sits underneath a wooden pergola, against a stone wall. The white table is surrounded by white chairs and a sofa, plenty of room for everyone to come together for an evening meal. Characterful lampshades hang above the table, bathing everyone in light when the sun sets.

Villa Callista 1 offers an outdoor cinema, set above the villa. With comfortable chairs to sink into and the sky above clear, you and your loved one will love spending the evening watching your favourite films in the light of the moon. You also have an outdoor private bar, equipped with speakers, bar stools and cocktails making shakers for you to continue the celebrations into the night. Have your own secret disco to set the scene for the pre or post-party.

Nestled on the south coast of the island Mykonos, villa Callista 1 is the ideal place to immerse yourself in the Greek sunshine. Famed for its ancient volcanic eruption, Mykonos formed thousands of years ago and was apparently the site of a battle between Zeus and the Titans.

Head to the local beach for a relaxing afternoon. With the cooling waters of the Aegean Sea in front of you, you can bask under the sunshine, enjoying the sandy beach and shade of the parasols. Cafés and restaurants line the beach, offering a welcome rest from the sunshine and refreshments to cool you and your families down. The coastline around the island is speckled with beautiful beaches, take to the waters and explore all the hidden coves and sandy shores this island has to offer.
Take a day trip to Mikonos town, one of the best-preserved, historic towns in Greece. Here you will be surrounded by classic, white-washed walls buildings, filled with cafes, and restaurants. Defined by the strong winds, the island is often referred to as the ‘land of the wind’ and has an iconic windmill landmark. 16th-century windmills overlook the Mykonos town and the sea beyond, topped with thatched rooftops and white-washed round buildings.

Nicknamed ‘little Venice’, Mykonos town looks out over the sea and is one of the most famous places to visit Mykonos. You and your loved ones will love watching the sunset over the sea from the waterfront. Watching the sparkling waves change colours as the sun disappears. From Mykonos, you and your family can visit neighbouring islands, venturing as far as the famous Santorini, taking less than two hours via ferry. Santorini is the iconic, volcanic island filled with white-washed buildings, walls and staircases, making the island the flagship of the Greek island.

Mykonos is a great getaway for the whole family to enjoy and villa Callista 1 is an ideal base. The entrance level living area is designed to bring everyone together. Enjoy meal times around the dining tables, trading stories of the day’s events and hear the excitement in their voices about what the next day will bring. All bedrooms are under one roof making it easy to keep an eye on everyone. One of the bedrooms has twin beds- perfect for children staying and a cot and highchair are also available upon request for the newest members of the family.

The kids will love making a splash in your private pool. Parents with younger children should be careful as there are no boundaries on the pool edge and may be slippery to walk around. The Aegean Sea is a playground for their adventurous minds. Explore it via boat rides and tours or see what’s under the surface and go snorkelling! For the older ones, there’s an abundance of water sports including paragliding while you explore the coastline.

Security deposit €2.000 charged to client’s credit card or paid in cash to the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

Other Ts and Cs Please note that on occasions, in Greece, extremes in weather can cause water and/ or electric supply to be cut or reduced. Services are normally restored as soon as possible.
Changeover day Flexible.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Minimum stay July and August 7 Nights, all other months 5 nights.
Internet access? Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is included in rental price. It is good to note that the speed is dependent on the local provider and technical issues may cause reduced speed or cut of service.

The Greek government requires owners to collect a Tourist Climate Tax, your property manager will collect this in cash:
