Overview

Pool Ideal for Kids Walk to Beach Walk to Village

Following a traditional design, you’ll find that Villa Dassia has everything you could want, set in a homely yet uncluttered environment. The ground floor is mainly open plan, with terraces leading out from the main dining area at the front of the house and also towards the rear of the building. Both terraces have plenty of room for everyone and are covered, allowing you to escape the sun if you need to while still enjoying the views.

The swimming pool sits on 2000 m2 of grounds – some laid to lawn, and some as part of the terrace surrounding the pool. There are sun loungers and umbrellas here, as well as a lovely barbecue area which is set a little apart from the main house.

The kitchen has everything you would expect to find in a villa of this calibre – fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee machine – and there’s also a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.
From the kitchen, the open-plan layout takes you through to the sitting room – with its cosy feel created by the sofa, armchairs, television, and fireplace. Next there is a dining room that leads out to the main front terrace – the perfect place to gather in the early evenings, enjoying the view with a glass of something cold to hand.

With air conditioning throughout the villa, you’ll also find that all the bedrooms have the added bonus of a private balcony and a television – great if you want to sneak off for some quiet from the rest of the house. The main sleeping accommodation is on the first floor, but there’s one double bedroom tucked away on the ground floor, and another bathroom here too.

The first-floor master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and super views of the surrounding hills from its private balcony. There’s a double bedroom on the first floor, as well as bunk beds – both rooms have private balconies but share a family bathroom. All the bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage, allowing you to unpack properly and settle in to your luxury villa holiday.

What you should know…

  • One of the twin bedrooms has bunk beds, perfect for children but not so comfy for grown-ups!
  • Dassia is pretty small; if you want more bustling night life, you’ll need to travel to Corfu Town itself. However, the villa is so well situated - it is only about a 20 minute drive away
  • The villa has plenty of trees and bushes to ensure privacy, however there are neighbouring villas overlooking the garden

Tucked just outside the tourist town of Dassia, Villa Dassia (where it gets its name from) is only a short distance from Ipsos beach and to the nearest restaurants. You can lay down and sunbathe in one of the many sunbeds that sprawl around the coastline, or take up one of the many watersports available. It is also a great spot to just have a freddo espresso while contemplating the sunset.

Further up the beach there is a large range of beachside tavernas – grab a tasty souvlaki on the go at Taste'n'Easy or have a nice authentic meal at the family-run restaurant Andreas, where they serve some of the freshest mussels of the island!

Corfu Town is only a 20-minutes ride away and is well worth a visit. Whether it is to visit the palace Mon Repos, to be amazed by the two Venetian fortresses or only to have a stroll around the Spianada (the largest square in Corfu), this town will not disappoint you - it surely lives up to its UNESCO World Heritage status.

Another historical point of interest, and definitely worth a visit is Achilleion. Luxury and grandeur define this amazing place. Located in Gastouri, this palace is known as the summer residence of Empress Sissi, whom found the wonderful sun and natural environment of Corfu truly therapeutic.

And if you’re in need of a cosy abode, take a look at our flawless villas in Corfu.

  • Fabulous home, great host, everything you need within walking distance

    on 11/09/2018

This is a great property and the photos do not do it justice. Takis is amazingly helpful and all his recommendations were first class. He was very helpful if needed and only a txt away! The little private beach is perfect for a morning swim and Dassia beach (5 minute walk) has all the water sports and great restaurants, boat hire (very good value) and views. Barbati us a 10 minute drive and excellent beach also. This is a great holiday home. Clean, well positioned and extra facilities you don’t expect. Loved it. We will be back. Oh and the fruit and veg shop on the corner is great!

  • Very well kept spacious well air conditioned villa with very nice pool. Owner very welcoming.

  • Great location, excellent service!

    on 22/06/2018

We (3 adults and 3 children) enjoyed 8 nights in this lovely villa. The owner was a very nice person and very helpful!
The villa is spacious with many bedrooms with air condition, bathrooms and balconies. Wifi is working well.
Kitchen is fully equipped, so we cooked many times and had BBQ.
The yard is so nice with large pool, sunbeds, terrace, grill etc.
The location is very good. Shops, restaurants and a small beach only few hundred meters away.
Cleaning was arranged every other day and the cleaning lady did fantastic job!

We would definitely stay here again!

  • Simply perfect, idyllic and magnificent

    on 24/09/2017

We spent two weeks at this brilliant villa, as a family of four, it catered for all of our needs and more. The luxurious accommodation was well maintained, extremely clean benefiting from a team of cleaners that visited frequently throughout our stay. The pool is to die for and this is where we spent much of our time. The location is great being very close to an array of local shops and restaurants ( many recommended by Takis- who we found to be a most helpful and accommodating host). We have stayed in many villas -but this is by far one of the best..

  • Fabulous luxury villa!

    on 12/09/2017

Really enjoyed staying in this villa. It was clean, tastefully decorated and spacious. There were many dining areas, a fabulous terrace to lounge on and the pool area was first class. The pool is large and the terrace around it has shaded areas as well as a sunny side so perfect for all! The views from the villa are lovely and if you walk to the nearby beach (5 mins) the views over the Albanian mountains are truly breathtaking!! The owner, Takis, is a lovely man. Very friendly and willing to help in any way. This is a great villa which I can not recommend enough!!

  • Fantastic Villa

    on 03/09/2017

We had a lovely holiday in this Villa and it certainly lived up to expectations. The owner, Takis, was very friendly and hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the air conditioning worked well as did the Wi-fi. The pool and pool area were perfect and the pool was kept very clean. It is close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants in Dassia. The Villa is exactly as described and it is beautiful. We would certainly stay there again and would highly recommend it.
