A large bedroom on this level includes a queen-sized bed and two single beds, as well as a shower, WC and seamless exit to the garden.

On the upper floor you’ll find four uniquely designed rooms, each portraying its own tones and character. The first room features a French bed and en suite, as well as access to a private terrace. The second room also boasts a French bed, an even more lavish en suite, and access to a terrace with scenic views. The final room, a loft-style affair set over two levels, includes a single bed, a queen-sized bed, shower/WC.

Out of doors the south-facing, sun-drenched terrace is embraced by the farmhouse itself. With a turquoise swimming pool, a comfortable pool house with barbecue, and many other terrace and garden furnishings including deck chairs and a large, shaded daybed, this beautiful space will keep everyone entertained.

From Apt to Avignon and Cavaillon to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, there are so many amazing places to explore across this part of Provence whether you are seeking history, wonderful local cuisine or vineyards. Nestled in the district of Les Taillades, this charming Provençal farmhouse is a serene escape just a short distance from the heart of Cavaillon. This secluded villa a world unto itself, but that doesn’t mean it lacks in convenient amenities and attractions. Cavaillon itself is a vibrant town at the foot of the Luberon mountains, with no shortage of shops, restaurants, cafes, local bakeries and supermarkets.

The region is rich with wonderful sights and activities. The Fontaine-de-Vaucluse (45-minute drive) is a stunning and mysterious spring feeding the river Sorgue. In the 1950s, famous subaqueous explorer Jacques Yves Cousteau explored its depths with a submersible but could not find the bottom.

In Roussillon (30-minute drive) you’ll find one of France’s most beautiful villages where houses in shades of ochre perch upon a Provençal ridge and offer a bevy of boutique shops, art galleries and cafes. The village is an adventure in itself, but hiking the trail to the nearby canyon known as Le Sentier des Ocres reveals an almost Martian landscape under the ever-azure sky.

But a visit to this part of Provence would not be complete without a visit to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (20-minute drive), the “island city”, whose beautiful mix of flea markets, art galleries, antique dealers, cafes and restaurants are surrounded by the river Sorgue. For those looking to explore a little farther afield, the Provençal centres of Avignon (45-minute drive), Aix-en-Provence (55-minute drive), and Arles (55-minute drive), are all within touching distance of a day trip.

Le Mas De Bonheur is an idyllic haven for families with children, seamlessly blending comfort, convenience and old-world charm. The delightful garden, inviting swimming pool, and sprawling grounds ensure kids have endless access to entertainment and exploration.

The region’s many sights, attractions and scenic hiking, including to unique spots like Le Sentier des Ocres and Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, mean family outings will last long in the memory. For thrill-seekers the Via Ferrata of Cavaillon blends hiking and climbing. Via Ferrata translates to “iron path”, and refers to mountain-climbing routes made of steel cables, rungs and ladders permanently fixed to the rock. With helmets, harnesses and professional guides, this activity offers a unique view of the Saint Jacques hillside and is not something that will prove easy to forget.
