This villa is located just 2km away from the nearest sandy beach and 4km away from the heart of Saint-Tropez, making this an incredible base for exploring the stunning towns and beaches of the French Riviera.

The home is a space that befits the chic, luxurious feel of Saint-Tropez and has been finished to the highest of standards. Every part of the villa boasts bright and airy spaces, neutral décor and comfortable furnishings.

The living area is located on the first floor to make the most of the breathtaking sea views. The main living and dining room is a vast, open-plan room flooded with natural light from the doors leading onto the large terrace. When you wish to cook dinner or grab a drink from the kitchen, you do not need to go far as the kitchen is located within this open-plan space which creates a sociable atmosphere for cooking and dining together in the evening. As the sun sets, you could gather for a glass of wine on the comfy sofas or head outside to sit in the garden.

Six bedrooms are available to choose from for recharging after a busy day. Five of these are situated in the main villa; four are on the ground floor, and the master suite is set on the first floor and has an inviting bath for a long soak with a good book. The final bedroom is set apart from the villa in a separate studio within the grounds; you can find a double bedroom, a bathroom and a well-equipped gym with fitness equipment in this studio. If you are travelling with grandparents or a couple who would like more privacy from the rest of the party, then this studio would be great.

In addition to a gym, the home has many fantastic features, such as an indoor pool. You will have all you need on hand for a relaxing break, including Wi-Fi, air conditioning and electric roller shutters to close all of the blinds easily.

When you want to head out and see more of your surroundings, there is plenty to see and do locally. A short stroll away, you can visit a luxury 5* hotel managed by the same owners as Villa Charlemagne. The hotel facilities are open to villa guests, so you can enjoy breakfast, book a table at their gourmet restaurant for dinner or visit the spa. You can have all the benefits of the incredible hotel while enjoying the privacy and space of the villa.

There are many more eateries available in Saint-Tropez, 4km away; whether you would like to find a small family-run bistro by the port or dine at one of the town's finest restaurants, you will find something you love. The town is also known for its boutique shopping and amazing beach clubs where you can unwind on a sun lounger sipping a cocktail on some of the area’s best beaches, such as Pampelonne beach. You will need to visit Saint-Tropez a few times to see everything as the town also has a charming old town with historic churches, museums and galleries and the port is filled with boats which head out on trips to the nearby Golden Islands each day.

Villa Charlemagne is situated in a leafy, elevated position overlooking the dazzling blue water of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Whether you wish to spend your time shopping in town, which is just 4km away, dining at the port or visiting pretty hilltop villages, there is plenty to see and do in this gorgeous part of the French Riviera.

When you wish to dine out or pick up some groceries, there are a number of places nearby. Heading inland through the vineyards and hills, you could go to the little village of Gassin, which is 6km from the villa. Gassin is a nice escape for when central Saint-Tropez is busy and is a charming spot off the beaten track. Praised as one of France’s most beautiful villages, this is definitely a place which should be on your itinerary, and you can easily spend an afternoon or two having lazy lunches in the square. This historic settlement has old town walls and chapels, which you can visit and walking trails with staggering views.

When you fancy getting dressed up and visiting Saint-Tropez for dinner, the villa is just 4km away from the centre, which boasts a quaint old town and a thriving port. In Saint-Tropez, you will find several beautiful beaches. One example is Bouillabaisse beach, a peaceful beach close to the town centre with golden sand and exclusive beach clubs where you can lounge on a comfy sun lounger sipping a glass of local wine. Aside from the range of beaches, Saint-Tropez is, of course, known for its shopping, and whether you prefer bartering at the markets or perusing designer stores, there is something for everyone.

Make sure to allow some time to see the other side of Saint-Tropez, known as La Ponche, a lovely place to explore. La Ponche is the authentic old town clustered around the historic fishing port. In this area, you can see the citadel, the old bell tower, ancient churches and a traditional market which sells herbs and fresh produce. As evening comes around, you have plenty of options, including seafood restaurants on the port or exclusive eateries such as Au Caprice des Deux which serves refined French cuisine in romantic surroundings.

If you would prefer to have dinner closer to the villa, then guests can access a gourmet restaurant at a 5* hotel which is managed by the same owner as the villa. Just a short stroll away, this hotel has incredible facilities and unrivalled views over the sea below. As well as having a fine-dining restaurant for the evenings, the hotel offers breakfast which villa guests can partake in and light lunches, which you can enjoy al-fresco on the atmospheric hotel terrace. You could even spend all day at the hotel as there are several pools, a gym and a brilliant spa where you could have a massage or beauty treatments.

If you would like to see more of the area, then why not take a boat trip to the breathtaking Golden islands or drive over to neighbouring Sainte-Maxime, 13km away.

Villa Charlemagne is an idyllic place to stay for a family holiday. The home offers space for up to 12 guests and a great outdoor space with an infinity pool, a fantastic base for a large group to get together.

Close to the villa, there are pristine white sandy beaches, forest walking routes and plenty of family-friendly attractions to visit. For example, one place you could visit for the day is the town of Fréjus which is just over 30km away. The town boasts the largest water park in this area, with splash parks, playgrounds, numerous pools and a range of slides for all ages. If you haven’t had enough fun, you can also visit the nearby fun fair on the seafront!

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
