Enjoy a vacation in the sun when you stay at the fabulous Galt House in the bright residential area of exclusive Fort Lauderdale, on Florida's Atlantic Ocean. This one-storey, detached family house has four spacious double bedrooms. It can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests, ideal for a large family holiday or a group of friends' travelling together. The house is set on its own grounds, with a tropical garden, paved terrace, and your own private swimming pool. Complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi are included, and there is parking for up to four cars. Galt House has been stylishly furnished with contemporary pieces, decorated in a soothing palette of crisp, clean white with cool shades of grey, and has a holiday home-from-home vibe.
The light and airy open-plan living space has floor-to-ceiling windows that reveal the garden and pool terrace. The seating area has big, comfy, dove-grey sofas, a matching armchair, a sideboard, and a large flat-screen Roku television for your entertainment. There are not one, but two fully equipped modern kitchens, with ovens and hobs, microwaves, fridge freezers, and those must-have morning coffee makers, perfect for two families sharing. There are also two formal four-seater dining sets for indoor entertaining. Galt House has four well-appointed spacious double bedrooms, each with two queen-sized beds in the finest linens and their own smart TV. There are four bathrooms, some ensuite, some shared, all with bathtubs and shower combos, vanity units, and WCs.
Step outside onto the fenced-in lush garden, with tall palm trees for shade and a paved pool patio. Spend the day sunbathing by the step entry swimming pool on the surrounding sun loungers. Catch up with the gossip and this year's best sellers at one of the soft seating sets. In the evening, gather around the bar at the summer kitchen for cocktails, feast alfresco with dishes freshly grilled on the barbeque, then sit around the fire pit under a Florida sky and raise a toast to the most memorable holiday.

About the surrounding area of Galt HouseGalt House is in a prime residential neighbourhood of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, not far from the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Your holiday home from home is only a few miles from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Within the vicinity, you will find grocery stores for provisions for your stay, high-end restaurants, parks in which to take a stroll, and welcoming cafes, bars, and restaurants.
The nearest soft white sandy beach of Fort Lauderdale is ten minutes away, with a selection of superb water sports to keep you amused. Try your hand at deep-sea fishing, paragliding, jet skiing, kayaking, and scuba diving. For those who prefer a more leisurely day, take a cruise around the coast, sunbathe and swim, take a water taxi around the canals, or join a riverboat complete with lively entertainment.
Tee off at one of the many world-renowned Fort Lauderdale golf clubs, or anyone for tennis on a local court. Visit the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens, a historic estate with a fabulous art collection.
A ten-minute drive will take you to Las Olas Boulevard's exclusive destination hot spot. Here, you can wine and dine in the plethora of international restaurants, quaff cocktails in a swanky bar, and dance until dawn at Himmarshee Village, a popular nightlife area with live music venues, bars, and clubs. For the romantics, step aboard for a sunset cruise and sip champagne under the stars.

Best Suited For: All AgesYou'll be spoilt for choice with things to do and see when you stay in Fort Lauderdale. Starting with the private pool, where you and your family can enjoy a daily swim. There's a local park where they can play, and tennis courts nearby for your budding backhanders. The nearest beach is a ten-minute drive away, where your younger kids can build sandcastles, and the older ones can swim and snorkel in the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean and practice kayaking and paddleboarding along the coast. Highly recommended for families is Deerfield Beach, with a children's playground, picnic areas, and a pier. All aboard for a family day out at sea, for some fabulous fun, try the pirate cruise or the more sedate water taxi ride through the city's canals.
Visit Xtreme Action Park, an indoor complex that offers go-kart racing and children's activities. Flutterby Butterfly World, or stand on one leg in the Flamingo Gardens. Discover the hands-on exhibits at the Museum of Discovery and Science with an in-house IMAX theatre. Step back in time at the Old Fort Lauderdale Village and Museum and discover the city's history and heritage. Take a walk in nature and watch the wildlife in the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park before strolling along the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk, lined with shops and restaurants. End the day at Swap Shop, a flea market with a cinema and amusement rides.

End of stay cleaning included? | Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. |

Pets welcome? | On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. An additional charge of $385 will be required, this will be confirmed and paid to Oliver's Travels along with the balance. |

Pool heating charge? | $30 fee per day. Please coordinate with us prior to your arrival so that we can arrange for the heater to be on. |
