Take a step back from the daily grind and escape to Villa Avraam, a luxury four-bedroomed villa on Cyprus’s beautiful eastern coast. Its decor is fresh and contemporary with classic Mediterranean influences. Think sleek whitewashed walls and playful pops of colours in the nautical-inspired wall art and soft furnishings – drawing on the blue hues of the sky and the sea. The villa is in a prime elevated spot overlooking the coast and is close to the popular resort town of Protaras.
The outdoor area perhaps steals the show with its large outdoor swimming pool and terrace area that’s dotted with sun loungers. Walk up a couple of steps and you’re on the veranda with alfresco dining table kept in the shade with an elegant pergola. Walk through the double doors and you’re into the spacious living, dining and kitchen area with those fabulous sea views from every angle. With sofas and indoor dining table too, there’s plenty of places for you to sit back and relax.
Villa Avraam also boasts a modern fully-equipped kitchen and you can pick up fresh produce from the local supermarkets, bakeries and shops. Or, if you’d prefer to eat out instead Protaras has a selection for restaurants and friendly Cypriot tavernas. Look out for traditional mezes and freshly-cooked seafood. By night, the town comes alive. Sip cocktails in one of the bars or have some family fun singing karaoke. When you get back, cooling air conditioning, comfy beds and Wi-Fi await.
There’s a twin room and bathroom on the ground floor, while upstairs you’ll find the other three bedrooms. The master is a double room with a stylish en-suite, and there’s also another double and a twin. With a family bathroom – ft. bath tub on this floor too – space is not an issue at this villa. For when you’d like to go exploring, the villa’s located between Protaras and Cape Greco national park. The nearest beaches are just two minutes’ drive away and Ayia Napa is seven minutes’ drive away.

About the surrounding area of Villa AvraamVilla Avraam takes an idyllic spot overlooking Protaras – a popular resort town in eastern Cyprus. It’s just a two minute’ drive from the nearest sandy swimming beaches as well as Protaras centre with its shops and restaurants. Ayia Napa with its Blue Flag Beaches, water park and lively night life is also only a seven minute’ drive away. Spend your days wandering the cobbled streets or head to one of the many coastal spot in the area. Fig Tree Bay with its old, lone fig tree is a popular choice. There, swim or snorkel in the calm, crystal-clear waters or take part in exciting water sports. There’s also an island you can swim out to and a boardwalk you can walk along (especially excellent at sunset).
Located near Cape Greco National Forest Park too, there’s plenty to see and do. Explore the protected pine forest trails via walking, cycle or horse riding. The routes take in fantastic nature, sea and coastal cliff views – camera at the ready! To the north of Protaras is also the limestone Church of Profitis Ilias. It marks one end of a nature trail that leads to Konnos Beach.
For the scuba divers, Cape Greco is also a top choice. It has a myriad of pristine caves, rock formations and canyons to explore. Stop off in the centre of Ayia Napa and visit the Venetian-era Ayia Napa Monastery, which stands in the central square and is surrounded by bars and clubs. Ayia Napa Harbour is also an excellent place to try freshly-caught seafood, while adjoining Pantachou Beach offers a stretch of golden sand for whiling away the warm afternoon on.

Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Avraam with its private swimming pool, quiet and peaceful location that’s also only a short drive from Protaras centre and the nearest sandy beach is an ideal choice for families with children.
The villa is only two minutes’ drive from the nearest sandy beach where children young and old can swim or snorkel in the calm waters. Fig Tree Bay is also a top choice. There’s plenty of water sports on offer, like kayaking and parasailing, and there’s a small island you can swim out to.
Protaras is also home to Cape Greco National Forest Park with protected pine forest trails that can explored via walking, cycling or horse riding. The trails take in fantastic sea and cliff views. With its caves and rock formations, it’s also an excellent place to scuba dive or snorkel.
For more family-friendly days out, you could head to Ayia Napa, where there are more Blue Flag beaches, a water park and an interesting Venetian-era monastery.
