The villa’s exterior reflects the architectural beauty of the region, with its warm stone façade and inviting Mediterranean colours. Azure skies will draw you outside to the villa’s peaceful terrace each morning, where you can begin your day with a refreshing dip in the private swimming pool before sipping a cup of freshly brewed coffee and unwinding on a poolside sun lounger. The Zuccato Palace is a Gothic palace with a beautifully preserved façade, which today houses a small gallery. Decumanus Street is a popular shopping area today, with plenty of independent boutiques and gift shops that sit alongside cute local cafes and traditional restaurants.
Roughly a half-hour drive away from Villa Panerai, the Baredine Cave offers something a little different for adventure-seeking visitors! Take an underground tour of this unique cave system some sixty metres below the ground, where you will witness stalactites, stalagmites and mesmerising underground lakes.
