Each morning, bright blue skies and the gentle sea breeze will draw you outside to the villa’s private terrace, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or sip a cup of freshly brewed coffee on a poolside sun lounger. Make your way to the beach for an afternoon swim in the ocean, enjoy family fun and games in the garden or simply relax by the pool in the company of a good book, with the sounds of the natural world around you and an outdoor shower at your disposal, so that you can cool off whenever you feel like taking a break from the warm sun. Villa Fleur is ideally situated in the peaceful hamlet of Stancija Portun, just two kilometres away from the vibrant centre of Poreč and the dazzling turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. The villa is within easy walking distance of a local supermarket and a restaurant, while scenic walking and biking trails lead from the house towards the stunning Istrian coastline.

Spend a sunny afternoon wandering through the old town of Poreč, perched on a tiny peninsula and surrounded by breathtaking ocean views. Here, history lovers will be captivated by a visit to the Euphrasian Basilica, the town’s most significant cultural monument and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Zuccato Palace is a Gothic palace with a beautifully preserved façade that houses a small gallery today. The palace is located on Decumanus Street, a famous street that provides an authentic glimpse into Istria’s colourful past thanks to its many historical sites. Today, Decumanus Street is also a popular shopping area, with plenty of independent boutiques and gift shops that sit alongside cute local cafes and traditional restaurants.

Only a fifteen-minute drive from Poreč, the Baredine Cave offers something different for adventure-seeking visitors! Take a subterranean tour of this unique cave system some sixty metres below the ground, where you will witness stalactites, stalagmites and mesmerising underground lakes. Don’t forget to wear comfortable footwear and warm clothing before descending underground, where friendly and experienced guides will provide fascinating cave tours and an in-depth look at the history of this unique part of Istria.

After a morning spent exploring the region’s ancient caves, make your way to the sun-drenched Istrian coast to while away the afternoon. Only three kilometres from Villa Fleur, Zelena Laguna Beach is one of Poreč’s most beautiful beaches, with warm, crystal-clear waters and secluded shores.
