Villa Almira is a beautifully decorated and stylish villa, offering fantastic views over the valley and surrounding countryside. Located only a thirty minute drive from the old town of Dubrovnik, this romantic villa offers three bedrooms ideal for a family retreat away in Croatia for those who like to unwind in a relaxed atmosphere.
The villa is reached via a small road offering a private retreat away. As you enter the property, there is a large open plan kitchen/living area perfect for socialising as a group. Large glass doors offer views out to the pool area and the charming countryside beyond, meaning even from the comfort of the inside you can admire the stunning surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook up some summer feasts, to share as a group. Upstairs, all three bedrooms are extrenely comfortable, with 1 bedroom having an en-suite bathroom and access to a balcony so you can enjoy watching the sun rise and set, the perfect spot for a morning coffee!
The external areas of Villa Almira are to be desired. The stone building with wooden shutters offers a romantic ambience to the space and the tempting waters of your private heated pool are a luxurious aspect of this villa you will not forget. Sun loungers offer the perfect opportunity to top up your tan or read your book. If al-fresco dining and cooking is your thing, there is also an outdoor kitchen so you can make the most of the warm evenings and cook outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely villa in a very tranquil location
We stayed at Villa Almira in Croatia which is a lovely villa in a very tranquil location. Well equipped and plenty of space for our family of four. We were met by Toni who was very welcoming and helpful and had kindly provided some basic food and drink items for us. He gave us a thorough tour however it would have been useful to have had some written information to refer to as we had to contact him and his wife on a couple occasions to ask further questions, for example where the outside bins were!
A car is essential here and although there is a good restaurant in the village it is a 20 minute walk away, down a steep and winding hill and because of this would likely take closer to 40 minutes to walk back! We were lucky in as much as the first night we went there they were not busy and the owner kindly drove us back after our meal.
A few things stopped us from awarding the Villa five stars - the beds are very hard and the pillows very thin so it was hard to get a comfortable nights sleep (we managed by piling spare quilts on top of the mattress that we found under the bed, and putting cushions under the pillows). Also there is no outdoor table - the barbecue, and “outdoor” kitchen and dining table are actually indoors in the entrance to the house which is a rather odd set up. We had to open the exterior door and windows before using the barbecue and then had to carry the very heavy table outside so that we didn’t have to eat indoors on a warm evening.
We loved the scenery, beautiful views and peaceful environment and there are lots of good restaurants within a 15 minute drive. -
Very nice villa for a relaxing holiday
We spent two relaxing weeks in this beautiful villa. It is wonderfully quiet in a small place, 20 minutes from Dubrovnik airport. The villa is fully equipped and well maintained. The view and the landscape are just wonderful. By car you can quickly reach the surrounding villages and towns. Shopping facilities can only be reached by car. We explored the area by bike and overcame some altitude.
The warm and friendly landlord can be reached at any time and have many valuable tips ready. We often vacation in holiday homes and we can say that the holiday in this villa was one of the best.
