Formerly known as Prune Island, this incredible destination features five stunning beaches of silky-soft sand, palm trees and turquoise waters and is the perfect destination for groups who want to unwind and get away from it all. Guests staying on the island can enjoy the resort’s incredible spa facilities and amazing restaurants, with a golf buggy provided to transport you to and fro.
Palm Island is a haven for wildlife, and during your stay, you’ll be able to spot iguanas, geckos and hermit crabs. Life here on the island moves at a slow, relaxed pace, with visitors spending their time reading or sunning themselves on the beach or enjoying leisurely games of tennis and croquet. Kayaking, snorkelling and other water sports are popular pastimes with guests here, and for a truly memorable experience, Oliver recommends booking an excursion to swim with the sea turtles in the crystal clear waters. Other ‘must-do’ activities during your stay are walking or cycling along the three nature trails on the island. Here you can meander through Palm Island’s lush vegetation, spotting exotic birds as well as some of the other local fauna on your travels. Your older teens will enjoy all of the luxury that the villa and the island has to offer, including an incredible infinity pool, nearby beaches, and crystal-clear waters. Excursions to swim with turtles are available, and it’s a memorable experience to enjoy as a family. Other activities to enjoy together include nature walks, tennis, croquet and a variety of watersports that are sure to appeal to adrenaline junkies!
The villa itself affords plenty of space for families to relax and dine together both inside and out, and guests are able to make full use of the resort’s dining and spa facilities - a real treat for younger guests.
