For a picture-perfect Jamaican escape away from the hustle and bustle of traditional holiday resorts, look no further than Casa Kimona. Built in 1956 by a member of the Dupont family; this stunning five-bedroom villa offers privacy, tranquillity and superb views over the Caribbean Sea in a home-away-from-home that’s exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.
Combining traditional Jamaican architecture with modern glamour and convenience, the only bad thing about Casa Kimona is that you’ll never want to leave. This romantic retreat features vibrant cosy décor throughout with a spray of leafy trees framing the property’s edges.
Inside, your spacious villa is spacious enough to never feel busy even when at full capacity. Your main living space is a rich open plan lounge, flanked by a fully-equipped kitchen on one side and a comfy dining room on the other.
The indoor living room has your choice of comfortable furnishings and a wide-screen TV featuring cable channels and a DVD player. High-speed internet is also available throughout Casa Kimona, making it easy to connect with friends and family back home or plan activities around the island.
Outside, you’ll find several outdoor areas to enjoy – from comfy lounge furniture perfect for enjoying an evening cocktail to a covered dining space on the terrace.
The villa offers its fair share of on-site activities, the main attraction being its magnificent infinity pool which offers spectacular views of the valley below and Caribbean Sea over the horizon. You’ll also find your own private tennis court and private putting green on the property.
Relaxing at Casa Kimona is easy, with a full staff of assistants on hand to ensure your stay is carefree. Housekeepers will keep your property lovely and clean while your own private chef will whip up delightful meals using the finest local ingredients.
Casa Kimona sleeps up to ten people, with five bedrooms to choose from. Each room is decorated in its own unique style with a private en-suite bathroom. Offering varied views over the Caribbean Sea, gardens, tennis courts and beyond, each room has something to offer special to offer its residents.
What you should know…
- Round Hill is about a ten minute drive away from the villa, so if you wish to use your membership we recommend renting a car for easy access
- Casa Kimona is located in a very quiet location, so may not be suitable for holidaymakers who like to get out and explore their surroundings
- Please note that you will need to select 10 guests should you wish to have access to all 5 bedrooms. Those selecting fewer guests will only have access to a prorated number of bedrooms based on 2 guests per room.
- It’s customary to leave a 15% gratuity to the staff of your villa as a thank you for their hospitality when you leave

About the surrounding area of Casa KimonaLocated on Jamaica’s west coast, Casa Kimona is just a 25 minute drive away from Montego Bay and the neighbouring city of the same name. Your villa is nestled on a beautiful hillside offering stunning views over the treeline and Caribbean Sea beyond.
Your villa comes with complimentary Round Hill membership for the duration of your stay, giving you access to all of their facilities which are only a ten minute drive away from the villa. At Round Hill, you can relax on the beach, explore jogging trails, relax at their wellness facilities, dine at their bars and restaurants and make use of the kids club at your leisure. The nearest village to Casa Kimona is Unity Hall, a quiet residential area with a handful of food spots popular with locals. If you venture further afield into Hopewell, about five minutes west of the Round Hill estate, you’ll find a white sand beaches, local bars and eaters and a small selection of shops you can visit.
For a day out, the lively city of Montego Bay is only 20 minutes away by car. In Montego Bay, you can learn all about the local area and visit its historic sites. Popular with tourists from all over the world, Montego Bay is a popular cruise port which is always lively with the day’s visitors to the island.

Prior to Booking
Please be aware that Jamaica is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. This tropical rainforest climate results in the island experiencing a hurricane season, which usually occurs between June to November. Entry Requirements
Tourists who are British Citizens will not require a visa upon arrival and Departure Tax is included in most flight costs. Please check Entry Requirements before departure.
Getting There
Jamaica has two international airports, Donald Sangster in Montego Bay and Norman Manley, Kingston.
From the US:
There are many direct flights with Jet Blue, Caribbean, Delta, American and United from cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.
From the UK:
There are direct flights to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Manchester with American Airlines, British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Glasgow and Belfast passengers can also fly via the US with United Airlines.

Villa Staff included at this property:
A full-time dedicated chef, butler, housekeeper, a personal laundress and a night manager attend exclusively to your villa.
A complimentary driver will handle airport transfers, trips within Montego Bay, and a one day excursion (all other trips will be charged locally). Gas is an additional cost.
Your cook will handle grocery shopping and meal preparation. They will pre-purchase your first few meals plus pantry staples, then finish the week's shopping after meeting with you. At week's end, they will present receipts for all food and beverage and reconcile your account. A typical grocery budget is $55-$65 per adult per day and $20-25 per day for preteens. This may vary up or down depending on market prices and menus.(more luxurious items such as shrimp, lobster, imported meats and Champagne will incur a further charge).
Your cook will also pre-purchase a small starter bar (a few bottles of Red Stripe, moderately-priced wine and rum). Additional alcohol requests will increase your budget. If you wish to go to the various markets with them, you are welcome. Otherwise, simply review your tastes and distastes with them and they'll handle it all while you stay at the villa and relax.
A nanny can be arranged for an average of $12 per hour. Guests should plan to add approximately $20 per day for food for their nanny.

Villa Conditions
- Bedrooms will be allocated dependent upon ‘Number of Guests’ at the time of Booking. Any unused Bedroom(s) may not be available to Guests.
- A 50% deposit may be required for bookings that include Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years Eve.
- A obligatory Gratuity rate of 15% of the overall booking is due to be paid to the Staff before departure. Please plan to pay in Cash (US Dollars or the local currency).
- Access to Round Hill is only guaranteed for guests travelling until October 2022, for bookings after that date please check with our sales team
- Prepayment of a service charge is required for all reservations (10% of the villa rental in the high season and 15% of the villa rental in the low season)
