Villa Rhea is on a hillside, on the outskirts of the pretty seaside town of Kissamos. The villa can accommodate up to four guests, across two spacious en-suite bedrooms. The interior of the villa is incredibly charming. There is a delightful lounging and dining area with patio doors that allow the Greek sun to flood in, and provides access to the outdoor terrace. In addition to this, there is a spacious kitchen area, fully equipped with an oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and dishwasher. On the ground floor, a king-size en-suite master bedroom can be found. It has a fantastic bathroom that includes a luxury bath and direct access to the pool terrace. Heading upstairs, guests will find the second double bedroom, with a balcony.
Villa Rhea has a truly dazzling mountain and seaview, which can be admired form the first floor’s broad balcony. Furthermore, the garden has its own outdoor private pool ideal for playing or cooling down in. The exterior plot is also equipped with sunloungers and dining furniture, so there are lots of places to relax. Additionally, there is a barbecue, so if you would prefer to stay in for the evening then you can cook-up a delicious meal.
Villa Rhea is in a very private and privileged location. There is something for everybody to enjoy, great beaches in the area with stunning backdrops and good tavernas in the area.

- The villa is located in a small and exclusive gated development of eight villas so while you will not be completely isolated you will still have plenty of privacy and private outdoor space to enjoy

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa RheaThe villa has an excellent location within a small, private gated community close to the village of Kaliviani, where a range of amenities can be found. The nearest beach can be found just a few-minutes away at Gramvoussa Bay, although we recommend venturing a little further and heading to either Falassarna or Balos Lagoon, both of these beautiful beaches are around twenty-minutes away by car. The closest resort, Kissamos, is around ten-minutes away and boasts a wider selection of amenities. The airport, Chania International, is conveniently located just under an hour away.

How to reach Chania
There are two ways to reach Chania: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: Chania Airport (CHQ) is only a 20 minutes ride away from central Chania. During the summer months, frequents overseas and domestic flights are performed. In most of the cases, there are available buses that connect Chania city and most of the villas. You can also hire a car from one of the many rental companies at the airport, or alternatively get a taxi to bring you right to your doorstep.
By ferry: If you choose to do an island-hopping trip and use the ferry as a method of transportation, then the closest port is in Souda, only 8km from the centre of Chania. Only ferries from Piraeus in Athens or Heraklion in Crete. Heraklion port has a wider choice: you can also take a ferry from other Greek islands like Santorini, Mykonos or Paros, but you will have to take a longer bus ride to reach your villa. Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe villas are great for families. There are highchairs and cots available for babies and toddlers. The outside area is good for evening barbecues.
Nearby Gramvoussa Beach is sandy and the rugged coastline provides great snorkelling. A boat to the little island with a venetian fortress on will provide interest for toddlers and older children alike. Other days out can include the lagoon at Balos, the Monastery at Elafonissi and for older kids the Samana gorge.

| End of stay cleaning included? | Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. |
| Linen & towels included? | Bed linen and bath towels are included in the rental price. Please bring your own pool towels. |

| Pool heating charge? | For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of €490 per week (to be paid locally on arrival). Please request at the time of booking. | Tax | From 1st January 2018, you’ll need to pay an Overnight Stay Tax which has been introduced by the Greek Ministry of Tourism. The Tax is €0.50 per person, per night. This will be required to be paid upon arrival, at your Villa |
| Insurance | Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay. |
The Greek government requires owners to collect a Tourist Climate Tax, your property manager will collect this in cash:

Heaven on Earth
We spent 10 days in July in the Villa Rhea with 2 adults and 2 teenagers (17 and 15 years). From the 1st minute we arrived we felt most welcome. Eleni is an angel, she took care for everything you could think of. All recommendations she gave were really great especially the sailing tour from Kissamos to Balos beach.
The house itself is pretty stylish and there are two seperate sleeping rooms. Air condition worked without any problems, we never had any issues with hot water or electricity. Cleaning of the house took place every day, change of towels as well.
We will definitely come back to this lovely place. -

We keep returning for so many reasons: fantastic location with gorgeous views, friendly staff, super clean homes, impeccable layouts of the houses, ease of getting to the beaches and restaurants and grocery stores. I truly can't say enough good things to do the property justice. We will return again next summer!

A delightful, relaxing, beautiful place... beautiful views, friendly hosts, lovely accommodation. The grounds/gardens are planted very well -- attractive, private -- and the view from the infinity pool is everything you'd want. We will return!
