About the surrounding area of Villa FrenkVilla Frenk can be found in the heart of the Turkish countryside, nestled in the quiet village of Inlice. It is a thirty-minute drive from Dalaman International Airport to your holiday home. In the village of Inlice, you will find minimarts and local stores selling provisions to cater for your holiday and a scattering of cafes, bars, and restaurants. The nearest beach is on the shores of Inlice, a couple of kilometres drive. Within the area, Gocek, Sarigerme, and Katranci are fabulous beaches with organised facilities, whilst Cleopatra Island Beach is considered to be the best, with its silky white sand and crystal clear water.
Get active with a selection of adrenalin-inducing watersports, swim, snorkel, scuba dive, and parasail the seas. Or take a boat trip on a traditional Turkish gulet along the coast. Hike or mountain bike the local area, play a game of tennis and golf at nearby clubs. Horseback or scooter around the countryside to see the local flora and fauna. Go to gorgeous Gocek, indulge in a spot of shopping, walk the length of the marina, and admire the myriad of super yachts before a lunch of freshly caught seafood on the seashore. As the sun sets, sip cocktails in an elegant bar before dancing the night away on the sands of a fashionable beach club.
Go further afield to the cosmopolitan town of Fethiye, feast in the fish market, shop till you drop, visit the historical sights, and take a boat trip to the Twelve Islands.

Fethiye
Situated on the ancient city of Telmessos, Fethiye is named after one of its most famous ‘sons’, the aviator Fethi Bey. An earthquake in 1957 damaged central Fethiye, so many of its buildings have been built since then.You can, however, see a Lycian theatre, Lycian tombs (including the rock tomb of Amyntas) and visit the Fethiye museum for more history and artefacts. The centre of Fethiye boasts a covered market area, half of which is given over to the local fish market where you can choose your catch from one of the centre stalls and then get it cooked in any of the surrounding restaurants. The whole of the area is shadowed by the mountain of Babadag where paragliders take to the skies, landing on the beach at Olu Deniz.
Fethiye’s Tuesday market is worth a visit. Traders come from the outlying villages to sell the wares from their smallholdings. Furrowed browed men with cloth caps, and ladies in floral bloomers will sell their produce amongst the lads trying to get you to buy their designer fakes! It’s all in good humour. Try a little bartering and see if you can do some good business. Go to the spice stall and you will get some amazing spices. Look for the Kar Serbeti, like a cinnamon slush or Ayran, a salty yoghurt drink both guaranteed to cool you down.
Olu Deniz & Calis are where people tend to flock for a beach but there are now a few private beach clubs along the coast between Olu Deniz and Fethiye which are worth a visit. There are also beach clubs situated around the lagoon, all with sunbeds, restaurants and drinks service. Hisaronu is more commercialised and hosts a large selection of bars, restaurants and gift shops.

Best Suited For: All AgesYour kids will be spoilt for things to do when you stay at Villa Frenk, near Turkey’s Turquoise Coast. The villa has its own pool in which they can swim and splash all day and an enclosed garden in which to play. The nearest Inlice beach is a couple of kilometres away, a quiet spot that is perfect for families. A short drive away is Sarigerme sandy beach, with calm waters and family-friendly amenities.
Villa Frenk is set in nature, where you can take a leisurely stroll through the Turkish countryside, admire the local flora and fauna, and stop for a picnic in one of the many parks.
For some fun in the sun, Aquapark Dedeman in Ortaca is filled with pools and waterslides for kids and adults of all ages. Explore the surrounding hills, hiking local trails or cycle paths. Play a game of tennis or golf on nearby courts and courses. Take to the water on a traditional gulet discovering secret coves and hidden bays. Enjoy a selection of watersports, especially kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.
Spend the day in nearby Gocek, shop for souvenirs, then walk along the marina and marvel at the superyachts before enjoying a family supper over the water at a seaside taverna.

Travelling to Turkey
All British (and most other nationalities) citizens require a full 10 year passport with at least 6 months validity to enter Turkey. UK passport holders are exempt from visa for tourist visits of up to 90 days within 180 days starting from the first entry date. For all other passports please visit the Turkish Government Website or the Turkish Consulate for details of whether you require a visa or not.
Whilst in Turkey local regulations require you keep your passport and a printed copy of your e-visa with you at all times.
