Settle down for cocktail soirees at the bar, sign up for private cooking classes in the villa’s open-air kitchen and bond over hearty meals at the indoor dining table. A minibar, tea and coffee maker are also provided.
While both bedrooms are detached from the main section of the estate, they remain true to the sumptuous ambiance of the rest of the house. Puffy king-size beds promise a good night’s sleep, while en-suite bathrooms come with open-air showers that make you feel at one with nature.

About the surrounding area of Baan Viva VillaOffering a myriad of eateries and scenic points, Baan Viva’s location is ideal. Surrounded by teeming mangroves, limestone cliffs and a constellation of over 100 islands, it offers a rich mix of activities and outdoor splendours.
The most convenient point of arrival is Krabi International Airport. From there, a representative of the resort will ferry you to the resort in a private long-tail boat (35 mins) or private speed boat (20 mins). The resort also organizes pickups from Phuket Airport, Ao Nang Beach and the neighbouring islands of Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta.
A visit to Krabi Elephant Sanctuary is a big yes — where you can feed and swim with elephants for a truly once-in-lifetime experience. Head to The Aao Nam Mao Outdoor Aquarium for its dazzling exhibits of rare fish, turtles and sharks.
Accessible only by boat, Railay Beach brims with stunning beaches and wonderful limestone formations. An all-season favourite among rock-climbers, it’s home to over 700 climbing sites and the annual Krabi Rock and Fire International Contest.
You can’t miss Phranang Beach Cave, famous for its sacred image of Buddha.
Island-hopping boat tours in Krabi Town and Ao Nang are highly recommended. Discover beguiling caves and ancient island paintings in the company of an expert local guide.
Wildlife enthusiasts will delight in exploring Thung Teao Forest Nature Park. Home to the Crystal Lagoon, also known as Emerald Pool, this warm water spring is a popular spot for swimming against cascading waterfalls.
A challenging, but rewarding climb of 1,237 steps will take you to the Footprints of Buddha in the Tiger Cave Temple. The name is derived from a legend, which suggests that a fearsome tiger used to live in one of the many natural caves surrounding the temple. Witness the lives of monks who used to live and meditate inside these caves. You will see fascinating stone tools, pottery relics and bizarre pictures of cadavers — which symbolise the Buddhist philosophy that all physical forms are transitory.
Flung 43 kms west of Krabi, Koh Phi consists of six breathtaking islands. Check out rock paintings of Viking ships in Koh Phi Phi Leh. Spend time snorkelling in Bamboo Island and swim with dazzling coral reefs. Koh Phi Phi Don is home to the majestic black-tip and leopard sharks.

The Aao Nam Mao Outdoor Aquarium is a place of wonder and learning, with teeming exhibits of colourful fish, turtles and sharks. They especially enjoy watching anemone clownfish which remind them of Nemo.
For more adventurous fun, go zipline through a dense rainforest in the Tree Top Adventure Park. Krabi Kart Speedway offers a thrilling racecourse. The two-seater karts are extremely safe and perfect for parent and child.
