Nestled in beautiful countryside, Casa De Jaume is an idyllic oasis, offering peace and tranquillity for its guests and spectacular views of the mountains of ‘Sierra de Tramuntana’.

The country house, adorned with traditional wooden shutters and white pillars, and surrounded by palm trees and Mediterranean vegetation, is visually appealing on arrival.

The stunning open plan living and dining room, with stone flooring, whitewashed walls and wooden beams, features comfy modern sofas and a traditional dining table at the foot of the staircase leading to the first floor.

There is a doorway that leads out to the poolside terrace. The modern kitchen is filled with all the appliances and has direct access to the patio.

On the first floor there are four bedrooms featuring whitewash walls, wooden beams, and stone floors to ensure cool nights, and views across the garden area to the mountains.

There is one double bedroom, featuring an antique wooden bed, a desk and comfy armchair. The three twin bedrooms all feature traditional wooden beds and can be pulled together to create double beds.  There are two bathrooms, both featuring a bath/shower facility.

Outside, outdoor living comes into its own amongst the beautifully manicured gardens and palm trees. The long covered terrace runs alongside a beautiful private swimming pool and features an outdoor kitchen/BBQ and dining area - perfect for alfresco mealtimes.

There are numerous sun loungers to relax and sunbathe on alongside the pool and a second terrace which features a chill-out area with outdoor sofas and a dinner table.

What you should know…

  • All of the bathroom facilities are on the first floor but can be easily accessed as they are not ensuite
  • Car hire would be advisable to reach local attractions and shops due to the remote location, which offers complete tranquillity during your getaway
  • In late July each year, the Moors and Christians Festival takes place in Pollensa with a week of festivities culminating in the carnival on the 2nd of August. During this period visitors can expect loud music and celebrations into the night, especially on the 2nd of August.

    The beautifully rural location of the casa offers peace and tranquillity for guests. Located near the picturesque rural town of Arta in the north east of the island, there’s a lot to see and do!

    Tucked in a valley, it is surrounded by the mountains of the Llevant Natural Park along with some of the island's most beautiful rural plains. Be sure to visit on Tuesdays for its weekly market, which is famous for its local pottery and basket weaving.

    The historic town also has numerous sites to visit, including the Sancturary of Sant Salvador and the legendary Caves d’Arta.

    If a day at the beach is in order, there are some truly beautiful beaches nearby. Cala Torta is very much unspoilt and only reachable by 4x4 so you will definitely feel a million miles away on the endless white sand and crystal clear waters; Cala Agulla is definitely worth a visit, the blue flag golden sand beach is surrounded by glorious pine forests and the mountains of Llevant Natural Park; and Cala Ratjada a quaint fishing port with stunning coves to explore.
