As you approach the exterior, you will be blown away by the sheer size of the swimming pool that sits in the centre of the grounds. In addition, this beautiful pool is surrounded by a quaint lawn area that is lined with expertly manicured grass. Thus, guests can choose between sunbathing on the soft lawn or floating around in the refreshing water. This property is also accompanied by a collection of stunning outdoor terraces. Therefore, guests can sit back and relax as they take in the awe-inspiring views that surround them. These terraces are also home to a state-of-the-art barbecue, meaning that guests can prepare and serve a range of delicious meals whenever they like.
The interior of this villa is deeply indulgent, expressing an attractive sense of timelessness and design. The living area is complete with two large sofas and a collection of light sources, creating a familiar sense and comfort throughout the entire property. This space also contains a pair of ornate rocking chairs that guests can use to capture the incredible outdoor views that sit close by. The combined kitchen/dining area uses an array of dark wooden themes to create an alluring sense of cohesion. The dining area uses a very broad table alongside a set of matching chairs. Thus, guests can use this space to delve into their daily meals and truly enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen also adheres to a similar theme and presents a pristine collection of high-end appliances. The ground floor is also home to the first bedroom, which is complete with a stunning double bed and an opulent en-suite bathroom.

These two bedrooms contain spacious double beds, ensuring that guests can maintain a tranquil and restful night’s sleep throughout their stay on this property. About the surrounding area of Villa MitjaCala d’Or is extremely affluent, expressing a decadent range of tourist hotspots and attractions for guests to enjoy. If you are a lover of golf, a trip to Vall d’Or Golf Club is a must-do activity. This exquisite 18-hole course is well recognised for its arrangement of pristine fairways and bunkers, creating a complex and enticing course for any level of player. There is also an intuitive buggy network available for guests who are looking to explore the course in-depth and in style. Once you have completed your invigorating game, you can enjoy a delightful meal in the on-site restaurant. In fact, many previous guests have praised the affordable and pleasant nature of this dining establishment, making it an ideal choice if you are travelling on a budget. Vall d’Or Golf Club is based just under 15-minutes away.
The Mondrago Nature Park is situated around 15-minutes away from the centre of Cala d’Or and is a bustling hub of incredible wildlife and horticulture. With four main nature trails to discover, guests can admire this amazing scenery at their own pace, allowing them to take in every ounce of wonder. This park is home to an eclectic range of majestic creatures such as Algerian hedgehogs, pine martins, and hares. Therefore, guests have the opportunity to learn more about the intricate biodiversity that can be found in this region. For guests travelling by car, The Mondrago Nature Park is home to two large car parks that are open from 9 am till 4 pm.
If you are travelling to Cala d’Or in May, you have the chance to visit the incredible Cala d’Or Jazz Festival. This acclaimed event has been in operation since 1994 and is a key aspect of the region’s popular culture. A majority of the performances are carried out within the many bars and pubs found in the town centre, making them very accessible for tourists. An added bonus is that all of these performances are free to watch, making it a very affordable experience. The Cala d’Or Jazz Festival usually runs from early May till late June.

THE REGION
Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.
Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

Best Suited For: All AgesCala d’Or is also popular with children due to the collection of family-friendly attractions located close by. Drach Caves are an immensely popular attraction that can be found about half an hour away from the centre of the region. During your time inside this alluring underworld, you will come across an abundance of enticing stalactites and stalagmites that truly exemplify the richness of this attraction. These caves are also very large, measuring 1200m long and an astonishing 25m deep. Guests can also embark on a short boat trip along an underground lake and can even listen to a beautiful classical music concert that echoes throughout the structures.
If you are travelling with children who have a more advanced palette, Port Petit is a fantastic dining establishment to visit. Based less than 5-minutes away from the centre of Cala d’Or this restaurant is well recognised for its interesting menu options. Guests can broaden their culinary horizons and dive into dishes such as freshly prepared prawns served with pineapple carpaccio as well as a unique ceviche of sea bass that is cooked in a flavourful marinade. Port Petit is also home to an experienced in-house pastry chef who prepares and serves a collection of delightful desserts with ease. As such, those with a sweet tooth can enjoy handmade macaroons and fresh fruit.
This region is filled with a collection of historical landmarks, with the incredible Es Forti being based around 10-minutes away. This remarkable military base was first constructed in 1730 but was destroyed by a tremendous tsunami in 1755. Therefore, the building we see today was actually constructed in 1793.
This monument was originally home to a defensive corps of 20 men as well as a garrison with four guns and three sentry boxes. Es Forti was also labelled as a Site of Cultural Interest in 1949, signifying its rich legacy within the region. Guests can explore these archaic walls and learn about the military history of Cala d’Or. It should also be mentioned that this attraction is free to enter during the summer months and also hosts a selection of cultural events during this time.
